CWOK is the classic fast food Chinese takeout place: you can get a lunch special for about $8 a person, and the special includes fried or steamed rice, a soup, and an entree - available Monday through Friday, 11am to 3pm. The inside of the restaurant is pretty much trashed. Chairs stacked against one side, and a general look of neglect and disrepair. You really don't want to dine in, trust me. They do have a fish tank! The food is pretty good, especially for the price. Portions are fairly generous, and I tries the Hunan Beef lunch special, which was spicy and good. Came with wonton soup and a fortune cookie. Overall, this is a decent place for takeout. Good prices, fast and courteous service, and fairly good food.

It's pretty okay, just very expensive. I was skeptical because of past ratings with bugs but I didn't see any, so I'll give them credit for that. The soup had decent flavor, the chicken was kind of stringy, and had too much breading. The rice was a little dry. The bag of wonton chips were laughable and not enough. Overall it was alright in flavor but not in price.

Pei Wei deserves a solid five stars for its consistent quality and delicious food! Every time I visit, the service is fast, friendly, and efficient, even during peak hours. The menu offers a great variety of Asian-inspired dishes, and everything I’ve tried has been spot on, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Their signature orange chicken is always crispy and perfectly tangy, and the honey-seared chicken is another go-to. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. The ambiance is casual but clean and inviting, perfect for a quick meal or even a relaxed sit-down experience. I also appreciate how accommodating they are with dietary preferences, offering plenty of options for gluten-free or low-carb eaters. Pei Wei is a reliable spot whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend if you're craving quick, delicious, and satisfying Asian cuisine!

I changed my original 3 stars to 5 due to the exceptional services from this lady named Mashon who was so patient, sweet and gentle taking everyone order. She remaims calm and composed regardless how many customers in front. I've been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks and was served by her, completely exceptional. Too bad Peiwei does not allow tips, otherwise this is what tips are for, excellent services.

I've been craving shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken for the past 2 weeks. This place was great everything was fresh. I'll definitely be back.

In spite of the reviews and my better judgement, I gave this place a shot. I was on a long shift at work and was really wanting some Chinese food. BIG MISTAKE ordering from this place! The combination lo mein was disgusting, no flavor, hardly any veggies in it. I asked for it spicy and there was no spice, it wouldn't have helped anyway. Absolutely disgusting. I would advice you to NOT order here under any circumstances. I would have been better off with chips and a coke. Big waste of money. Food got trashed.

Had a good experience here. Was reluctant at first due to the bad reviews but the food and service exceeded my expectations. The portion size is way bigger than panda express by far and items like the chicken egg roll is cheaper compared to panda. Food was steaming hot and I was full half way through my meal. Will definitely come back here whenever I'm in the area

Disgusting 🤮 Rice taste yuck, the worse rice I have ever tried. I don't know how many times they used the oil. Wasted of money.

Tried this place for the first time last week and I loved it! Got it again today and it’s even better than before. Their spicy dumplings are soooo good! Spicy but very flavorful. The veggies in my happy family were so fresh. Even the chicken nuggets I ordered for my son were homemade. Definitely my new favorite spot!

China Lake - Rowlett, TX The interior of the restaurant feels a bit run-down and could definitely use some refreshing and a deep clean. I ordered the Mongolian beef, which, unfortunately, was overwhelmingly salty and quite ordinary overall. There wasn’t anything particularly remarkable about the dish—it was mostly rice, with a very skimpy amount of beef. They were generous with the rice, but I’d have preferred a better balance with the main ingredient. I definitely would be a bit apprehensive about what's waiting in the kitchen! A mess, an experiment gone wrong, or a stack of dirty dishes? Or maybe it's something more mysterious, like an unknown "creation" that I would rather not confront. In a nutshell ... my dining experience really missed the mark. It’s frustrating when a place with high expectations doesn’t live up to the hype. Whether it’s the food quality, service, or ambiance, sometimes the reality , or my experience, just doesn’t match the reviews. In my case I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Shanghai Dynasty 0

Shanghai Dynasty recently opened and we were excited to try this place out as there’s not many Shanghainese options available. This place wasn’t too busy when we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. The staff was really helpful in recommending dishes that fit our palate. There’s a good amount of seafood available and everything we ordered came out really tasty. One thing we appreciated is that they will cook your seafood in your preferred style. The prices are slightly elevated, but you’re paying a premium for some really good food.

Authentic Shanghai / Schezuan Chinese food that is a must try for all. It is a very authentic menu, much different from the typical American-Chinese restaurants. All items are freshly prepared, large shareable portions and super delicious. The place used to Tai Zhong and is now under new management and slightly modified menu. The new place is amazingly designed, well kept, clean and service is friendlier than Tai Zhong. They also have seating for large groups / families, like 3 or 4 private rooms for a different dining experience. Overall the place is super clean and is a must visit for some great Chinese food. Must try is the spicy fried chicken, fish in spicy soup, kung pao chicken, soup dumplings and fried rice.

Okay I read the reviews and still decided to come here. My head was POUNDING from not eating and being out all day. I know you can't mess up fried rice and if you do, get out the kitchen. Y'all this shrimp fried rice is good. I'm sitting in my car eating it now. I literally could not wait any longer. My head, is pounding okay. The rice needs a little soy sauce but that's fine. It's immaculate. The shrimp are juicy and flavorful. The rice is cooked to perfection. Nice veggies in there too. The portions are great! And it was $10. I like this.

This is not traditional Chinese food. I had the shrimp fried rice and orange chicken. The rice was flavorful, it was not authentic shrimp fried rice. It was more of a lightly fried rice. The orange chicken was not real orange chicken and some pieces were over cooked. The crab Rangoon was burnt. The egg roll was good.

I tried a premium side new one, the Firecracker Steak n Shrimp. Definitely not worth the money. The steak was chewy. I ordered a plate and appetizer for $16. The PORTION size was extremely small, only received two shrimp. The sesame chicken portion was small as well. The noodles were stale tasting. I could have eaten at an all you can eat Chinese buffet for more food and better quality. People stop wasting money on takeout, especially this place and location.

I always come to this Panda, I've always asked for a small glass for the drink, because I usually drink less than half of the drink, but I've never been limited to serving me one drink before. The person who attended to me at the cashier told me that i could only serve me water and not any other drink.I must say that the woman is Hispanic like me. Terrible service from that woman.

I ordered from this restaurant from Uber Eats for the first time tonight. They followed all my veggie removal requests and the food was so delicious! The wonton soup wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was still refreshing. The Mongolian beef was delicious and the perfect amount of spicy! I will definitely order again and directly from the restaurant so they make the most profit. 🙂

This place is freaking amazing. Our server made slight adjustments to our order so we could have EXACTLY what we wanted how we wanted. He did everything he could to make this an amazing experience for us. The restaurant was quiet but they had a relaxing lounge piano track for calming ambience. They have some amazing options like passionfruit sweet tea and homemade carrot cake!!!! 🥕 For sure give this place a try. They deserve it, the staff is really good hardworking and professional.

This has got to be the absolute WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had in my 54 years. I’ve been sick for five days with no food or water so I wanted egg drop soup and king pao chicken. It tasted like retirement home food and I know this because I worked in senior care for years! It wasn’t spicy AT ALL! And don’t even get me started on their version of what they are calling “fried rice” this place is a f’ing joke. Called to tell them my issues with my order hoping they’d say bring it back in and we will remake it. Nope! Just told it is what it is! Never eating here again. Howling this review saves someone else from a horrible, barely palatable experience.as you can see the full plate went straight in the trash can!

Food was amazing and ready within ten minutes and SUCH a good price! Loved the royal chicken & Mongolian beef. Just wish the fried rice was as great as the rest, no veggies or eggs. Similar to white rice with soy sauce.

Location is very clean an very welcoming regardless of we're it's at . The food was perfect 🤤 it didn't disappoint 🤠 at least not me but be ur own critic an check them out.

So the only reason why I gave it a 4 star on the food is that+yes I know it's such a small non deal breaker reason) is that when you add sauces to be included with your order in the app somehow it always never reaches the bag and being fair it's just not at this location. Now the food, I ordered the bigger plate and I love honey walnut shrimp so I have to get it everytime there's always more walnuts than shrimp and I'd love to get more of the sauce but I usually make my own. The Beijing beef, most of the pieces were tender and it's really hard to describe the taste but it's good. The new item Chili Crisp Shrimp is good, somewhat spicy and was delicious but it needs even if it's on the side some kind of sauce since it can give a dry feeling if you just eat just it. I love their chicken egg rolls and the veggie spring rolls and would love to keep a case of each in my freezer that being said I tried their new apple pie egg rolls and a case of them in my freezer please. The flavor is great and I love that they're tossed in a cinnamon sugar mix (be ready for a little messy) The only downside is they're called egg rolls but they're the size of the spring rolls. I will say that if you have these hot and dip them in vanilla ice cream they are amazing. Delivery was really quick and food was hot. Thanks!!!

Total hidden gem this place was amazing got a ton of food for like 40 bucks. The BBQ spare ribs were amazing also some of the best Mongolian Beef I've ever had very flavourful and they definitely don't skimp on meat like lots of cheap places. All the food was outstanding!!!!

Their charbroiled teriyaki was amazing (not overly sweet), husband's Mongolian was full of flavor and wasn't dominated by onions like a lot of places do. They definitely hand-make their eggrolls, but the chefs kiss was the bbq ribs appetizer. Portions were great and everything was offardable. Even the sides of fried rice were good. 10/10
