Small, dark place. Needs more lighting for sure. I've had sushi all over Dayton and this was the worst sushi I've had. It was tasteless for some reason, and not a lot of fish in it. Even the white tuna was tasteless. I'm guessing they order the cheapest quality sushi they can. I ordered a volcano roll and the salmon portion was so small inside the roll, it was like I was just eating rice and cream cheese! The shrimp tempura roll had so much avocado in it, all I could taste was mushy avocado and rice. It was like eating baby food. The sushi was just very "off". I'll stick to Shen's or literally anywhere else..

I ordered a full array of take out just to get a wide birth of samples and it all was quite good! Very good egg rolls, and all standard quality of lo mein and sweet and sour chicken and such. It wasn't amazing, but still quite good! Next up is to try their sushi, when I picked up my order it seemed like that was what most people had ordered.

Great food, I'll be happy to go back. The tempura was cooked perfectly. The sushi was made beautifully, and that's the one thing I forgot to take a picture of. The house salad was not my favorite, but it was fresh enough. I just prefer the creamy type of ginger dressing. It was quite busy on a Saturday night, and our waiter did a fantastic job. If you struggle to open heavy doors, like me, the entrance here is a bit difficult. Though they have a nice ramp to the entrance if you're using a wheelchair or walker.

This place is HUGE. Very good...certainly better than the Sichuan places we have in Cincinnati. A couple of things that keep it from 5 stars. They need to offer LAMB as a meat option and the menu could be a little more creative...i.e. offering hot pots, frog legs and tripe.

First time eating there I ordered shrimp lo mein, unfortunately had absolutely no taste. There was no sauce on it at all 🫤

I stopped in to get a quart of chicken fried rice. Young lady took my order, said it would be about 10 minutes. I sat down to wait, and instantly they tell me my order is ready. I even laughed and said "that was really quick" and there was no comment. When I got home the food was cold, obviously had been sitting there - possibly made for someone else who didn't pick up their order or was extra. It was not good. I won't be going back.

I ordered half of the famous imperial concubine chicken at Double Lucky Star, but was extremely disappointed to find that a portion of the leg was missing. The best piece of the chicken leg. This felt deceptive, as I paid for half a chicken and did not receive what I was promised. If you’re charging for a specific portion, you should deliver the full serving! Maybe it was a mistake but if they intentionally took the part out for other purpose then it reflects poorly on the restaurant’s integrity. Its a shame because the chicken actually tasted pretty good.

A causal Cantonese Hong Kong style fast food stall with extensive menu and decent prices in a food court of a Chinese supermarket.

We paid $13.59/person for the lunch buffet. They did not have prices posted but as the last menu picture 7 months ago was $12.99 the $0.50 increase was within expectations. They also have a sign on their door about getting 10% off for rating them "5+" which makes me question the validity of some of their reviews. That said, I told them I was leaving a review and they gave us the discount without asking What my review was so there is that. The waitresses were very prompt on drink refills and removing plates. The sushi tasted really good. Though the selection was lacking compared to many buffets, I would say what they did have was better than many others. The crab cheese Rangoons have a different filling. It was sweeter than regular cream cheese and made it taste like more of a dessert. It seemed to be the same filling as the stuffed mushrooms. The soft serve machine worked and they had raspberry sauce to put on it for a unique touch.

Had some yummy sushi, chicken, shrimp, seafood, it all tasted great! We are big on going to sushi buffets when we travel to save time and money 2 adults for a Tuesday cost $33 not counting tax, the soft serve was great and the cheese cake too!

Fresh, fast and delicious. We went here for lunch around when it opened. We are usually a bit cautious with buffet because I don't like the idea of food sitting, which is why we go early. Food was fresh and well prepared when we arrived. We saw the food constantly get replaced and refilled with fresh food. All cooked food was a nice hot temperature. All cold food was over ice and kept cold. Sushi was very nice and very fresh. Staff was very attentive with clearing plates and filling drinks. Overall, great experience. Nothing negative to say - except for some of the patrons loudly watching things on their phones, but that isn't the restaurant's fault, some people suck.

Wow, what a great place. Excellent food… Lots of food! This is a great place to bring the family, they have lots of Seating. Beautiful decor, and clean!

Did a mobile order and this is the ā€œBeijing Beefā€ I received as my portion after moving the broccoli that tasted as though it was a day old out of the way. Not to mention the crab Rangoon’s that looked as though they were maybe cooked for 30 seconds and were cold to the touch like they had been sitting out since the morning shift. That’s ridiculous and I’d like to see you try to serve that to someone who was ordering in line.

First time to eat here and probably the last time because; The rice was clearly old , day old hard tasting, unpleasantness that I had to drown in sauce to dress up for taste which still had that dry old crunchy taste. The orange chicken was MID and the only thing worthy of note was the teriyaki chicken which was actually flavorful. But that rice my god was down right awful and taught me to save my money and stick to house special rice at china delight and east buffet

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Service was great, generous portion sizes, and the food was delicious. One of the dishes was a little bit salty, but it goes well with rice. The spicy tofu dishes here are mouthwatering spicy! Flavorful and spicy, hits that sweet spot on a cold day. Been itching for something hot and spicy, this place hits that spot :)

Spicy and authentic food. My husband (non Chinese) liked the Beef with Black Pepper 黑椒牛. I liked Steamed Sliced Pork Belly in Spicy Garlic Sauce č’œę³„ē™½č‚‰. Kong Pao Chicken 宫äæéø”has nice flavor, but it has so many peppercorns that I had to pick them off slowly. Sliced beef & Tofu in Hot Chilly Sauce豆花ē‰›is very spicy. We need to ask for low spicy level next time.

If you’re on the hunt for a reliable Chinese restaurant, look no further than our favorite spot! The food is consistently delicious, and the customer service is always commendable. This restaurant truly stands out with its generous portion sizes; we always leave feeling completely satisfied after our meals. During our latest visit, we ordered Mala Tang and Salt and Pepper Pork, and they did not disappoint. The Mala Tang was a delightful explosion of flavors, loaded with fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked ingredients swimming in a spicy, aromatic broth. Meanwhile, the Salt and Pepper Pork was crispy, savory, and seasoned to perfection, making it a must-try. Moreover, the cleanliness of the establishment is worth noting. It’s clear that they take pride in maintaining a tidy environment for their guests. Overall, this restaurant is undoubtedly our go-to for Chinese cuisine. With great food, attentive service, and a clean atmosphere, it’s a perfect place to enjoy a satisfying meal. Highly recommended!

Feb 2025 My parents had heard about this place and decided to check it out for lunch. The place was dimly lit with soft instrumental music in the background. The staff were polite, friendly, and good about refilling our waters. Note they seem to default to speaking Chinese to Chinese customers. They had 4 person booths around the edges. There were 2-10 person rectangular tables and 6 person round tables (without lazy susans). There was also one 6 person round booth in the back left corner. I also saw 2 private rooms in the back. The food was tasty, if light in flavor. The general tso chicken was apparently not sour enough. Note the golden crispy chicken has a sweet & sour sauce. The chicken for both was tender and moist, with an average amount of breading. The Beijing duck was yummy, coming with a generous amount of shredded cucumber and spring onion. The duck bones were also served, cooked with some additional veggies. One very negative note was the spring roll. It looked good, a nice golden brown, but tasted like it had been cooked in rancid oil. Be wary. Overall, decent service and decent food. We may or may not come again.

A quaint mom and pop local spot that's charming as it is flavorful! I order the general tso chicken, very very good, the combination fried rice and the steamed vegetable dumplings which are amazing! Definitely recommended!

Service is quick and friendly. Unfortunately the food was not it for us. The chicken in both plates tasted really old (like it was reheated and tossed in). We did like the pork fried dumplings the best. Almost everything is served in to go containers so you can easily pack your leftovers and take them home which is nice. Could’ve been just an off day when we visited since a lot of reviewers seem to enjoy it.

A Bite of China is great if you're looking for comforting Cantonese food in the Rockville area. I enjoyed the flavorful Hainan Chicken & Rice paired with dipping sauces. I haven’t tried other items on the menu. The restaurant itself is casual—good for a low-key dinner or a meal with friends and family.

I have never ate Chinese food BETTER than this place! A bite of China is the most amazing restaurant I have been too! The food comes in large portions and is not hurtful at all towards your wallet! My family and I were very delighted eating here! I will for sure be coming here in the future! The workers as well are very kind and attentive! If you are having doubts or wondering if you should eat in, you must! It is amazing food I am happy to have eaten!

Food was better a few years ago. We went with the family during the holidays and they were a mess. Entrees came out one by one. With a proper chinese meal, you would want most of the dishes arriving close together so you can eat them all together. Two of the dishes came out cold. We had to remake it but they just tossed it back in the wok. The Peking Duck seems like they cheated us and was missing quite a bit of meat. Service from the servers was terrible this time. Years ago it was much better. Might give them another try.

This is a cozy little Chinese restaurant. Its sign is easy to miss from the street, and the exterior appears a bit worn. Parking is limited, but usually sufficient unless it's completely full. Inside, the decor is simple and straightforward. The food here is not exceptional, but it's decent. The portions are sized such that if each person orders a dish, there won't be any leftovers. Prices are quite reasonable compared to other Chinese restaurants. This spot is great for catching up with closed friends over a casual meal and chat. However, it's not the ideal choice for hosting formal gatherings or entertaining guests.
