A simply decorated but cozy dining area. You have to order from the counter area and they call out your dish when it's ready. The price for my chicken and vegetable lunch was only $8.50 and it was a generous portion. I will go back again to try more dishes.

While the food tasted good, my Chicken Mei Fun had a bunch of mildew on the cabbage/lettuce. 😷

This was a typical Asian buffet. Food was what I expected. The hibachi was done very well, kudos to the guy working it that night. Only issue was the waitress kept hovering over the check, my mom is old and eats slow so she was offended by that. I read other reviews before I went so I kind of expected something like that was going to happen. The restaurant might want to take action as it seems to be affecting the overall reviews.

The food was good. Prices for buffets are just so expensive and I tipped because I feel like they do get you your drink so they are still serving you. Overall I'd recommend but the price wasn't my favorite.

I absolutely love eating here. I eat here probably two or three times a week. The food is always fresh and if it isn’t, then I just let them know and they actually remake it for me. They are all very polite and have wonderful customer service.

Food was lacking at this location during the time I went. Seemed like it was overcooked or reheated. It definitely didn't seem as fresh as it was in the pans when you ordered. The employees were on point and very polite. Good place over all.

Typical Chinese restaurant, but worst sweet and sour chicken I have ever had. All fried outside, barely enough chicken to flavor. Like a french fry, but not as long. I’m boggled, definitely won’t order here again.

Lady was super friendly and sweet, but.... Worse chinese food ever. My spring roll was mushy inside. My chicken and broccoli wasn't in any kind of sauce, it was pure water. My wonton egg drop soup broth was thick like mucus. And flavorless. The wonton was edible but not great. More noodle than meat. The shrimp in my shrimp lo mein was mushy too. Very disappointed. Will not recommend or go back. Waste of $40

Egg roll was burnt. Teriyaki chicken was burnt. Chow Mein noodles were under cooked, or maybe just old. North Broadway location is MUCH better!

Absolutely horrible food. Was burnt super bad and old like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Waited about 20 to 30 minutes when I was the only one in the drive through line and there were like 3 pieces of orange chicken. Kids were cussing and playing around to much in the back. DON’T TAKE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Expensive. I ordered a 1. mixed vegetable I specifically asked that the vegetables in the photo would be in this order (look @the photos) VERY disappointed. I paid $10.49 nothing but broccoli, onions, green peppers and a few shavings of carrots. 2. shrimp w-garlic sauce it had 3 pieces of shrimp then I paid an extra $2 to turn my side (white rice) to fried rice ended up with white rice drenched in soy sauce with onions! $12.49. Finally 3. Singapore chow mei was the only thing I could say was worth it $11.49 with white rice. VERY disappointing. I do not recommend this place. Wasted almost $40

Fried rice is barely fried, if at all. Also there was no pork in it. It's almost translucent with barely any flavor. The prices they charge is ridiculous. Where I'm from in CT, cost of living is much more... yet Chinese food especially is about $1-2 cheaper on combos and in general and that INCLUDES fried rice that is actually fried! Pictures of pricing for comparison: 1st is in CT where I ordered from as a regular. 2nd is Chen Garden

This was the first time I ate at 1 and it'll be the last time I eat at 1. The place was awful. They had food all over the floor tables. Weren't clean the food? I can't even say enough about the food it was. Terrible They had a bunch of empty stuff. They didn't have no green beans, which is what I really love. I love green beans with some chicken. They didn't have any of that. Everything that we wanted, my friend, and I were like. Oh, we'll have to wait 9 minutes, 13 minutes and it's like. Oh, my gosh We came in there for a quick lunch. And it was just terrible, very disappointed for my very first time, ever going . I did end up getting some chicken which was completely dry. I seen the guy over there checking stuffed with his little thermometer and I'm thinking. What is he checking the some of the food that was there? Was so overdone or just had been looked like he'd been sitting there for days? No, thank you, and will not eat here ever again, they didn't even offer us any sauces to go with off food, which was terrible

I've used this place well over fifteen times. The last two times, I've ordered ahead on the app and still have to wait up to 30 minutes once I get there at the time it says the order should be ready which is absolutely ridiculous. The super greens are always so inconsistent. You are either getting a well cooked blend of greens that's never the same mix of vegetables or you're getting a mix of near raw greens. If it wasn't the healthiest affordable fast food option available, I wouldn't keep torturing myself with how poorly run this location is.

It's a small and outdated place that seems to do most of its business through carryout and delivery. However, don't let that fool you. The food I have gotten is always great tasting, portions are very generous and everything always tastes so fresh

I ordered through doordash tonight. My veggie chow mein came with something extra, a staple. I found it with my first bite which hurt my tooth, but not a permanent issue, it's just sensitive now. I called to complain at the store, and no one spoke enough english to understand what was wrong. They need something to figure out what is wrong when a customer has a safety complaint. That is a metal object, very dangerous. The picture attached is where I put the staple back into the food to show its size. Again, I found it with my first bite.

If you don't want to go spending 40$+ on local chinese food this is a great place for some of that take out fix! The food is very nice and I have never had problems with my order, the interior looks great and friendly too but I sadly don't see many people eating inside. I would recommend people to inside more often as the employees seem great and work plenty hard.

Whats the point of being open at 9:30am if you aren't capable of serving someone until 9:50am? I've worked in restaurants before. The point of coming in before opening and the point of prepping stuff is to make sure it's ready for when you open. You guys got on the intercom in the drive thru to tell me you will be right with me in a min because you guys aren't ready to open(even though its 9:35am and you open at 9:30am)...I sit there for 10-15 mins with NO more communication before I just decide to leave i because I have to be at work. You know because I actually care about timing. You know how you're supposed to be at work and doing your job on time.

I have had 2 experiences here. The first was below par. I decided to try it again. I ordered the Sweet and sour pork. I was so disappointed. I sent my entire platter home with my guest to feed it to her dog. It was so overly cooked, you could see the meat and it was black. I tried to eat a few but it was like eating gizzards. Luckily I was able to eat the soup and the noodles. $20 for that. 👎 Will not give it another try.

Food was good. Had to get straw's myself even asking for some. Waitress asked us if we were ready to order 5 times within a minute. Sweet and sour chicken was really crunchy

I recently visited The China Fun Buffet, and it was a mixed experience. First off, the decor is absolutely dreadful—outdated and tacky, making the whole place feel unwelcoming. The floors were dirty, the tables weren't much better, and don't even get me started on the restroom—it was downright filthy. As for the food, it was incredibly disappointing. The 'food' was as bland as a frozen Chinese dinner from Kroger, lacking any real flavor or freshness. Definitely not what you'd expect from a buffet. The only redeeming quality was the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and really tried to make the best of what they had to work with. If it weren't for them, I probably wouldn't even give this place 3 stars. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

I visited this little chinese buffet today. At first glance i wasnt sure about the place, small, simple styling, and the buffet i was there for looked nearly empty. The friendly staff quickly had us seated and im so glad i stayed and will continue visit this gem. Since only a few people were in dining at the time the staff was only putting out a few servings worth of each dish on the buffet at a time and thats why it looked nearly empty. As soon as something ran out it was quickly replaced with a few more servings of fresh and hot food. I much prefer this to having a full buffet that just sits on the bar for hours. And im talking delicious food, constantly hot and fresh and a real reminder that good food doesn't just come from fancy 5 star restaurants. I will be returning next time im in the area and i just wanted to write this review so i can let others know if they get there during slow hours and see the buffet nearly empty like i did, dont be fooled, it is hot and fresh and quickly refilled, treat yourself and stay💯💯

They have definitely up'd their game. OK in the past, yet today, everything was exceptional... Food was hot, crisp and flavorful. Clean dining room and men's restroom. Service was prompt and responsive tethered with politeness. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly conversationalist cashier. Nice to speak in English and easily carry on a conversation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 On a 1-5 rate!!!

Pathetic. That's what came into my mind. I'm a huge fan of Hot and Sour soup. Their version looked ok, but tasted nothing like H&S I've ever had. I tried 3 items on the Buffett, 2 chicken and one beef. The beef was maybe medium warm and from the looks of the veggies, had been there a while. The chicken items were barely above room temperature. This is a good place to get sick. I was afraid to even eat. I just paid and left. Does Dayton or Rhea Co. even conduct restaurant health inspections?
