JJ Panda
I ordered two items, sweet and sour chicken and shrimp lo mean. I didn't even receive the shrimp lo mean. I received shrimp fried rice instead. The sweet and sour chicken is dry, hard, oily, and over cooked. Usually their food is great so I don't know what is going on.
First time in. Very clean. Friendly folks. Great food. Packaged to go, well. No spills. Back for dinner.
Lucky Star Restaurant
the food was absolutely amazing! i had orange chicken dinner combo and my fiance got the option c from the ABC section, plus one order of rangoons. the portions were INSANE! $45 is going to feed us both 3 times! i consider myself a bit of a food snob, but everything was pretty amazing. the orange chicken had a beautiful crunch, and a perfect not too sweet not too tangy sauce. the rangoons had a fantastic filling, not too cream cheesy and not too sweet but perfectly combined for an amazing taste. you know how sometimes the tea at chinese restaurants is a bit bitter? this one was spot on!! and the tea is free for all 🥲 i love it here and i will be coming back every single time im in the area! the service at the front desk was stellar as well, very personably and friendly staff. extremely kind folks over there! very attentive & professional!
I am not sure if they owned it back then, but I would come here a growing up, every year as a faimly we would order as a faimly when I was a child so I have a ton of positive nostalgic feelings here. would have leftovers for days. I strongly suggest getting a dinner or lunch specials they are a great amount of food for the money. It is probably one of the best Chinese restaurant in Southern Maine. The staff my last visit was incredible. It's a kennebunk staple.
Imperial Gourmet
Been coming here for a year, we get takeout almost everytime. Their food is always good, I’ve personally never had any complaints. Staff is nice.
A lot of the dishes were bland or overcooked. This is the smallest buffet I have ever been to. There are 32 warm dishes, 14 cold dishes, and only 4 sushi options, of which they don't put much out at time. So the plates sit empty. We were there from 6:00 to 7:00
He Xin
We ordered three dishes for takeout. I was most dissatisfied with the General Tso Chicken. The dish was mostly breading. There was so little chicken!!! So I paid for flavored breading. The house fried rice was really good and the eggs in the shrimp egg foo yung were bland. I don’t know when it became okay to use fake chicken in these Chinese restaurants.
Food is always great and delivery is super fast. This is the best Chinese restaurant that I have found in the area!
Red Leaves Chinese Restaurant
Food was great, be sure to tell the chef what you prefer. I liked their Orange Chicken, Crispy Pork, and Boneless spare ribs.
This place is tiny and super cute! The staff is amazing and friendly. Very helpful! The food was absolutely delicious and so tasty. Very fresh and good quality ingredients. Good sized portions as well! We will be back anytime we're in the area.
Lin's Garden
Best Chinese food In york for sure highly recommend! Great quality ,taste! Delivery is a option and they are normally quick bout it
Terrible Experience at Lin’s Garden I had an awful experience at Lin’s Garden (964 S George Street, York, PA). I ordered orange chicken with shrimp fried rice, but they gave me pork fried rice instead. As someone who cannot eat pork, this was unacceptable. When I returned to get my money back, the staff initially refused to refund me. It wasn’t until I stood my ground and caused a scene that they reluctantly gave me my money back. This place is unprofessional and has terrible customer service. I will not be coming back, and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Panda Express
It's a Panda Express. In a theme park. So, you know, the food you're used to without the atmosphere. Pros: They're part of the dining plan! Whether you bought the Funday Bundle ticket with all-day dining or the actual meal plan, they've got you covered. Also, the portions are generous. If you're a fan of the Panda, it won't disappoint. Cons: Like any theme park restaurant, get ready to fork over about $6 if you want a drink besides the complimentary cup of water.
Definitely way more expensive than the Panda Express outside but it’s in a park so ig it’s fair. Food quality is consistent and u can get small water cups from their cashier to get some water
Jing Jing Chinese Restaurant
I ordered through uber eats. Unfortunately you cannot right a review via the app. They only use the star system. So I came here to let others know. I ordered multiple items and the food looked great. However after a few bites of my bourbon chicken I noticed a bug. Which didn’t bother me at first cause sometimes a fruit fly may get in food. No big deal. But then I really looked at the dish and was horrified to see that these little bug were in the entire thing. Lots of them. I don’t know what they were. I ended up throwing everything out because I was then worried about the food safety standards they hold themselves to. I personally have work in the food industry for many years and always give places the benefit of doubt. But this was unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Please do better, food safety is very important.
Excellent meal here!! Great Curry Chicken! Eggrolls are delicious too.
Yummy House Restaurant
I've ordered from here for 1/4 century. Presently best in town. Portions create leftovers so 2 for 1 in the end for me (good enough to eat all at once).
I just moved here from Seattle a week ago and I just so happened to come across this restaurant today. Staff are very friendly, food is delicious, and it is very convenient for my family’s budget. Totally recommend this place
Chinese Kitchen
Really wish I had looked at reviews before spending $25 here. Sesame chicken isn't supposed to be grey...seriously scared for my stomach. The chicken is also chewy and just taste weird or old. Also the "crab rangoons" are just cream cheese. No crab meat at all. The inside of this place was gross looking too. The fried rice is not even fried rice!!
They have a really good lunch special!! I was surprised how fresh and delicious the food was. Definitely not much to look at from the outside, but really nice people inside and really fresh yummy food! I’ll definitely be coming back soon! I was impressed by the quantity of food for the price!
Panda Express
I attended the Grand Opening of Panda Express on Wednesday, November 20th. I’ve had Panda Express before, but not as frequently as I would’ve liked because there was not a location in Rock Hill. I was there for all of the Grand Opening festivities which included the ribbon cutting ceremony with the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce, a special performance by the Rock Hill High Band and spins from Elite Entertainment. Also, as one of the first 88 guests, I received a Panda Express branded t-shirt and tote bag. The restaurant was clean and casual while the décor held onto Chinese tradition, but with a modern twist. There was inclement weather that morning, but the staff did their best to keep the floors dry despite the crowd. I must also add that the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I tried a Panda Bowl with Honey Walnut Shrimp and Fried Rice. This entrée was a whole lot better than I thought it would be. In fact, it became my favorite entrée there, beating out the Orange Chicken. The shrimp was an excellent size, the walnuts were crunchy, the sauce was sweet, and the fried rice had a traditional taste. I also tried the Plate option, which came with two entrées and a side. I chose the Black Pepper Sirloin Steak, Original Orange Chicken, and Chow Mein. The Black Pepper Sirloin Steak was stellar as it was packed with the most flavor out of all the entrees. There was also a plentiful amount of steak and the veggies were crisp. The Orange Chicken is a classic dish, which tasted just like I remember it to be. Chow Mein isn’t a side I normally get, but it will be one of my regulars now because I enjoyed it so much at my visit. I also enjoyed the Chicken Egg Roll and the Apple Pie Roll. Overall, I think the food has an excellent quality for the price. I can’t wait to go back to try more and I hope this location gets the Bourbon Chicken.
Absolutely the best Chinese food I have had in a long time, from the moment of walking in the door, being greeted, offered recommendations and the most popular picks, top tier, amazing job guys and thank you so much!! Will definitely be back!
New China
I took a long break from eating Chinese food and unfortunately this place reminded me of why I did it in the 1st place I recently ordered from them and the 1 few times wasn’t too bad But u have noticed how dirty and disorganized their kitchen is Yesterday I ordered again and every bite I took was almost like I took a bite of sand Like a if they dropped my food on a dirty floor and picked up and gave me it After further inspection I found a peace of plastic in my food I immediately throw it in the trash NEVER AGAIN!! Chinese people will served you anything for money!!
My husband and I ordered a wonton soup, orange chicken, Sechuan chicken and fried rice. The broth was good but the wontons were very thick and not tasty at all. The orange and sechuan were good but the fried rice was horrible. Who taught them how to make it?? I am sharing a pic of what fried rice should look like and what we got. For $43 we should have gotten something much better.
