This is great but only takeout. But it delicious no msg and fresh vegetables. The fried rice is a little light but very delicious anyways. We love it.

I've been going there for years. Food is delicious, fresh and always ready in a short period of time. Staff is really friendly and cordial. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!!!!

Best Chinese restaurant in the area, and that I’ve ever been to. Never personally dealt with any rude workers, always pleasant for a fast paced environment. Great portions for good prices. Haven’t ordered over the phone because of other reviews so I’ve only ever gone in and ordered. Absolutely love this place

I have gone here 4 different times and there's always an issues... The last time they hung up the phone in my face. Laughing and whispering.. Not very nice at all nor were they respectful

I thought this place would be good after seeing the 4.3 star review but it turned out to be the most disappointing Chinese food I've ever had. The sweet and sour chicken was greasy and absolutely flavorless. The sauce that came with it tasted like red corn syrup. The general tso chicken was this boring muted sweet flavor and nothing else. The crab Rangoons were just salty cream cheese with nearly no crab and had the same awful batter the sweet and sour chicken did. The fried rice was OK but also flavorless. Somehow even the duck sauce was not good? How do you mess up duck sauce? The egg roll tasted of nothing but celery. Somehow the eggroll was the only thing close to good because even though it only tasted like celery at least it tasted like something. Absolutely horrible overall, never had bad Chinese until now. Would never recommend.

I ordered “Sweet and sour “ chicken combo plate. I got these really greasy nugget things. Little nugget thing is swimming in oil and dough. Unacceptable. The egg roll is all celery. Never ordering again.

Never actually been inside and I like it that way. We order delivery once a month or so and the food almost always comes piping hot and in less time than the text says. The usual American Chinese staples (think orange chicken and beef and broccoli) are solid and the fried rice is one of my favorites.

Travellers, China gourmet is a delicious take out. It doesn’t appear to be much from the outside but the food is quite yummy. The restaurant is clean and organized and the service is with a smile. Very nice and accommodating. The soups are top notch. We recommend the chicken and rice. It was delicious as is the hot and sour. The shining star of the day was the sechuan dumplings in spicy peanut sauce. They are fantastic. Spicy but not too much. Saucy and delicate. They do not disappoint. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR - great Asian cuisine at takeout prices

Love this Chinese restaurant! The staff is always great and it's the best Chinese around. Portions are great too. The pic is of the General tsou w eggroll dinner plate to go. BEST EGG ROLLS!

A Culinary Masterpiece in a Humble Bowl – Chicken Fried Rice at Lee’s Family Restaurant Tucked away in the heart of Riverside, Rhode Island, Lee’s Family Restaurant may look like your typical local gem—but the moment you take your first bite of their chicken fried rice, you realize you’ve stumbled upon something truly extraordinary. This isn’t just chicken fried rice. This is a transcendent experience. Each grain of rice is perfectly cooked—fluffy yet firm, infused with wok-seared depth that only comes from years of perfected technique. The chicken is tender, juicy, and marinated with a subtle richness that lingers just long enough to make you crave the next bite. Tossed together with vibrant, crisp vegetables and delicately scrambled egg, every forkful is a symphony of flavor and texture. What truly sets Lee’s apart, though, is the love and care you can taste in every bite. This dish feels like it was made by someone who really knows comfort food—not just how to cook it, but how to make it unforgettable. There’s an old-school soul in their kitchen that elevates a simple classic into an unforgettable staple. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor: order the chicken fried rice. It’s the kind of dish that turns a quiet dinner into a cherished memory. One bowl, and you’ll understand why Lee’s Family Restaurant has earned its place as a treasured cornerstone of Riverside. Five stars isn’t enough—this dish deserves a constellation

Everything was delicious. We were truly impressed. This is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Providence we’ve ever had. Great service and reasonably priced as well. We didn’t realize that they’re only doing soft opening now with limited menu. Can’t wait to be back soon for the full menu!! (I typically write reviews that highlights one or two of my favorite items but everything was equally amazing tonight honestly.) Highly highly recommended!

Absolutely BUSSSSSS! New Chinese restaurant on wickenden. We ordered the green beans, the RC Dalu noodles, and the chicken and the pork intestine. Definitely recommend everything but particularly loved the chicken dish! It was honestly super good and the service was fantastic and so kind. The wait was a bit long but we were given a discount because of it! Genuinely highly recommend. For dessert we got brown sugar rice cake and it was pretty good

I've been ordering from Asian Taste since I moved here in 2011. It's a family run business. I usually get delivery and the driver Han is awesome and his Dad too! Food has always been consistent. Best Gen Tso Chicken hands down. All white meat chicken, no dark meat pieces. It's more mild to me, so if you want it spicy just ask. Crab Rangoon are always good too! I ordered this the other day. Gen Tso Chicken, Boneless Ribs, Chicken Teriyaki, and Fried Rice for $13.95!! Good Food, Good People!

I ordered two combo meals and and a small chicken finger. I am pretty sure I got 5 lbs of food! Perhaps the interior looks a little low key but Asian Taste can really dish out some good food and plenty of it. It's right on RT 44 in East Providence. A combo meal that can feed three people is $8.00

Chong Qing's atmosphere reminds me of those old school, hole-in-the-wall, what you see in the movies type. The service was impeccable. Everything came out so fast and we ordered many dishes! The food was A+++++. A definite gem here in Providence. I'm only sad that it took me this long to know that this place existed. 11/10 would come back. I wanted to come back thr literal next day, but did a lot of big backing already.

Let's be warned, it is a typical mom and pop atmosphere. No exhuberent decor and pretentious interior design. BUT EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC FOOD. Based on my experience and traditional cooking, their foods never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable in this economy. There are some strong cumin flavored and spicier dishes, are personal preferences. IMHO, they are well executed, for example the cumin spicy pork ribs. It reminded me of a well grilled lamb from the autonomous Xinjiang area but with pork. In all, no restaurant is perfect to suit everyone's palate. For those who enjoys highly authentic food and with bravery appetite, this could be your next new outlet.

Solid spot. Not the best but good enough. I didn’t like the fried wontons and anything that has breading (chicken finger, shrimp) - Something was off with the breading so I’ll skip all this next time. But other than that, rice was good, lo-mein was good and not too greasy, and I actually loved the egg rolls. Sesame chicken was good too. I got delivery and it was straightforward good service.

The food is amazing, sadly staff attitude is horrendous, it pains me to stop going there, but there's only so much disrespect I can handle, especially as a paying customer.

When I first walked into the restaurant I noticed how outdated and dirty it was. The worker that took my to go order was polite and respectful. I also noticed that the health inspector was there today. I ordered two combinations plates of white rice with orange chicken and vegetable rice with orange chicken. The plates looked appetizing but when I got home my girlfriend mentioned her rice tasted nasty and her chicken was pink and undercooked it was also spicy. I observed my chicken and it was the same color as well. I had the white rice and that tasted fine. My girlfriend said her rice tasted like burnt oranges and the broccoli was disgusting and inedible. I don’t recommend this place and it needs a new chef and a remodel.

Great food with excellent prices. Cash only is so inconvenient but it's location I can understand why.

The food is as great as it was when we used to go to the old location! Great family friendly restaurant. Food is fantastic and the service is amazing! 10/10 would recommend! Forgot to take before photos! But as you can see we devoured everything!

Happy to have found a legit Sichuan restaurant in Providence. The Chongquig chicken was light on the Sichuan peppercorn (Mala) but was plenty spicy and tasted awesome. The soup dumplings are good too. My one complaint is probably the prices - about 10% higher than I expected. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

A great first time experience. Good food. Fresh and made to order. Reasonably priced. Portion size is worth your money! I would order from here again.

First time ordering from Lili Wok, the delivery took longer than expected. Upon receiving our order, we were underwhelmed with the quality of the food. The shrimp fried rice contained only four pieces of shrimp and the rice was undercooked(mushy). Furthermore, my combo meal, which was supposed to include sweet and sour chicken, lacked sauce altogether. On a positive note, the strawberry smoothie was enjoyable. However, there were discrepancies in our order, including the incorrect soda selection. Additionally, my husband's boneless spare ribs lacked sauce. Given the subpar experience and the total cost of $45, we were disappointed and would not recommend this establishment.
