Sloppy Mo's
My kids and I came to Lost Nation Brewery to get some burgers for late lunch after skiing. We were given the Sloppy MO’s menu and were a bit surprised to see Chinese food options in a brewery. (We are Chinese and we are “a little picky” with Chinese food. My kids grew up spoiled by my wife’s homemade Chinese food.) We ordered wide noodles with lamb not knowing what we were getting ourselves into. When the food finally came out, we were fully blown away by the authentic taste and spice of the dish. It beats every noodle dish we had in Boston! Chef Mike (a white dude! :-)) later told us the noodle is homemade. And the lamb was extremely tasty too. We later added dry cumin chicken wings. The boys loved them as much as the noodles. By the way, Rustic Ale was also very good. We are so happy we bumped into this little pop-up kitchen at the brewery and we would highly recommend wide noodles with lamb if you appreciate spicy food.
Idk never been love the name
Cottage II
Reliable delicious authentic food at a reasonable price. The food is better than the prices would lead you to expect. And the portions are on the larger size. In NYC a meal of this quality would cost much more. The decor is nice. The focus is on the food. We always order too much when we eat there because we love to have the leftovers
I wrote a review earlier but didnt know how to add pictures. This place is beyond disgusting! The only reason why we ordered here is because Top China is temporarily close and we happen to pass by here. We ordered sesame chicken and beef with Broccoli.. we ended up throwing it out. We called to ask for a refund because the sesame chicken is nothing but fat. The woman said its "dark meat," no ma'am that's fat! The beef with Broccoli tasted like its just been heated up in the microwave, it still has clumps of sauce that didnt heat up evenly. The woman said they have never had a single complain. I should of read the reviews first before ordering here. Disgusting food, poor customer service. No wonder I've never seen this place pack.
Asian Express
20241206 Pretty good for Chinese Fast Food. I didn't like the rice, which was ok because I wasn't going to eat much of it anyway. The steamed dumplings were surprisingly good. The egg roll... wow! Not the typical ones at most Chinese fast food filled with cabbage. This one has veggies and pork. It was delicious! I would come back again if I'm in the area. It is conveniently located where I'm staying. Even my finicky pups loves the beef and broccoli.
Me and my friends come here whenever I'm in town, and it is BY FAR my favorite Asian restaurant so far!! I am super picky about my rice and egg rolls and spring rolls, and I love theirs!! The staff are extremely friendly. The portions are amazing, especially for the price! I always take home leftovers and regret not bringing home more every time. Love the atmosphere, food, and service! I would recommend this place to anyone!! (My personal go tos are the beef and mushroom, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, the donuts, the egg rolls, and the dumplings, and the hibachi steak, all super amazing 😽)
Bamboo garden Chinese restaurant
Get the General Tso's tofu and hot and sour soup! The tofu was cooked perfectly! I only wish their menu had eggplant as well as their sauces like curry, orange, etc. to be with tofu instead of meat. Absolutely get the tofu. It's seriously awesome.
Very odd experience at this restaurant. Let me start by saying there was no one, except workers, at the restaurant when we arrived. We seated ourselves & then realized we had to actually go to the counter to order our food. When the food was brought to us it was all in “to go” containers minus lids for the soup! We had to set up our plastic silverware & napkins. Let’s talk about the food now. We started with mixed wonton & eggdrop soup & it was served with the typical noodles to put in the soup. However, the noodles were stale but before I could say anything our meals were served so I pushed the soup aside. My husband ordered pork egg foo young which came with fried rice & gravy. I ordered shrimp lomein which also came w/fried rice & both came with egg rolls. At first sight, we were surprised to see all orientals working there yet the food was very Americanized (lots of peas, carrots, etc). We were skeptical about tasting the food as it looked very bland & unappealing. We finally tried our dishes & realized there actually was NO flavor whatsoever!! I’ve never had bland Chinese food!! When my husband grabbed the container of “gravy” it was very dark sauce that tasted like it should’ve been on the lomein not the egg foo young. This was our first experience with this restaurant & it will be our last! $40+ later we threw it all away!!! Needless to say, the little bit of tasting we did repeated on both of us all night!!!
New Fu Lins
really disappointing. cheap ingredients. my order came with bits of another dish, like they re-used the pan without washing. well I have a severe food allergy so now I am suffering thanks to their laziness. the leftover food is in the trash, where it belongs! please spare Mo Vegas the suffering of poor quality food. never again
TLDR: This is really good food. I usually don't like Chinese food. Given the option I will almost always choose something else and I end up eating Chinese only when someone else who likes it really wants it. The exception is Nu Fu Lin's. I really like this food and will try to pick some up whenever I'm in Morrisville. I've ordered fairly late on Christmas Eve the last two years and if there is ever a time and day I'd expect food from any restaurant to be sub-par, its late on Christmas. The food was still excellent on a day when I wouldn't begrudge any other restaurant having an off night. I highly recommend this place.
Wok N Roll
Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our food at Wok n Roll. Not only was the beef and broccoli flavorless but the beef tasted like it was boiled and not seared like it should be when you are cooking in a wok. It was very chewy and unfortunately was not good. The sauce was so lacking in flavor I needed to use tablespoon after tablespoon of soy sauce to make it palatable. The oil that our fried food was cooked in unfortunately did not seem fresh and tasted like it hasn't been changed in a while. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and the egg drop soup was decent and the white rice was acceptable. I am sad to be writing this considering how we do enjoy Chinese food, just wasn't worth the price.
No better and not too much worse than typical American-Chinese fare around these parts. Generally, the food and menu are carbon copies of other places. Some dishes are better than others. Just gotta test it out for yourself. Staff are nice. I wouldn’t say the customer service is excellent, but takeout Chinese isn’t generally the venue for that, so it met my expectations and I haven’t had any negative experiences. My biggest complaint is that their online menu is probably two years out of date. Prices have gone up by anywhere from $1-$4 per dish. So be prepared to pay more than expected if you’re researching the place online.
Green Dragon
Food was amazing and prepared perfectly on time. Plenty of sauces for my sauce drawer in the kitchen. Crunchy on the general tso was perfect. The price compared is perfect too
Wonderful restaurant for very cheap! My partner and I have a favorite Chinese restaurant back home and this one was nearly identical in quality. When we visit Vermont again, we will totally stop here!
Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille
This review is for the Tea in the Parlor Cars experience. We enjoyed this experience overall. There was plenty of delicious sandwiches and pastries, and the tea was very good. The atmosphere is also wonderful because of the luxurious vintage parlor cars, especially paired with the vintage tea sets. However, I am deducting a star because the service lacked a bit. It took a while for the staff to come around after we finished the tea in our teapot, so there was a lot of waiting with no tea in our teacups. But we were eventually able to try 3 flavors. Overall, I would recommend this experience if you love tea and are looking for something unique to do!
A perfect place for special dinners including birthdays & anniversaries, but it’s also a great date night for couples. The main dining room is beautiful (sit upstairs if you can and enjoy the chandelier and stain glass ceiling) I love the old world elegance (but not stuffy) decor with dark wood & cozy leather booths. If you are lucky, the live piano will add to the ambiance. Service is always attentive. Steaks are excellent, fish is good. Be sure to get the mashed potatoes and onion strings on the side. Start with the BTL salad or tuna tartar. Save room for dessert, too.
Masago Japanese Cuisine
I’m really disappointed to say that Masago has let me down. The food was good as always but the quality of service has become beyond poor. The woman that was our server basically rolled her eyes at us at every request (like asking for a cup water) and gave no responses. Then, when we went to pay we were told we have to pay an 18% tip which was not deserved by the quality of service. We also were not a big group, just two, which is unusual to have a required tip for a small party. Please get new servers.
Can't beat the cash prices and the sushi is really good! Great selection of rolls and I've tried most of them now. Highly recommend the Sunshine or Tiger Rolls in particular. Great service, as well! The staff are always really nice to us and our friends. Been coming here for a few years now and will keep coming back! Take out or dine in, can't go wrong. You'll probably wait a bit to be seated if you come btwn ~6:30-8pm on a weekend.
Malay Morristown
Holy moly everything was delicious! We got the green curry with chicken and the drunken noodles with chicken and both were incredible. We also got a side of coconut rice because we needed more rice for the size of the dish and wow, what a combination! The portions were huge and a great deal for the money. Can’t say enough great things about this place!
Food was excellent and well priced. Service was great and we didn't feel rushed even as the restaurant filled up. Several vegetarian options and roti canai was exceptional. Will definitely come back again!
Aikou Restaurant
Exquisite sushi. Very well prepared Asian fusion food. Tasty to look at and delicious to the palate. My husband and I enjoyed the yummy yummy, the Rock and Roll. toffu. and the best fried ice cream for dessert. I give it 5 stars... for everything.
After the outdoor art show on the lawn, my partner and I gathered quite an appetite and decided on Aikou on the busy South Street in Morristown. Their menu is inspired by the promise of Asian fusion cuisine, such as Japanese, Thai, and Chinese foods. We don't know too much about sushi, but there are plenty from which to choose. The interior was huge and contemporary, and the tables were well-spaced. All patrons, including ourselves, sat outside on a warm spring afternoon, people-watching as we ate our meals. As for starters, we shared their scallion pancakes, which were not greasy, and the filling was tasty with a rice wine and soy mixture. For entrees, we ordered crispy sesame chicken and chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai had a slight kick. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. The prices were a bit higher than at other Asian places, but the quality of their food was worth it. Their servers were attentive without being overbearing. We can recommend this place.
Let's Noodle
We really enjoyed our first experience at Let's Noodle. We got Dan dan noodles, pork dumplings, pork buns, and the kimchi slaw. Everything was very tasty and we loved the assortment of sauces that came with. I especially liked the scallion pesto. The service was very pleasant and accommodating. The space is very informal, but clean. We would definitely return.
The braised beef noodle was heaven! It was flavorful without being salty at all. The meat was properly tender and enjoyable to eat. Generous serving, too! Finally got to try this place, and it did not disappoint. From friendly and helpful staff, bright and vibrant dining area to tasty and freshly prepared noodle dishes. The staff truly enhanced my dining experience when what I ordered did not meet my expectations, she immediately offered to replace it. I felt valued as a customer. Would definitely come back!
