The store is always dirty, smells like an underground subway, not safe at the time they open up, the store doesn't open until 4:30pm and it's not safe to go there at night. The website says they open at 1pm but I drove past a few times and they were closed at 4:10.

After I placed my order, I was allowed to sit and wait. The location was clean and there were plenty of seats available. The food was hot and delicious. My only complaint is that it wasn't spicy enough—I usually like my food very spicy, but this one could have been spicier for my taste buds' sake! Overall, though, I am very satisfied with my experience here. Will recommend to friends and family!

Best Chinese food in town. Have tried so many other Chinese restaurants and none of them come close to Eddie's. Service is always prompt and the food is always on point.

The Chicken Broccoli Combo With Egg Fried Rice and Extra Sauce is a great meal, it's only $10 and you should call them 15 minutes ahead for pick up. This way the food is hot, fresh and ready for u!

She works 7 days a week so hard from open to close it's just her her husband is rarely around to help. If she catches an attitude it's because she deals with ignorant demanding customers not being considerate banging on the window. Like she's not one person doing it all. I'm sorry people made bad reviews about her attitude for me I never had a problem and Ive been coming here basically every day for 2 yrs even if it's just a water. And as far as the wait I mean if she has 10 orders how can it be 10 15 minutes for everyone? Pizza places goes over 45 minutes during busy hours. I feel bad for these reviews get to know a person before you judge. As far as rude on the phone she may not be able to hear she does have an accent and talks with a mask on. #dobetter

It’s a really big Chinese store. It was empty when I first got in there. I ordered my food which came to $15. I got chicken wings, shrimp lo mein & a homemade pink lemonade. The prices aren’t too bad. They do accept debit card. They charge you $.075 if you spend less than $15. They took about 15 minutes to cook my food. It seems like it was mom & dad in the back cooking & 2 kids about the ages of 11 & 15 taking the orders & packing the bags. The service was just ok. The food wasn’t too bad either. I really like that I had like 10 pieces of shrimp in my lo mein. The chicken wings were fried really hard like I asked. It wasn’t anything special, but definitely wasn’t bad. I do live close so I will probably be back.

I had an amazing meal at this restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Wild Pepper Chicken was absolutely delicious—crispy, spicy, and full of rich flavors. The portion size was generous, and the service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

The great food was very reasonably priced this was unexpected in its location in Chestnut Hill. It is nothing fancy but it's simplicity as to the pleasant atmosphere. It was not crowded so that conversation among our group was easily maintained. I cannot understand why the restaurant was not packed each time we were there. It seems that much of their business must be take out.

I live down the street from this place and as long as I can remember it's always looked dirty. If any of y'all had any dignity you wouldn't eat at a place like this. If this was a black restaurant y'all would never eat there

Food doesn't taste good anymore. I had the wings dried out vegetable lomein house special was horrible broccoli was old you can see it and taste it. The last time I went there tore my stomach up shrimp weren't cleaned !

The food is really good. I’ve been ordering from here for about 7 months and it hasn’t missed. Customer service so/so, but so are most Chinese restaurants I’ve stumbled upon, and I don’t mind it at all.

This place is trash . They are rude & force you to pay tips they don’t deserve then lie & say you don’t pay & treat you as such .I live 4 mins from them they deliever my food soggy over an hour late & im not spending another dime with yall , hahaha about that !

I Love the cucumber soup, the fruit 🤤 is very good, I'm a personal fan of their Beef Lo Main , their Hot & Sour Soup and their egg rolls are always fresh. Disappointing. Don't recommend. And won't be back. Got Lunch Special of Sweet and Sour Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and Hot and Sour Soup. The chicken was breaded and designed to take up container space. That's cheaping out. In addition, the breading was not fully cooked. Yuk. The pork fried rice had minimal onions and pork. Unlike a better place, it had no bean sprouts. The hot and sour soup didn't have mushrooms. It also wasn't spicy hot at all. Even temperature-wise, I'll point out for you that the soup was not evenly heated. It was actually cold in spots. When compared to my China Inn review, this place -- New Ruby Chinese Restaurant -- fails.

i genuinely think this is the worst chinese food i've ever had in my life-- shrimp lo mein overcooked, mushy, and soaked in grease, fried rice somehow undercooked right next to it, wonton soup tastes like dishwater and the TWO wontons are huge and don't have nearly enough filling to justify the size, crab rangoon so greasy i gagged biting into it, and this sweet tea somehow tastes like grape koolaid-- never coming back here EVER again

Went here for the first time and ordered chicken rice soup, BBQ ribs, and General Tso's chicken--3 items I most often get from take-out places. The person taking my order was nice, and ordering and paying was fine. Atmosphere-wise, it's a basic take-out place. They did have several chairs for sitting and waiting, which I appreciated. The soup tssted best to me of the 3 items, but the chicken pieces were weird in shape and texture--really soft, like maybe pulverized chicken powder was remade into chicken bits...? Not great. The BBQ ribs were nice and tender, but super salty and overly charred to the point of parts of them being burnt to inedible. Not a lot of BBQ flavor. The General Tso's had a thick layer of breading, which kept the crunchiness, but overwhelmed the amount of chicken, and the chicken was again a weird texture, as with the soup. The sauce was ok, not very good. The broccoli was a bit rubbery. The white rice that accompanied was fine. The total was around $27 (tip separate.) My stomach felt "off" for 2 days after eating here. I won't be going back.

Crispy fresh chicken wings. I made up a order and they got it right..rice noodles,shrimp, broccoli with black bean sauce..cooked to perfection. The woman said call the store to tell them what I think. I had a better idea and put this review. Friendly people. I'll definitely be back

In all the years I’ve eaten there, I have never gotten sick from the food. That’s a plus!
