Panda Express
I had the grilled chicken teriyaki bowl with suoer greens as the base. Food was a little cold. The lady that started my order was nice. The guy that checked me out was rude. He did not ask if I was a member of the rewards club and had already pushed the pay button. I informed him that I was part of the rewards club, and he had an attitude about scanning the reward.
Came in during a lunch rush and not only did we immediately receive our food, we were immediately greeted & met with excellent service. Food was fresh and tasty! Honestly I’m not use to amazing service from Panda but was very impressed with this location.
Backyard on Broadway
I had an amazing experience! The drinks were fantastic, and the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding—especially the chicken tenders paired with some of the best fresh ranch I’ve ever had. The pizza was also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place, though it can get a bit crowded at times. Definitely worth a visit!
Backyard on Broadway is an absolute gem! This place perfectly blends great food, a warm atmosphere, and family-friendly vibes. The menu was packed with flavorful options, and everything we ordered was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff truly went above and beyond. From the moment we walked in, they were friendly, attentive, and eager to make our experience enjoyable. They even helped accommodate our picky eater with a smile—such a rare find these days! But the real star of the show? The amazing playground and patio setup. As parents, it’s a dream to have a spot where the kids can safely play while we relax and enjoy a meal. The playground is well-designed, clean, and engaging, keeping our little one entertained for hours. Meanwhile, the spacious patio offered a relaxed, chic vibe perfect for catching up with friends or unwinding after a long week. Whether you're out for family dinner or just a casual hangout, Backyard on Broadway strikes the perfect balance. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a true treasure!
E J China Bistro & Sushi
So went in and ordered for me and my family. After we ordered and payed we got informed of the family deals. Kinda late to mention that but oh well. The food wasn’t good unfortunately. The pork was dry for the sweet and sour pork. Like hard as a rock almost. The plate I had tasted fishy and it wasn’t even fish. Only one plate came out good. The soup was just oil pretty much. I wish I checked the reviews.
It had been several years since my last visit here, and I honestly didnt remember much of my previous experience. I visited late in the evening, for a last minute meal. I decided to order the combo, so I could try more than one item, and ultimately neither item I got was impressive, and both were what I would consider decent. I ordered the dinner combo, with general chicken and beef with garlic sauce. Service The food came out after a little bit, along with my soup, my drink and everything else. Nothing was brought out while I was waiting for the entrees to arrive. Portion Size The portions were huge, and I knew immediately I would need a to go box. When the waitress brought the food and said "anything else I can get you?" I said "a to go box".. she was confused a bit, but explained it wasnt because they took a bit, its because theres no way I could finish that much food. Food Flavor The general chicken was a bit dense, the cubes of chicken were tender, but overly large, and the batter on the pieces was soggy, with no crispness, and a more vinegary style sauce. The beef with garlic sauce was unimpressive a well, it had a very vinegary flavor, almost like there was so much garlic it gave the sauce a sour flavor. I saw other food come out with comparable portion sizes Everyone received portions that required to-go boxes reguardless of the item. For the price, the portions are enough to split between 2-3 people, but finding an item that is good flavor wise might take some exploring of the menu. Overall Impression I was neither impressed or turned off by the experience. This was one of those average experiences. The food was priced decently well for the portion sizes, the flavors were decent, but not impressive, and the menu had a huge selection of items. I feel like something here has to be really good, but the general chicken was one of the most mentioned items in the reviews and I felt it fell short.
The Indian Night
My experience at The Indian Night restaurant was disappointing. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel welcome, as one of the attendants had a notably grumpy attitude. The food, unfortunately, didn’t make up for the poor service—it was average at best. The naan was overpriced, and the paneer tikka masala was overwhelmingly flavored with garlic which overshadowed any other taste and was just a tomato puree with some pieces of paneer in it, which. Not to miss the dirty restroom. Overall, it fell short of expectations both in terms of hospitality and culinary quality.
The food and service were over the top. I have to have Chicken Tika Masala when I try a new Indian place, theirs ranks 5 out of 5 stars. The sauce was plentiful and full of flavor, the chicken was tender and tasty, some places it's a little dry, not here! I was asked how spicy I wanted it, I Like that alot, since I share with my wife, medium heat was required. The garlic naan was just right and was enhanced being dipped into the masala sauce. The veggie samosas were large and very tasty, lot's of veggie filling inside a nice crisp crust. We tried a "new to us" item, a veggie pakora, onion to be exact, onion Bujia......where has this been all my life?! Yum. A short walk from our hotel led us to Indian cuisine nirvana.
McDonald's
01/15/25 Avoid this McDonald's at all cost! To start off, they gave me the wrong order (I ordered 2 Big Mac Meals) they gave me yes, one Big Mac and a Delux McCrispy Meal, to top it off the chicken was RAW and COLD. Called & spoke to the manager and he offered to replace the meal. But that is not the point. There are several employees doing one job, drive-through, cashier, and whoever is in charge of the kitchen or cooking, which I'm assuming they must be certified to do that job ONLY. Manager, you also need to be coached on how to manage a store.
I live between two other McDonald's, but I travel a couple of miles to visit the McDonald's at Somerset and SW Military Dr. under the management of Keely. Great friendy and fast service. Love enjoying my breakfast here!!!
King Cajun
The food is really good! The service is fantastic. The prices are super! I was so hungry I didn't get a better picture! 😩🤭The 🍄 mushrooms are delicious!🤤🥴😩
First time eating here it's in south park mall at the end of the food court. I had a 2 plate combo with noodles. Got the beef and broccoli and the orange chicken...the beef and broccoli was decent but the sauce was a bit much, the noodles were good and soft but the orange chicken stole the show the flavor was great and the chicken was super tender got an pork egg roll as well and the guy threw in a Chinese donut. Egg roll was nothing to write home about but the donut was nice and soft perfect sugar to dough ratio. The large soda is just that a actual large not a mall large which is actually a medium...all that for 16 and some change I actually left full and I'm a big guy
Teriyaki Madness
Very disappointed, ordered two bowls with orange chicken and both of them were burnt, not charred, actually burnt! I couldn’t eat all the pieces because it was excessively burnt and even if it’s only burnt on the bottom you taste it all throughout the chicken. I don’t know if it was because the food was ordered through Postmates which is why they chose to give us the burnt food instead of throwing it out or if they are just lazy. It’s ridiculous for us to pay money to support your business and you give us burnt food that tastes like pure charcoal as if it was free. And we paid more for it since it was delivery! Disrespectful to the customer and please believe the other reviewers when they say this is worst than Panda Express. Disgusting, will be reporting to Postmates on the quality, maybe that will get you to focus on quality instead of leaving replies to reviews when your restaurant clearly is not taking them into account. Oh and the broccoli was so hard it felt like a rock. Terrible, 1/10
Think of this restaurant as a much worse version of panda express. I ordered an orange chicken bowl with noodles and veggies and it was so bland. The texture of the noodles was confusing as well; they were not pleasant to chew through. I asked for a bottle of water but was given a fountain drink cup instead. When I went to fill it with water I noticed that the entire fountain drink area was being swarmed by fruit flies. It was so disgusting. It's also worth noting that my food was given to me to go even though I did not ask for it to go. It felt like I was being kicked out of the restaurant. I had lost my voice so I wasn't able to correct their mistake and ended up eating in my car. I can't recommend this place and will not be returning.
China Super Buffet
We learned that this restaurant has been under new management since early February 2025, and we decided to check it out for lunch today. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! We even had the chance to chat with the new owner. They're planning updates to the furniture, carpet, and paint very soon! Be sure to visit and support this local gem!
My mom who normally is very picky with her food really enjoyed her meal today! Sushi selection was very fresh and has good variety. The quality of food is superb and delicious. Will return to try the dinner buffet.
Fuwa
Amazing portions and amazing food! The servers were quick and awesome!!! Gave free samples and I didn’t feel pressured to buy afterwards but I did because it was so good! Only 25 for 2 entrees 2 with drinks and egg rolls !
They were very friendly, with awesome quality of food. Much better than thier competition. If at katy mills, theyre the best option for Chinese food.
Ling’s Restaurant
I typically order from their lunch menu. It is very reasonably priced for the amount of food that you get. For about $8 get the main dish, rice, choice of soup, and an egg roll. What I like most about Ling’s is that they actually include vegetables in their dishes, like a hearty amount of zucchini in the kung pao. I don’t know why so many other similar restaurants don’t include any sort of green vegetables.
I really wanted Won Ton Soup and some Ribs for lunch. I started scouring the Grubhub and doordash app for places. I also googled and looked on yelp to see reviews and such. I ordered through Grubhub and my food came in about 45 mins. I started on my ribs first. They had a great flavor but were a little bit too tough for me. The Won Ton soup looked really weird. I have never seen it come with Veggies but hey Veggies are good. When I tasted the juice, it was very bland and did not have the flavor of Won Ton soup at all. The wontons were mostly just the noodles. There were only 4 actual wontons and they were not filled at all, just a vey small amount of Pork in them. I was already dealing with the weirdness of the soup, but for it to be mostly noodles was a huge let down.
Taipei Express
I ate here three times within the last week. If you need a good Asian food fix and live close by, I recommend checking them out. I really like their shrimp in garlic sauce. Their wings are also really good. It has lots of meat on it, a nice crunch, and lots of flavor. Their prices are great. You can get a combo meal for around $7. Many dishes you can get for around $10. The portions are nice as well, and that's coming from a guy who can eat.
I’ve been here several times and it’s so good. The portions are good too. I normally just order for myself but I can stretch the food out for 3-4 days. It’s inexpensive as well. I definitely recommend it! I love the lo mein and the pepper shrimp. The wonton soup is all sooo good.
Imperial Hunan | Chinese Restaurant
They totally messed up my family’s order. I ordered shrimp vegetable with shrimp fried rice and look at what I got. SMH NEVER AGAIN!!! Food was dry and salty. If I could give a zero I definitely would. Tried calling the restaurant to correct order no one ever answered after many attempted calls.
One of the best restaurants with quality food. I’m not exaggerating when I say that imperial union has been a family tradition in my house for over 10 years. I thought the plates were big growing up but as I grew older the plates were still considered to be big. You get more than what you paid for here the orange chicken is delicious and you cannot beat their crab puffs. Also their staff is very hard-working, most fast food places were closed due to hurricane Nicolas but this business took precautions and the right measures, in order to keep their business afloat. They even have a generator to keep their kitchen going. Now that is a business I can get behind. The pricing is fair if not underpriced. Their food is really good, highly recommend. I ordered the Orange Chicken that came with a choice of steamed/fried rice. Also I bought some crab puffs because who doesn’t love them 🔥👅❤️
