King Cajun
The food is really good! The service is fantastic. The prices are super! I was so hungry I didn't get a better picture! š©š¤The š mushrooms are delicious!š¤¤š„“š©
First time eating here it's in south park mall at the end of the food court. I had a 2 plate combo with noodles. Got the beef and broccoli and the orange chicken...the beef and broccoli was decent but the sauce was a bit much, the noodles were good and soft but the orange chicken stole the show the flavor was great and the chicken was super tender got an pork egg roll as well and the guy threw in a Chinese donut. Egg roll was nothing to write home about but the donut was nice and soft perfect sugar to dough ratio. The large soda is just that a actual large not a mall large which is actually a medium...all that for 16 and some change I actually left full and I'm a big guy
Chinese Gourmet Express
Food has no flavor, half of the āchickenā was just breading that almost broke my tooth. Do not recommend eating here. The place should be shut down
I recently visited Chinese Gourmet Express and was happy with what I ordered. Despite the 2.9 overall, the food was actually quite tasty. I received a pile of food for a low price. Although I wouldn't call this gourmet, it was good mall food court Chinese. Maybe I just went on a good day, but I'd come back.
Chop Six
Mediocre experience today. Food overall tastes exceptional, in no way does it taste inedible. However, the food is very obviously frozen and possibly even freezer burned and you can tell by the taste. If thats a negative factor for you, you wont like it.
My family ordered beef and broccoli but we didn't get any broccoli at all, Then we also ordered Lo Mein as a side and We didn't get that either, And to make this the cherry on the top for a terrible place, The server helping us was very rude, giving us rude glances thinking we didn't see. I wouldnt even recommend this place to anyone at all, and to the owner of this place, please work better on your employees attitudes and the quality and accuracy of the food cause this was $92 and trust me me and my family are never ordering from you all againš
Sky bistro
Cashier in morning is always rude and rolls her eyes have a sign that states sanitary purposes only for employees to hand u a cup but employee handling money and passing out cups. The logic is not there. Glad this is my last day here at the bistro the cafeteria at university hospital is awesome
Today me and my family were visiting a family member in the hospital, we were hungry so we decided to try the Sky Bistro and let me just say when we walked into the Sky Bistro the food smelled so delicious. I got chicken tenders and fries and my kids got the cheeseburger with fries and the food was so good so hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend eating here they have pretty good amount of food options. There is also a small store gift shop in there and a small Starbucks so something for everyone especially you Starbucks lovers.
Di Primordine Pizzeria
We order a pizza last night, the top of it was burned and the dough undercook; drove to the place to ask for a refund, it was closed and nobody answered their three phone numbers that are displayed in social media and at the pizzeria“s marquee...by the way the sign reads "Fliping Pizza"...on Google Maps the photo of the place shows another name for the so called business (Big John“s Pizza). Obviously, I will get my $30 back; from what I can see, they could been preparing, I cannot say cook, the pizzas anywhere else and the address is just a facade; the address is the same as for "House of Pasta", "Flippin Pizza", "Rami“s Pizza #2", "The Calzone Faktory", "House of Wings", "The Pizza Peddler", "John“s Pizza Den, "House of Subs", and "Di Primordine Pizzeria. It is aside of a laundromat...I wonder if the real laundromat is this place.
WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT EAT HERE DO NOT ORDER delivery , or go in! Ordered uber eats: Didnāt receive many of my items and it said I paid for garlic bread , ranch, and chicken (which was ārequiredā on the salad ?? ) DIDNāT RECEIVE ANY DESSERTS I ORDERED. when I called a girl answered and all she could do was say sorry . WASTE OF MONEY !
Thai Hut
Very delicious!! Great food, great customer service, great management, and great overall experience!! My waitress Kayla was very attentive and very nice. Would highly recommend this new spot, will definitely be back!!
Very authentic. Good portion for the price
Sichuan House
The food at this restaurant is very unrecommended. We heard from our friends that this place is good so we came to this restaurant with high expectations. Drove almost half an hour to get here. I have to say the service is very good. But the food is really not recommended. The chicken was fishy like leftovers. The fish was just ok but not very fresh fish either. The cumin lamb was average. The garlic baby bok choy was great. I like this one. The waiter was very nice and caring. At first we were allowed to sit at a small table but because we ordered a little too much we were allowed to switch to a larger table. My friend and I were hungry so we had no choice but to keep eating we didn't want to waste it. Their food is as bad as pre-made dishes. All in all, the service is good but the food is not recommended.
1. No window shades so every time a car pulls in, ya sitting like a deer in blinding lights. #annoying 2. I ordered vegetable fried rice with tofu⦠take a look at the photo-not a single vegetable in the dish other than a few tiny pieces of chiveā¦. It was also very bland. I had to keep asking for duck sauce. 3. The Chinese broccoli dish was overly cooked with garlic and the huge chunks of vegetable were unappealing. 4. My mom asked for more water and didnāt realize the waitress had placed the pitcher on our table- the waitress pointed to it and basically said serve yourself. Itās not a pleasant experience when you have to ask for more water, napkins, duck sauce, etc and the place isnāt busy. I wound up giving all my leftovers to a homeless guy outside the restaurant who needed it more than I did. I hope he enjoyed the food, and I wished him a Merry Christmas.
Kung Fu Noodle
We went here on a whim because we passed by it all the time. It was very busy when we went and we had to wait probably less than 10 minutes we got seated and we did take a minute to look over the menu, the menu isnāt big, but I just didnāt know what sounded good. Theyāre known for their dumplings so we got the pork and chive dumplings. You get 20 dumplings for $10. We also got the veggie spring rolls which you get six for like four dollars those were amazing as well and then we each got an entrĆ©e. I got the beef bowl with the broth and my husband got the dry noodles with no meat we ended up switching because I liked his butter, but the beef broth was still really good. All in all we spent about $30 which was totally reasonably priced. Everything came out in a timely manner as well. 10/10 would come again and recommend!!
I had a hankering for some excellent noodles and came here after a friend's recommendation. The noodles are excellent, but the real reason to come is for the divine dumplings. We got the beef and noodles and pork and noodles. I'd say go with the pork. Soooo good! For spice level, you can order on a scale from 1 to 5. 3 isn't bad, but 4 ratchets up the heat. Ideally, they could go 3.5. But seriously, come for the dumplings. The dumplings are why I'll come back. It's an assuming place and easy to miss when driving in. Pay close attention or you'll drive right by.
T. Jin's China Diner
This was the first time we've eaten there. They do have very quick service. Staff is very friendly and attentive. But the food, at least the dish we had, was subpar. It's nothing that we'd have to go back. It was good, but not fantastic. Maybe if we go back, we'll have to try the chef specials. We were looking for a dish to share, nothing heavy that we could split between us.
Had a nice, casual dinner on a Friday night with my girlfriend. The atmosphere was great and the food was very delicious. Our waiter was also cool as he asked me if I was Filipino.
Ming's at Midtown
This place is awesome, first the food is spectacular. Youāre going to get really unique dishes, well balanced and fresh. The Sloopy fries are amazing, never had anything like that. Teriyaki bowl, crispy chicken was perfect, salty and great glaze with solid sticky rice. Miso soup was fantastic, and we got the Cubano buns, perfect amount of pickle and the steamed bun was fantastic. Also the manager welcomed everyone in as the entered, brought menus out to people who had sat outside as they sat and even brought their golden retriever a bowl of water, thatās great service
Nice little hipster joint for whenever you want to impress that art ho baddie you picked up at SAC without breaking your wallet. The sense of pompous snobbery is ever present as evident by the patrons that routinely transit this place. Excellent food and pricing is just right. If you're good fighting or are packing stainless steel, go ahead and park underneath the expressway and wait until the local pack of Venezuelans transients start harassing you for money - always a good opportunity to impress your girl as long as you play your cards right.
Golden Wok
Hadn't been in years nothing beats this beautiful atmosphere. Still a great place visually. Had the sweet n sour shrimp sp good big shrimp, grate portions. Orange Chicken cooked to perfection. Definitely a must!
My wife and I stopped for lunch in between appointments. The hostess messed up my name which is hard to do since I spelled it twice for her.š so when they called Eric we thought it was someone else. After seeing several people get seated that had come in after us I asked what was going on. The hostess acted like it was my fault. So no stars on the front end service. But our waitress was fabulous 5 stars and above. Since the ordeal getting seated had run us late and we had another appointment to get to we ordered the lunch specials. The eggdrop soup was middle of the road at best and the crispy noodles we ordered were dripping with grease, yuk! Worst iI have ever recieved at a restaurant!! The egg rolls and rice were good but nothing exceptional. My wife said her lemon chicken was really good though. My sweet and sour pork wasn't the worst but far from the best. The large chunks of pork were not tender and had to be cut into two or three pieces each. The sweet and sour sauce was some of the worst I have had, all sauce with almost no veggies/fruit. So while the food didn't kill us it didn't impress us either. This restaurant use to be exceptional when we would come into San Antonio, many years ago, but now it's just average at best. I know we won't be returning. Like i said the waitress was the only redeeming part of our meal.
King's Bowl Chinese Restaurant
They have a drive thru and it doesn't even take long to get your food. Food was quick and tasty. The egg drop soup was my favorite. Ordered the sweet n sour chicken and it does look more like lemon chicken but it was still good
I found my go to Chinese spot! The owners are nice, and they serve big portions at a good price. My favorite thing is the sesame chicken. I know someone reviewed it before, but it isnāt THAT spicy. Itās like mixed with chili oil, has as much of a kick as a black pepper corn. Super weird to tell a restaurant how their dish ought to be made. Other than that, almond chicken is great, and chicken fried rice is awesome.
