China Taste
Delicious, hot food, always ready in 10-15 minutes. The two gentlemen at the front are always very polite and kind. I order the chicken broccoli, which has excellent meat and fresh broccoli.
I had heard that this location had changed ownership recently, I drove right past Asian Star in leetsdale to go out of my way to coraopolis just to try the food with the new owner - big mistake ! Their food is more expensive and not nearly as good. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was just mediocre, it lacked the normal spices and flavor - it tasted like everything was cooked in beef broth rather than being mildly hot and spicy like Kung Pao is supposed to be. It was even watery rather than saucy. I was asked if I wanted white rice or fried rice thinking I was being given a choice - they failed to mention the going with the fried rice would be at least $2 more. By the time I paid and left it was $17.11 with tax which makes it $4 and $5 more than most other places for food that was only substandard. Even the fried rice was not very good, it was basically just rice it was fried in a little oil - no flavor whatsoever and not at all like normal fried rice from anywhere else. This place was a huge and pricey disappointment. It was not at all of the quality it used to be war of the quality of the other local Chinese restaurants. I've had Chinese from all over the United States and this by far was the worst of all. Never again will I bother going there even if I was right there nearby - instead I would travel out of my way to leetsdale ambridge or five points because it would certainly be worth the trip. Anyone who claims this is really good Chinese food or worse yet the best or great obviously does not know good Chinese food - therefore no credibility and no relevance.
Yip's Garden
They have a new owner. The place looks really clean and I ordered the shrimp lo mein and it’s pretty good. Staff is also really friendly. I recommend this place.
Let’s get this right. 0 stars. I was excited to try this place as I had never been before, and I was hoping for something decent even closer to home. Unfortunately, they did not even come close to decent. I’ve seen albinos with more of a tan than their chicken. Their fried rice had no flavor. I don’t know what other ingredients they used to flavor it, but I’m pretty sure it’s just whatever oil is in the pan. No egg, soy sauce that could barely be seen and definitely not tasted, 0 veggies, … their sweet-and-sour chicken was generic and instead of sweet-and-sour sauce on the side, they served it with duck sauce. Their pork and garlic sauce, literally tasted like over cooked pork with 0 garlic in a pool of oil. Their lo mein had no flavor, was soaking in a pool of oil as well, and their four seasons was as bland as they come. The best part of my meal was the prepackaged crispy noodles from some third party they ordered bags from. This was a total disappointment and a complete waste of money. We threw our food in the trash.
New China Tung Inc
Terrible portion size .. i ordered a 20$ meal and got almost 90% string beans (off Uber eats ) i thought digging and mixing would reveal more .. nope.
Ordered a beef broccoli with rice large size. You can only get the broccoli with 4-5 slices beef. Need to go other restaurant pay extra protein.
Lucky Mao
I picked up the order and was surprised by the fact that it was a ghost kitchen, but was pleasantly surprised by the Dan Dan Noodles! They were amazing! Most other places are flavorless and dry, but these were everything but that. Great portion, amazing price, and great flavor!
Look, I do not know anything about mixed reviews, but I decided to take a risk. I received: great, fresh food full of flavor; beef and veggies were very fresh and fried to perfection full of flavor; noodles and not overdone and are fried to good texture. Crab rangoons are filled with good quality meat and, and it feels like fried in butter rather than oil. And, their egg roll, it is twice as big as one offered at any other standard places and packed with flavor as well. So yes, for the price, it is a GREATTTTT option! Thank you ☺️
New Far East
I ordered from here close to their closing time. Within the last hour of business that night anyway. The food was affordable with good portions and the staff were super friendly which is my favorite part. Will definitely come back soon to try the dumplings.
So good well cooked to perfection and the egg roll is nice and crispy and taste amazing best place to get lunch not expensive at all
CHF Chinese Restaurant
I stumbled across CHF at lunchtime. Great $7.95 lunch specials. The bean curd with mushrooms was fresh and delicious. Friendly service and restaurant is very clean.
Given the reviews of CHF, we were expecting to enjoy the meal, and the food was disappointing at best. Sesame chicken was crispy fried ...nothing. There was nearly no chicken in the dish, and the sauce tasted like ketchup, which isn't our favorite style. The chicken egg foo young was flavorless and dry, we couldn't find any chicken in it, and the sauce was congealed, oily, and not good. The ma po tofu was just a little spicy, oddly soupy, not a trace of Szechuan peppercorn, and I didn't find any pork in it. Definitely not ma po tofu by anyone's definition (but at least it had tofu in it). We took out a lot of food for a reasonable price, served by a pleasant person, and threw almost all of it away after eating just a bit.
Hing Wong
There are a ton of Chinese restaurants in the area, but this is the only one who does everything RIGHT. Lo main on point with lots of ingredients. Chicken and Broccoli with a sauce that is to die for. Dumplings not overly cooked and full of flavor. Fried rice cooked right with great flavor and also that isn't yellow (I don't know why there are so many places around here with yellow fried rice). Soups with actual flavor and not just fake stock. and it is all FRESH!!! All the ingredients you can tell are fresh and cooked the right way. When you have so many options of these classic dishes, you should eat from a place that just does it right. This is that place.
This has been our favorite take out and delivery Chinese restaurant for a few years. We always get the free General Tso’s chicken when you spend $40/$45 dollars. Tonight we tried the lobster, Cantonese style. The Ginger scallion is breaded and deep fried in the shell like soft shell crab. The Cantonese was served in a bowl of very hot gooey liquid with peas and carrots in it. I highly recommend most of their food, but I’d skip the lobster.
China Us
One of my new quick eats spots, to brighten up any long morning with fresh meals and a nice sitting area.
There are self-service weighed Asian dishes (fried noodles, fried chicken, pasta, etc.) for $12/pound. The soup is a bit salty, and it operates like a supermarket with an inside seating area. Lunch costs about $50 for a family and is right opposite the exit after visiting the Empire State Building.
China Wok
This restaurant promised an authentic Chinese culinary experience, but sadly, it fell far short of expectations. The General Tso's chicken was disappointingly bland, lacking the expected sweet and savory balance, and the sauce was gloppy and overly thick. The egg rolls were greasy and the filling tasted primarily of cabbage, with little evidence of any other ingredients. The fried rice, while advertised as "special," was anything but, resembling plain boiled rice with a few scattered peas and carrots. The service was also lacking; our server seemed disinterested and we had to flag them down multiple times for refills and the check. The atmosphere was noisy and the tables felt cramped. Overall, a disappointing and overpriced meal. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a genuine or even a satisfying Chinese food experience.
I order from this place since like 2007. I have not bee there for a few years, and just ordered again today. The food now is not the same anymore. They no longer taste the same or even make an effort for it to be what it use to be. The quality of the food had gone down. Most likely change of owners.
Grand Sichuan House
The portion of the food is huge and the taste is above average based on NYC standard. Didnt experience the poor service that was mentioned in other reviews. Good experience overall!
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. The food was overall average in taste. I ordered the hot and sour soup. The soup was bland with not much flavor. The soup was a quart size and received a half bag of noodles. The steamed dumplings are typical of most takeout. The spring rolls were very small. The chicken dishes were limited in taste. The white rice was good.
Paradise Taste China
Been eating here for more than 5 years, amazing every time food always looks so delicious.
I see a lot of bad reviews, just stopped in picked up some half combo meals.. pork fried rice was tasty and fresh, chicken and broc had good flavor, sesame chicken was ok(kind of spongey) veggie lo mein was delicious. Fast service, pretty good pricing
Spring Garden
One of the best Chinese takeout for both General Tso chicken and beef and broccoli! They use big sized chunks of chicken in their general tso, where others may often use more batter than chicken. Their pork fried rice with egg is also extremely delicious as well with a generous helping of pork pieces! They're generally pretty quick with their orders too which is a plus! Highly recommend to get your Chinese takeout fix! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
My girlfriend found a hair in her food. Definitely not a great experience. The price isn't bad. It's just the quality. Becareful where you decide to order food.
