Lai Wah Heen
This is definitely one of the best Dim Sum places I’ve ever been to. The serves was extremely nice and made really good recommendations. The quality of the food is supreme and the presentation is great. I loved the lobster shaped dumpling, very creative and the flavor was unbelievable. The shrimp and chive dumpling was delicious as well. I started with a warm green tea to warm me from this freezing cold Toronto weather. A+++
Crispy duck tastes good, it came with a whole duck. Ordered both dish for the duck, make sure you check the amount before ordering. The wrap came with 4-5 rounds, each round has 2 wrap. The dim sum can be ordered as combo or order independently where you can select over 10-ish different styles. And the service was great! Really enjoyed the visit.
THAI DINER RESTAURANT
I was a bit surprised by the unique and special interior, considering it’s a Thai restaurant, but it had a very distinctive personality. As per the reviews I read before going, the food was generally delicious. Pad Thai was a little bit too sweet but was delicious. The Thai ice tea was really good at the end for refreshing even though I was really full. Our server was very friendly and professional. She was very lovely.
Extremely large portions. Quite good, especially for the area. The food feels tailored towards the American palate, which should be a good thing for most customers: sweeter and greasier than typical of Thai food.
Lingnan
First visit and ordered General Tso combination, large pork with broccoli and an order of crab Rangoon. Very tasty and fresh. Interesting style of General Tso with cabbage in it- very good. Ingredients were very fresh. Will definitely return.
Favorite place in Emmaus for Chinese food, super nice family run business. Always clean and friendly. I love the general tso’s chicken with there pork fried rice and bbq spare ribs. If you’re looking for fast , convenient, and easy dinners Ling Nan is the place. You won’t be disappointed! 10/10.
Little Lan's
1st time eating here. ordered their sizzling rice soup and it was absolutely incredible. We also asked Jeffrey to put together a dish that was not on the menu, as we were craving it so much, and he went out of his way to make it specially for us. It was the best version of the dish that we ever tried. (We asked for spicy shredded pork with bamboo shoots and it’s not on their menu). Thank you Jeffrey and Little Lan’s. We found our new fav spot!!! Incredible!!
Wow this was bad. Just received a delivery order and am so disappointed. The fried rice is a mushy mess of soft rice, boiled pork, and way too much egg added in. The whole texture is like scrambled eggs, not sure what was fried. The pan noodle is more boiled pork and spaghetti noodles. I am assuming the orange chicken sauce was made from orange juice, it was thin and acidic. Crab Rangoon was fried a few times too many but the filling was decent. And the Szechuan beef was decent but salty. Overall, a waste of $90, and I'm not happy to leave such a bad review for a local business, but this was exceptionally terrible.
The Main Course
I wish I was able to give this business more than 5 stars. Outstanding customer service, the quality of the food, taste and the different choices for most dietary preferences are exquisite. Thank you Amy, Kevin and staff for taking care of us in the way you kindly did.
Ok. I lived in Cold Spring NY 20 years ago. Still thought about the scones that I devoured. Just went back and the scones are still just as delicious!!! The prepared food is wonderful too!
Marcell's
1st time eating here after all these years, think it was recently renovated and looks great. Great food and well priced.
Food is very good Like their steak sandwiches her tender. Owner Marcell is very nice. Everyone is friendly there. Could use and update on bar. Have tables for eating as well as the bar. Service is great I like it there.
Seasons' Noodle
I came in and took a moment to find the entrance. It's at the Chestnut St side of the Columbus Bldg. I got their Garlic Soy sauce Shrimp Noodle. It was really yummy and it didn't take too long to prepare. The noodles were springy and chewy in a good way. The sauce was simple and garlicky. I would come again.
I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked in, because it’s kind of out of the lobby of a building, BUT the food was absolutely phenomenal. Great options, extremely fresh, and very flavorful. The man that took my order was very friendly and fast. Thanks so much!!
Mandarin Palace
Ordered on Uber eats. The sushi was extremely fresh and delicious. The rolls were a great portion amount of fish to rice ration. The scallion pancakes/Chinese pizza was so full (not thin), perfect crunch and also softness. Everything was delicious. I think I found my go to sushi place. Will order again!
We got delivery through grubhub. Food arrived earlier than expected from the app timings. Everything was very delicious and lots of flavors. The only comment i would have is that i wish they described the food better in the menu or have pictures.4.5/5
Chopsticks
I ordered through Uber eats, so I can't give a legit review on atmosphere that's the only reason it's a zero. Had never eaten here before, so I got my standered test order. General Tso chicken dinner, an extra egg roll and crab Rangoon. Their version of a meal comes with soup and chicken fried rice. Crab Rangoons were good, but their order is only 4 pieces and literally everywhere else is 8, so that felt like a minor rip off. The soup was egg drop, taste was unimpressing. The only way to describe is to say it tasted like the broth of heavily diluted Campbells condensed chicken noodle soup. Egg rolls tasted like cardboard like they had been fried at one point then reheated. The Generals chicken was described as "chunks of crispy chicken" it was the farthest thing from crunchy they could have gotten. I will say, even though I've never eaten here the chicken tasted super familiar, it definitely came frozen from a bag or box. The accompanying chicken fried rice was basic (under cooked and under seasoned) yellow rice with maybe a tablespoon of boiled, white chicken thrown on top. I'm no professional critics, but nah. Never again. This was awful.
Great food. Our new go to Chinese restaurant. Very quick service and great value for the price. Been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for a while. Found it! We will be back
Chopsey - Pan Asian Kitchen
Loved the ribs. The dumplings were good & on the smaller side but at $8.00 they were well worth it.
Xi'an Sizzling Woks
Very nice waitress. We were there early so it wasn't crowded. The shrimp and scallop with shiitake mushrooms was good. Scallops are cut into thin strips so probably two large ones total. Three large shrimp. Comes with rice. The special had everything from meatballs, chicken, shrimp to bok choy, noodles and more. Very large portion!
The food is just okay, I can’t say great because I have tried the same dishes from couple of other Chinese restaurant’s as well, some where super delicious. As you can see more than half of the ‘shredded chicken with garlic sauce’ was broccolis. I find that a bit weird. The Dan Dan noodles, I felt excess seasoning, the taste of a single spice felt more than needed. Anyway, of course you can try these dishes because they are still okay and not bad.
Gold Chopsticks
We ordered a group meal last night and each one of us was satisfied. We shared some photos on the website just want to let you know that it might be a decent place for you when you feel munching on Chinese food, inexpensive but decent for the gathering. Food were tasty and fresh that made you feel safe to eat especially in the hot weather.
Great Chinese food! Food was delivered hot and with utensils and plates. The chicken fingers were great. The combination meals were good portions. The general tso’s chicken was good, it could have been crispier and definitely needed more sauce on it. Rice typical. The vegan dishes were excellent!!! Very good vegan dish’s. Also the customer service was really great, they forgot a spring roll and came all the way back to give it to me!
