Royal Panda
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Washington County, and I don't mind driving a bit out of my way to eat here. My family and I enjoyed going here while visiting the Tualatin area when I was a child, bringing me fond memories of the place, and it still holds up today. Their offerings are pretty typical, but they're reasonably priced and they have a lot to offer. I do appreciate that they have salt and pepper pork, which is one of my favorite dishes. They also have yummy hot and sour soup. I've always thought the atmosphere is pretty nice too, and it's quite clean.
First time trying and it was pretty good. I think I’d give it another shot sometime. It’s really hard to find good Chinese food in Oregon. Bar that connects had some sad service. Bartender clearly helped multiple people before my husband and I who had been sitting at the bar for a few minutes. Wouldn’t go in there again.
Wu's Open Kitchen
Finally a Chinese restaurant that stands out among others. I went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the dishes that I ordered. The food was simply delicious. It had a good atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The place was clean and plenty of parking as well.
We ordered takeout from this place, thinking it would be above average Chinese food based on the reviews. What a disappointment. We got two of the chef's specials and two noodle dishes, and nothing was good. Sauces were the blandest I've ever tasted from a Chinese restaurant. Two were supposed to be hot& spicy but had zero kick at all. Veggies, mushrooms were clearly not fresh, eg canned/frozen. Overly greasy. I can't fathom how this place has 4.5 avg reviews, maybe they serve different food in the restaurant.
Lee's Kitchen
The place looks nice and they serve you well. The woman taking the order coughs while you're in front of her, that's no nice. The food is great though.
Me and my husband love to hang in the bar angld get a few drinks. Lindsay the bartender is awesome. Shes funny and a great server/bartender. Even our family loves to come out, and we live in Aloha. Worth the drive. We love the sweet and sour chicken and crab puffs.
Joy Wok
I went to get lunch today, and the person in front of me was extremely rude—clearly, he didn’t want to be there. Even the kitchen staff were giving him looks, as if to say, “Are you crazy?” I urge the owners to ensure that only employees who enjoy their work interact with customers. Regardless of how good the food might be, I’ll think twice about coming here again after being treated so disrespectfully.
I wanted to enjoy the food. The Szechuan beef tasted like the meat was spoiled and it was 60% celery. I was afraid to eat it after the first bite. The chow mein was somehow flavorless, and hardly any pork. I ordered the BBQ pork. I would have been better off at Panda Express, or frozen from Trader Joe’s, and that’s sad. Bummer . The guy was cool and fun to talk to though. So that’s cool…
China Rim
The service was great, I got there and my food was ready. The food was very good, except I didn't like the Pot Stickers , it was hard, thick and greasy but the rest of my food was amazing. The paper plate was a plate from my home. Lol. I tried a little of everything. I definitely recommend everything on their menu.
We've gone in to order and have also called ahead, but have only gotten our food to go. The staff has been pleasant and they make the orders pretty quickly. The food is delicious. The sesame beef is FANTASTIC. I highly recommend. It's labeled as spicy, I am a wuss when it comes to anything spicy. Its more of a garlicky spicy. My husband pointed out it the label and I was confused because I didn't find it spicy at all. He got the Kung Pao, he really liked it. The BBQ pork chow mein was delicious. The BBQ pork itself was a little dry but good with some sauce. Over all, I absolutely recommend this adorable little place.
Hometown Taste
best Chinese food we’ve ever had! Super local, incredible friendly and family staff, quick service , clean and great ambiance! Crab puff are the best in town! Flower egg soup is a must! Everything super tasty! We will 100% go back and become frequent there ! Great lunch deals
From what I'm told, it's the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The comment came from a Chinese person. The food is indeed good and how is it supposed to taste and you see a lot of Asians eating here, so that's a great sign.
Wan Q Restaurant
The food was awful. The flavors made no sense. I had orange chicken which was not flavored, not enough seasoning, not orange, and kind of a ball of mush and kung pao chicken which did not taste right and barely had any chicken. There are a lot of good chinese places around, I hoped I could stumble into one that was near my child's baseball practice. I should have gone to a better spot. Also, it was too expensive. They must make their money on lottery or something. Terrible food.
Personally I like authentic Chinese food. It's better than expected. Friendly staff and great service. Overall is still a place for consideration of you are adventurous. 3 of us ordered the set Dinner B, the portion is more than enough for us, may be we are not very big eater? :p
Frank's Noodle House Beaverton
We got a variety of dishes but the egg fried rice stood out as the best: perfect balance of green onion & egg, slightly salted, mild flavor, and very quick to come to the table. The service was outstanding - food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Servers were on it, space was clean, and pricing was decent.
I’ve been here previously for a team lunch, and I could not forget the scrumptious shrimp with the sticky sweet coating. I was also feeling under the weather so went for kimchi fried rice for some heat. Food arrived promptly piping hot - service was quick and so was the check out. Perfect pace for weekday meal. Would love to be back for beef soup with hand pulled noodles before summer heat kicks in.
Szechuan House
First time trying this place & we were not disappointed!! We have a go-to place on the East side but have yet to find something comparable since we moved over to this side of town. This place is definitely our new favorite & we will be back!! The lady was very nice, not only to us but also the other 2 tables seated in the restaurant. The food was quick, fresh & so delicious!! Very generous portions, we ate our fill & still had plenty leftover for dinner.
Great food cooked to order every single time. The owner is always ready to greet you in to her restaurant. Update first time I try sesame chicken and let me tell you the it doesn't disappoint. Very fresh and served hot of the wok.
East Harbor Restaurant
We love this place the food taste so good. My husband travel to china for business trip. And he think this restaurant is one of the best Chinese restaurants.
Veggie dishes were very over cooked, really bad. We got broccoli and only received stems and some sort of bitter leaves. A super disappointing meal order!
Stir Crazy Kitchen
There was a ROCK in my General Tso chicken. I chipped my tooth from a very substantial size rock in my chicken. I HAVE NEVER had anything like this. The food was not bad tasting but you can guarantee i will NEVER eat or recommend this place to a single soul. My mind is blown and they are lucky I do not sue for Dental services that I will be attending to.
I visited this restaurant a year ago and remember the food being much better. This time, it didn’t live up to those expectations. We ordered the Mongolian beef, house special chicken, shrimp fried rice, and jjampong. The house special chicken was okay, but I wish it had been served warmer. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The Mongolian beef was overly salty, and the jjampong had an unpleasant smell, with noodles that were too thin and had more of a soba-like texture, which didn’t work for the dish at all. The shrimp fried rice was also excessively greasy. Overall, the flavors were completely different from what I enjoyed a year ago. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but I left feeling disappointed.
Taste Of Sichuan
Miss this place 😔 famously AWFUL service 🤣🤣😭 but the food was the best Chinese around without driving all the way out to 82nd. Newly revamped Hometown Taste a few miles away is *almost* as good with a much smaller menu though, but much better service also. Good alternative to check out! If Taste of Sichuan ever returns, I will be so happy 😊🥺
This Chinese restaurant is the best. I’m constantly searching for the perfect moo goo gai pan and I found it here at Taste of Sichuan. The place gets crowded at dinner time but service is fast and the staff are attentive. The food here is delicious and I can’t wait to try their other dishes. By the way their steamed rice is cooked perfectly as well. 7/16/23 Tried their lunch special, it was very good with generous portions and came with a soup when you eat in.
