Have been wanting to try fan tuan forever and realized this place sells it!! $3.50 per roll and very tasty. I will be coming back here regularly to try their other items as well

This is what I have been looking for all these years. Perfection! The bun is soft and the stuffings are delicious (hard boil egg, pork, sausage) "Steam bun"

this is my most favorite place to eat in Chinatown, and one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. the food is so fresh, flavorful, and authentic. you can really tell a lot of work and love is put into the food. for under $10 you can get a big ol bowl of hand made noodles served in a complex and comforting broth. most times, i am unable to finish my bowl of ramen, but i walk out feeling so full, warmed, and ready for a nap. my husband and i love this spot and we have so many great memories here. we’ve brought friends and family. i often come here by myself to read, write, watch tv, or really just sit there and enjoy the atmosphere and i always feel welcomed. you can tell other patrons feel the same, often coming to sit, eat, and watch tv for awhile because it feels so homey. please come and support this small business! thank you for the amazing service:)

We really love the chongqing fried chicken and the perfect taste soup here. The boneless chicken is so tender and crispy, you just can’t stop trying it.

I’ve been waiting for rice rolls to come to Philly and I’m happy to report these hit the spot! The rice rolls are so fresh, soft, & flavorful. The prices aren’t as low as some places in NYC china town, but $8 isn’t bad either. I can’t wait to come back! The staff is also very friendly & accommodated putting the sauce on the side (not pictured) for my bf’s rolls since he is gluten free.

The food here was really good and so does the service. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable when i entered. The portion was average. I only tried a few dishes this time but will go back again to try more. Definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Had the most amazing experience here! Was hosted for an event, and the food was top tier. This is the best elevated Chinese food I’ve ever had. They have unique dishes such as blueberry general tso’s! You can tell they use top quality ingredients as well. Service was fantastic, and the decor and ambiance is elevated and beautiful. Highly recommend- I think this is the best Chinese cuisine in Chinatown/philly! They serve alcohol as well!

The food is delicious and portions are big. Please note that their dishes are generously portioned. We recommend inquiring about serving sizes before placing your order, unless you are dining with a large group.

Modern take on Chinese food. This place has only been open for a couple of months. Stopped for a lunch on a weekday. We arrived at 1:30, a little later than the lunch rush. But we were still surprised to see the place was completely empty. It's cute and nice. Seems clean. Food is a tick pricey for Philly at lunch time, especially for Chinatown. Discounts for cash here, so hit the ATM on the way. Food is good 👍🏽

You can enjoy the best food here and receive cheerful service from the waiters. No matter how busy they are, they will come over as long as you call. There is also a KTV for party, and drinks are also provided. As long as the needs that can be met can be met, I can only Say you have to try it once to understand.

This was the first Hong Kong western restaurant I’ve been to after I saw Chinese Cooking Demystified’s video about it a while back. The kimchi bacon pasta was so good and honestly everything I want in a pasta - creamy, spicy, kimchi, and bacon. The Brussels sprouts were good but not the star in my opinion, unlike other comments. It’s pretty similar to wha you can get elsewhere so I’d get something more unique. I can’t wait to go back here.

I highly recommend the kimchi pasta !! The dish had fresh seafood and kimchi added such a nice flavor/texture to it. Hong Kong milk tea tasted very authentic! Portions are very generous and food comes out FAST.

This place is amazing! The fish hotpot is packed with flavor—rich, spicy, and super satisfying. The fish is so tender, and the broth is just incredible. And that eggplant dish? Wow! The sauce is so good, and the eggplant is cooked perfectly—soft and so tasty. Even the green beans were spot on! I’m obsessed with both dishes and can’t wait to come back for more. If you’re into bold, delicious Chinese food, you’ve gotta try this place!

So many amazing items on their menu, we've had such a fun time eating multiple items on their menu with our group visits. Everyone gets their hot pots, but we also really enjoyed their eggplant, tofu, and noodle dishes. Definitely coming back for more!

Just three things on the menu have English translations, so that what we ordered. Food was good and I was able to feed myself and two other people for under $10. They sell noodles for later preparation.

2 pounds of the flat wide rice noodles (ho fun) for $2.50.

Great little spot! I’ve only been for late night eats. It’s small but the food is good and plenty. I love that they are open late until 2am i believe. It’s not many places you can get full on authentic Chinese entrees that late at night. The portions are great size.

I got invited here so not sure on price. However I will say the food was great but when I went to use the bathroom I seen some things that make me not wanna come back here 😫 They had Karaoke which was fun. I think this place for sure needs some updating & a lil gem for what it is.

Worth a try to have different rice plates and crispy chicken. Not a great place with nice ambience however, the food we tried filled the gap. Food portion was good enough for to for a single menu item. Service was not that great as we would prefer some one to talk a bit and explain the menu and serve happily however, it seemed they prefer more of local clientelle. Seafood is definitely overpriced. Would recommend to try this restaurant for takeaway (choice of rices, crispy chicken and dim sums).

I came here for lobsters because they have a special for 2 lobsters for $46 but tbh other than beef chow fen I can't recommend anything else. The lobsters are small but given the price I will let it slide. The satay beef is super weird. They give large portions but they also added clear noodle which is super weird and not very delicious with not enough satay sauce. The steamed giant clam is priced $7 a piece but they basically spread 1.5 clams with a lot of clear noodle to make it look like 3 giant clams with 3 shells so if you do the math they are not as cheap as they make them out to be. I'd rather they charge full price like $10 but gives you the actual full amount. I know this because I cook at home and then I know how much meat is in 1 clam. As for lobster I have a feeling they just cook a bunch and give you pieces with 2 heads but they are alright. The best is beef chow fen which is surprisingly good. This is a cheap restaurant so ambience sucks with noisy diners and crammed seating. Don't take your date unless you've been together for a long time. Service is typical Chinese service fast and efficient but not attentive.

This small but mighty shop serves amazing piping hot clay pot rice, but with limited seating there may be a worthwhile wait. This spot is perfect for a relaxing meal on a cold day. Food: Clay pot rice is a very comforting dish and a great way to explore more unique Chinese foods. The clay pot rices we got had the perfect crispy sides that paired well with the more tender proteins that tops the rice. The flavors were on the mellow side but still flavorful, meaning you didn’t need to take breaks besides cooling down your next spoonful. My favorite part was so hot the dish stays as you continue to eat. Even 20 minutes after they were served, the rice was still piping hot! Service: It’s a small operation with 1-2 sweet ladies in the front serving and taking orders. They do their best to accommodate all customers to limit their wait times so sometimes you may end up saying a table with another small group. Atmosphere: This spot is cozy but can get a little hectic at times given the small space. This isn’t the type of place to enjoy a long drawn out meal. It’s a no fuss stop just looking to serve great food to as many people as they can.

This place is very small and has limited numbers of table. They serve clay pot rice with different toppings. The traditional Chinese sausage one is good but others can be a bit unflavored and require you to add pre soy sauce yourself. We added egg on one of the order and found the egg being overcooked. I can’t say they are awesome but I think out of what you can get from Boston, this is okay. The waitress reminded us about paying tips at the end, which I thought it’s a bit rude.

The dumplings were decent, but the skin was a bit dry and many of them had cracked, so there was no soup left inside. Overall, the food was quite good, but we were surprised that the pork dish we ordered was $40+ for such a small portion—especially at a place that doesn’t feel particularly high-end. Still, it’s a good enough spot.

We were craving soup dumplings and boy did this place deliver. Tried a bunch of different ones, thanks rainbow option! The truffle soup dumplings as well as crab soup dumplings were my favorites. Table app ordering was an easy, efficient experience for our table of 5. Orange chicken was some of the best I've ever had. Will come back just for dumplings but the Peking duck and the lobster entrees around us smelled amazing as well.
