Panda Express
The disrespect to customers that are waiting inside of the lobby to be served is super disrespectful. I was standing there waiting to make my order. I seen him getting very low on items, and I was standing there waiting and waiting until they ran out of everything right before my eyes and after waiting 15 minutes, they told me to wait for other fresh food would take about seven minutes Because they were gonna close the inside of the lobby, which was Very unscrupulous because I was already inside of the restaurant, waiting to be served so after spending a little over $13, you guessed it the food was not fresh at all and a waste of my money. It’s understandable that you’re about to get ready to close the lobby. What’s your drive-through is about to close? It’s very unacceptable to not continue putting out fresh food as long as the restaurant is open thank you panda express for the way I was treated as a valued customer.
This location is normally a hit or miss. The last few times I came, it was okay. But today was a good day! I was able to get in and out. Went around 8 pm and was able to go straight to the ordering menu. There wasn't a wait at all. The portion size, taste, and temperature of the food were on point. The reason for my review is that the customer service was wonderful. Ms. Sovatta was so nice. Her bright and beautiful spirit was just a good way to end my day. She greeted me and asked if I needed to add any additional items to my order. Asked if I wanted any condiments and thanked me for being a valued customer. Just the little bit that she did in a short period of time was a great way to end my night from a hard day at work. For Ms. Sovatta positive attitude alone is one of the main reasons I will come back to this location. Job well done. We need more people like her.
Imperial China Diner
Generally I enjoy the Orange Chicken from this establishment. My family are frequently placing orders for home delivery and the quality & portion sizes are abundantly great. Today because I am at a hotel and honestly didn’t think to order direct, instead I used Uber. HUGE Mistake as the quantity was less and my brown rice had clumps of soggy white rice. Regardless of how an order is placed, in restaurant, direct delivery or third party delivery there should not be ANY deviation in what a customer receives. #disappointed
Living in West Pearland, it’s challenging to find good food, so I was hopeful this spot would become one of my go-to takeout places. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. The sign on the door said “takeout only,” so I decided to give it a try since I was in the area. I ordered a few specialties, like Happy Family, based on online recommendations. While everything was edible, the food was bland, overly starchy, and had a gummy texture. Sadly, most of it ended up in the garbage. I never thought I’d say this, but Panda Express is 100 times better. The egg drop soup, in particular, was disappointing—filled with clumps of egg yolks and egg whites that made me a bit queasy. Overall, it’s a hard pass for me. Off putting customer service.
Pearl Dynasty
At Pearl Dynasty, you will experience a great variety of fresh and delicious food. Their staff is Friendly and courteous, and you will like their comfy & warm atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. 🏆🏆
My wife and i had this delivered after a long afternoon of errands. Best General Tso Chicken I have had in years! Egg rolls are decent, just too much pork for my taste. The dumplings were good, but their sauce had a weak flavor. The fried rice was decent but nothing special. I'm was not a real fan of the Crab Rangoon. Enjoyed the soup and was told the chow main was great.. It arrived fast, and it is worth trying if you like General Tso!!
Panda Express
I bought 2 sets of family meal and another large entree ( teriyaki) today, 6/9/24 around 7:30 pm. ( Panda Express Shadow Creek Ranch - Pearland TX). I observed the server was so stingy in filling up the to go boxes. (per instruction I think- this is Panda Express standard of serving now? ) After I paid, I asked why the boxes were not filled full, the server said ‘do you want me to fill it full? my response was . “No, I will just give a bad review.”
This location was so kind and amazing. They fixed a mistake that a different location made when they totally didn’t have to. Definitely made my night better, I appreciate it so much, big thanks to Lee!
Timmy Chan’s
This particular Timmy Chans is trash. They're selling the lowest quality of chicken when it comes to the wings. Wings will be dark in certain areas because its fried blood in the chicken. Check your fries before you leave, they sell old fries that have been sitting. Southwest Frwy location is much better.
This place reminded me of my NYC Chinese spots. The food was very good. I enjoyed the wings (very huge) and the fries. The chicken and fries were seasoned to the gods. The coolaid was bomb as well. Despite some negative reviews about this place and I was skeptical about going, the food was not bad. Ordered through the drive thru, so I didn't have much interaction with the staff. Food was made how I wanted with no problems. They couldn't cut my wings in half like they do in New York, but it was all good.
Tang's Kitchen
Tang's Kitchen is a place for some quick and good comfort food. I typically order to go. I'm writing this review about the one time I came in with my family for dinner. The place is usually not crowded and that's because I think most of their business is takeaway. The place has a pleasant decor. Nothing too flashy. we were greeted by the waitress when we came in. The place was quite open so we picked a table we wanted. The wait time was just about 5 minutes or so to get the food. It was hot and prepared to order. I liked the taste. I prefer spicy food so I picked something from the menu that was spicy. Overall, the food and the service is good. Nothing stands out as spectacular but it's a good place to stop by.
I ordered my food over the phone, and the woman who took my order was very nice. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, I was immediately hit by the overwhelming stench of trash. The dumpster right next to the door was wide open, overflowing with all kinds of garbage, including rotting noodles scattered around it. A DoorDash driver nearby also stopped in disgust and mentioned that she had brought it to the staff’s attention, but nothing had been done. I decided to leave without picking up my order. As a former bakery owner, I always made sure our dumpster area was clean and the gate was securely closed. We have to do better, guys.
Silverlake Hunan
Had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant. We had the Hunan Beef and Panang Beef (Thai Style). The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The beef in both dishes was tender and tasty. The restaurant was spotlessly clean.
All these 5 stars about the food being good must either be fake/bought or these people must have not had good Chinese food before. This has got to be some of the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted in my entire life. If you are looking to come here, don't even bother. The Honey Walnut Shrimp looked like roaches, it was fried twice with so much batter. The Panang beef looks like someone just barfed all over it and even tastes like it (sour and acidic). The chow mein was extremely dry and tasted frozen from a grocery store. The only good thing was the kind server. He was extremely patient and gentle. Props to him, shame on the owner and cooks.
Panda Express
Panda Express is my favorite food and my favorite restaurant of Panda Express to go is this one at Burton Creek Square. It’s very clean the food is delicious and you will receive excellent customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much for your kindness Ajit
I’m giving always 5 stars for panda food quality but I just visited this location at 3:30 pm today their out of kind of beside orange chicken everything else when I ask for manager I talked to him. It’s 3:30 PM not your closing time. What’s going on here? Anyway after I waited for long time guy work there with Professor's beard and serving food he was kind of mad and tried giving me food less than normal tea standard dishe, always I get thanks panda we want you stay in business and please training that location manager, that guy could be professional and focusing to customer care
Bamboo Bistro Westgate
Literally the best orange chicken I have ever had. Better than any sit down restaurant Chinese food I’ve had in AGES. Like since I was a kid back in Seattle.
The appetizers were yummy (especially the shrimp, it had a fluffy texture to it). The General TSO is my usual safe choice but we had the basil wings as well (very interesting + savory) and Shanghai Beef (a bit tough in my opinion but the sauce was very good). Portions are pretty big, if you are a light eater then I would recommend to not order much or be prepared to take some to go.
Panda Express
It’s funny that this place has 5 star reviews. Pay attention to the names of the 5 star reviewers. Similar to that of the manager. . . Certainly a “Hey! We’re getting a lot of bad reviews. Can you and your friends leave some “fake” good ones to boost our rating” kinda of vibe. Anyway, The young dark haired blonde girl was rude (as usual). Always seems to not want to be there (pretty standard these days since Covid. Businesses seem to have their D team working). Seems like she’s entitled and forced to get a job by her parents, or mad at the world and taking it out on customers. This girl purposely gave me small portions because I asked for my teriyaki to be cut smaller. She got an attitude, went to the back for a while, heard a bunch of dishes, pans, etc being moved around, violently. Some even dropped on the floor. When she came back, wasn’t even sure the cutting board was clean (didn’t look like it) or knew if she picked it up off the ground. I ordered 3 items because her portions were so small. The people that came in after me ordered 2 items and had almost half a plate more than I did. Sick of this girl. I get attitude EVERY SINGLE TIME from her. Previously, she refused to chop the meat into smaller pieces. This girl should not be employed until she straightens up her attitude. The food itself has taken a deep dive. I used to like coming to panda every few weeks, but with the quality of employees couple with the lazy prep of the food by people who don’t want to be there is really putting this chain in dire straights. I see bankruptcy in the future. I would really suggest panda hire people that need their jobs and want to be there. I get it, there wouldn’t be very many people working if it weren’t necessary, but if I treated my clients like panda employees treat regular customers, I’d be homeless. I’m done with this chain. It was half descent while it lasted.
Great staff, Yorgelis was friendly & the food was hot and ready. The orange chicken was gone and the cook had the next batch ready to go. Some Panda Express will have the orange chicken not available for hours!!!
Asia Chinese Restaurant
Seat yourself but prompt greeting dimmed lighting but very clean , wasn’t very busy at all but they have a spacious seating area and a large tv in the area. No fountain drinks 🥤 but they offer can beverages and tea had the shrimp spring rolls for appetizer they were very fresh and had a good taste the peanut butter sauce was mid could use a little more flavor. The service was great they checked on us at least 3 times and asked if we were okay or needed anything else bilingual service as well. For my entrée I got the chicken with vegetables in a brown sauce and steamed rice the food was served nice n hot good portions and very tasty vegetables were cooked correctly and still crispy, the brown sauce was flavorful and no to salty the rice was cooked well and fluffy. The have a variety of dishes and cost 💲 is 10-12 per person with dinner combos that include eggroll and soup 🥣…. Definitely going back.
Food here is not even mediocre. The only other negative review I have EVER left was due to food poisoning. I did not get sick from this food but I will NEVER Go here again because Hunan Lion is just 3 miles away and is 10 times better than this garbage they are calling food. I have eaten at this restaurant 3 times because I like to try new things and I just thought I would order something different but every Single time I have been disappointed. I will be honest and admit that I may be a bit of a food snob but really if you are going to have a restaurant, the food should at least be "OK" and not just wrong. Seriously who puts corn in Egg drop soup? And why does this taste like it was cooked with the hot and Sour Soup? I am always trying new resturants in Austin, especially Chinese. At the time of this writing I will Never go to Asia Chinese again because if I am in this area I can go to Hunan Lion, and if I dont mind driving a little I can go to Din Ho, or Ho Ho Chinese. Those are my 3 favorites right now. Try those, don't waste your tastebuds here.
China Harbor
I have been to 3 different Chinese restaurants and this is by far the best one. Food was hot and they continued to fill when it was empty. Very clean and appealing
Everything what you ask for $14 + tax Chinese buffet. People are nuts to ask too much for what you pay. Could do a little bit more cleaning for the place but it was not bad. We had a good time, decent food, friendly staff. The styrofoam plate is expected, but I understand why they do it. People took tremendous amount of plates and don’t even finish their foods. That would be a lot of dishes to wash. A lady that seems to be a manager or owner was nice enough to let us try the sample before purchasing the buffet. That was appreciated. We left full they got fried foods, snacks, entrees, noodle section, sushi, Mexican snacks, and dessert. Don’t forget to tip the server too!
