Lucky to have came in when they weren’t busy. Although it was the weekend it wasn’t busy surprisingly. The food was good, I had the crispy shrimp with walnuts and it was delicious. The general tsao was good too. Their menu is extensive and will have to come back to try the other dishes. The staff were so attentive and the service was great!

The only good thing I have to say is delivery was fast and the driver was courteous. The food is awful, except for the crab puffs. The fried rice tasted like dried out soy sauce, a lot of soy sauce. The Mongolian beef is burnt and has burnt pieces in it. The Kung Po chicken is a weird mushy bland mix all the same color. And, the General Tso chicken isn't crispy at all and tastes like orange chicken.

When I do pick up I always choose pick up at counter because if I don’t, they ALWAYS seem to give me the crumbs. Chow mein is mainly cabbage no noodles. Or beef & broccoli is JUST BROCCOLI. this is the THIRD time this location has done this. Inside was close so I had to use the drive thru. But of course we get home and our food is trash! Literally 2 small pieces of beef. Pics and video to prove it.

Crystal & Sam (as well as everyone on the team! were extremely warm when they greeted me the second I walked in the door! I was very impressed observing how kind and attentive Crystal & Sam were with every guest. I come from a background of fine dining for 6 years where attention to detail is necessary, so when I see that in other establishments I like to ensure recognition is given. Please extend a raise to Crystal & Sam because it’s their kind of service that will attract countless customers to come back! First time coming to this location and I can honestly say I won’t be back….. no one speaks English so it’s hard to communicate with the waiters and managers. The menu for the soups doesn’t specify what is in them so if you wanna try something different it’s best to ask…. My husband wanted to try the seafood soup and didn’t realize it doesn’t come like the chicken noodle soup. ( potatoes, carrots, celery, onions etc) it had bell peppers, green beans, and a whole bunch of other stuff my husband can’t eat all thrown in with seafood and topped off with chicken broth….. the saddest most bland soup ever tasted! When we asked switch it out for something else the manager kinda caught an attitude with us and acted like he didn’t care if he liked the food or not. My husband ended up getting what I have which is the spicy chicken soup and still it’s bland! We will continue to go to the 888 off wayside as we have never had any issues! It’s no surprise this location is completely empty….

The food is good, and the service as well. The place is so clean.

Update… I wanted to give this place another chance after two-ish years and sad to say it may have actually gotten worse to the point that the egg drop soup was pretty much inedible (waaay too salty) and as “good” as the honey walnut shrimp was, it was not enough to warrant a return another return visit…note pics attached are from prior visit/old review that accidentally got written over 🙈

The WORST meal I had in a while. As soon as I opened the box it smelled awful, I took one bite and knew it’s not safe to eat and had to trash it immediately!

I would not recommend. This is my second experience of poor service at this location. I ordered the Maki Mono to go, which on doordash describes a Rock and roll, an eel roll, and a California roll. As you can see from the screenshot I posted, the rock and roll contains shrimp tempura, snow crab, avocado, eel sauce and spicy mayo, basically the description of a shaggy dog roll. When I finally sat down to eat, I noticed none of the three rolls match that description. I returned to the store shortly to get a new shaggy dog roll and show them this discrepancy. They admitted that it was not a correct description on doordash, but they were not willing to help me until I asked for a refund. Then, they did not let me keep the maki mono even though I had opened and touched it. I think they thought I was trying to get over on them, but really I was just trying to get the correct food I ordered. Totally unprofessional. This establishment does not care about customer service at all.

A great sushi restaurant, where you can also sample some Japanese liqor/beer (this is also part of tourism, right?). I dined at this great place during lunch hours (1-2pm), it had groups of workmates from the nearby offices. The service was excellent, the hostesses and waiters were good at explaining the meals or drinks. And, the fair prices for such culinary skills (open kitchen?).

Do yourself a favor and order SOMEWHERE ELSE, especially is your using delivery service… I ordered sweet n sour chicken plate which comes with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll, Yeah right, what I got as a plate of dry as heck sweet n sour chicken, NO EGGROLL, NO SHRIMP FRIED RICE, instead a plate of white old rice and a cup of watered to the gods sweet n sour sauce, literally called within 1 min of delivery driver pulling off, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, sent pics and everything and was still told I ordered the wrong thing, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM CHINA ONE AGAIN! DO UOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER FROM TIMMY CHAN OR SOMETHING!!!!! DON’T DO IIIITTTTTTT!!!!!!

We used to order from them all the time fast cheap and convenient. Tonight outa several items one thing was wrong . While my family enjoyed dinner and ate I drove back to correct the wrong item. Getting there they argued with me told me I was wrong tried to act they didn't speak English. It was disgusting the behavior! Never again also they don't care about veteran status...

This is my first time coming to this location because I work near by. I love schlotzskys but I won’t be coming to this location again. The lettuce in my sandwich had a lot of brown in it like it’s been sitting in the restaurant for days. The bread did not taste freshly baked. And I also ordered the Cinnabon, it was bland and very dry. Again like it’s been sitting there for days. I think this location needs a visit from corporate because from the previous reviews something needs to be fixed! I wasted $20 of my hard earned money.

I order two turkey sandwiches, the first one came out super fast as I was paying. Second one took like 10-15 min for them to give me the sandwich; a man which I assume is the owner asked if they were making it and still Took a while for them the make to give me my food. Don’t recommend this place if you’re in a rush or need something asap.

5 stars for exceeding my expectations. This is my 2nd visit. Small place hidden inside the tunnel. The first time, I came here for lunch a few weeks ago and ordered the Vermicelli with Chicken. It was good. Portion was great and the char grilled chicken was awesome. Nothing bad to say about it except that I wish it would in a bowl. This my first time trying the Pho here and I am seriously surprised. I came in with low expectations but the broth is as good as some other places in Houston. Broth was flavorful and not bland. Noodles were not overcooked. I ordered the beef, and it came out to be a combination, like the dac biet at other restaurants. Good portion of different meats and it didn't taste old or rubbery. Overall, great lunch spot for Vietnamese food.

I am thoroughly disappointed. I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken soup. Do you see the pictures? I got white rice with some old and dried pieces of chicken thrown on top and it's not seasoned. The chicken soup is ugh, bland and tasteless. Never, not ever plan to eat here again. 👎

Ordered about $60 worth of food through the app. 1st time I visit this location. Was surprised how my order was complete and correct and great service!!!

Terrible service. Last night, after 20 minutes of not serving me, and me alone in line, the manager and employee gave me an open Uber Eat delivery package, even though they know those packages are sealed.

I ordered a 10 piece Buffalo wings which were dry and chewy. I also ordered the large plate with chicken and broccoli, Mongolian beef, bourbon chicken and salt and pepper shrimp (which was the best thing on the plate) but everything is reminiscent of Panda so if you like Panda you’ll like this. It doesn’t have as much variety also.

Order thru Uber eats, food was VERY Dry like all food has juice like it's just dry meat with oily residue, No forks and no chilli sauce and to much soy sauce. The coconut shrimp was alright, Never again I love Chinese food and I'm so disappointed

I am a truck driver, I place an order by phone to come by and they deliver my order wrong because supposedly that is what they hear, apart from that I asked for over easy egg and flour tortilla, please the person who takes the orders should be more responsible and check what the kitchen delivers to do their job well, this happened to me today 10/01/2025 at 7:30 pm

Excellent service and delicious food, very spacious and great atmosphere for sure. One of the delightful staff that I had the opportunity to meet. Manager Elvin Fuentes is very attentive and helpful, bartender Emelin was very nice and super attentive as well. We ordered a Boquita Mixta to dine in and we really liked it, super delicious. Also we ordered two Baleadas especial to go for our grandkids ( They absolutely enjoyed it!)

Weekend ... Something for everyone, 8 Buffet Displays with Chicken, Beef, Pork, fish, Crab, Sushi, Salad, Desserts, Fruit and lastly .... 8 Flavors of delicious HARD Ice Cream including Butter Pecan 😋 🥳 Show up at 11am for the Freshest food. I enjoyed all the Chicken dishes. Clean and roomy.

We ate here today and it was surprisingly bad. We waited for a long time before they even acknowledged us to be seated and they weren’t even that busy considering it was 12:30 on Sunday. When we were finally seated we were dismayed to find the food was completely stale and everything seemed pretty old or tasted weird. The quality was poor and I would say definitely overpriced. They even want you to pay extra to get ice cream that is located alongside the buffet. The main issue however is their food quality standards have sank so low we will not be coming back.
