Best Egg Drop Soup I have had in a decade! Best comfort food when sick. Everything in our order was perfect. We had it delivered, our order was well packaged and still hot.

We have dined at countless Asian restaurants and have high standards for Chinese cuisine. Everything here is amazing and it really shocked me. The flavors are also excellent.

Went by from church on the way home. It was takeout. It was really fast. The service was great and the food was great. Not as good of a deal as it use to be. It was just under $10 for the lunch special. I got Chicken with broccoli. It came with an egg roll.

Service good. Food very bad. The fried rice, sweet sour chicken, egg roll, fried pot stickers all tasted like they came from the same grease fryer. I have eaten there off and on for years. My only guess is they have changed owners or managers. Will never go back.

I always order food delivery, I like Chinese food in general all over the USA this place is one of top 2 carry out Chinese food restaurants šŸ˜‹ an absolute delight to do business with very nice people and excellent fast service. The food is awesome Price wise ? Well you should check out the lunch specials well worth every penny CheeeeeerRs āš˜ļø King Star and THANK U For your Service. You are a True Louisville Asset Bless you & yours Hearts.

FYI when you go and get the buffet make sure you pay cash. If you use your debit/credit card they charge you an additional 3 dollars to use a card. They do not tell you about the additional charge and there is no info hanging up about the charge. I know it’s 3 dollars but if I wanted to pay $16 for food I could have went to a bigger buffet. Check your bank accounts.

Food was quick. Parking was easy. The price was good. The food is so-so. I did enjoy that the orange chicken sauce was very "orangey". The lo mien needed a lot of soy sauce and the chicken was okay quality. Decent for price, but nothing amazing.

Nice little eating spot. Clean, good food. Crab ragoons are awesome. Highly recommend

We had to pay $14 for ramen that turned out to be just regular noodles, and the taste was absolutely terrible. When we complained, the cashier insisted it was ramen, but it was very clear that it was just regular noodles. I also ordered a spicy shoyu ramen for $10, and even that wasn’t spicy. I had to ask the cashier, and only then did they give me the spice separately. I’ve eaten ramen at many other restaurants, but this is the first time I’ve encountered such an odd version. It tasted like simple miso soup, which usually costs only $4, with regular noodles and some pork added, but I had to pay $14—more than the shoyu ramen, which actually used proper ramen noodles. This was extremely disappointing, and I will not return to this restaurant.

I usually order a large plain lo mein for $7.50 and egg rolls for $2.35 and I also sometimes buy the $7.50 fried dumplings. So I know my total is usually the same. Less than $20-$21. And I ordered my routine and I was given a higher total but I picked up the menu and assumed the prices went up. I get into the car and search my bag and I’m missing food. I was given the huge family size lo mein for $10.50 and my egg roll was missing. My total was over $24 when it’s usually $19-$20. I don’t get how $22.65 leads to $24 and a lot of change but the cashier was slay and didn’t give me a receipt. I can assume there was an error or that the cashier thought I said ā€œfamily sizeā€ and not a large. But the missing egg roll, the high taxes and the fact that he didn’t give me a receipt after I ordered and after I picked up food is a red flag. The food isn’t bad at all though it’s not the best Chinese food or fried rice and seasame chicken. The noodles, veggie egg rolls and veggie dumplings are good. ALWAYS get a receipt and I had to go back in and ask for a missing egg roll.

Nice little Chinese restaurant downtown. Their food is great and the employees are friendly. They usually have your order ready in ten minutes or less. They keep it clean. My favorite Chinese restaurant downtown. The pork fried rice I ordered there today was delicious.

While the location is a little strange and out of the way, it is worth a visit if you like American Chinese food. While the decor is dated, it feels like a Chinese restaurant and the staff are good. The crab rangoons were sweet, which I found a little off-putting but did have actual meat in them, which I liked. The lemon chicken was good, Overall, a worthwhile experience. 4.5 rounded up to 5 for Google.

Glad we were able to try this place. The sushi was good and the free chips with sweet and sour dip were a nice touch. We sat at the bar which is nice. The place appeared to be a little empty for 5:30. A ton of carry outs! We would go back and try more rolls. Only one thing we didn’t care for was the steamed dumplings. A few beers and rolls ran us about $60 which is on par.

This restaurant has gone way downhill over the years. Tonight’s food was inedible. We ate here a few months ago and had a similar experience but wanted to give them one more chance since it used to be one of our favorites. Pad Thai was a lump of flavorless mush. Wontons so overcooked there wasn’t any crab left inside. Crispy beef was soggy and SALTY. Egg rolls greasy and undercooked. Even the wonton soup noodles tasted old. They got my $60 tonight but never again.

August Moon has been a family favorite of my Father & I at linnertime (a little after lunch, a lot before dinner;) for years!!! The food is always delicious—all time fav dishes, Shrimp Lomein, hot & sour soup. The restaurant, dining room & bar area are beautiful. And the staff — Yandi, Sebastian & Mimi are The Best! Thanks you all for so many years of delicious excellence and to many, many more šŸ˜ŠšŸ™šŸ€šŸ²šŸ§§šŸ’«āœØ

First time visit, service and food was excellent. We also had a pot of oolong tea.

This place has the best food!! We have tried 5 Chinese places since moving here- this has the best tasting food, and way better prices. Totally recommend the Kung Pau Chicken This is everything I got for $25 dollars. The scoops are no longer $1.35, but the amount of food you get for $2.50 a scoop is great! Bathrooms are gross- so we do take out.

I don't live here, so I don't really have a reason to leave a review other than to let anyone else who has a similar experience know that they aren't alone. We ordered the Chow Mein. Didn't get the noodles with it. We called the restaurant to tell them. They said "No, you should have ordered Lo Mein. Chow Mein doesn't have noodles." "The description says it comes with noodles" "No, it doesn't come with noodles" "MiƠn means noodles. Chăo means stir fried. Chow Mein is stir fried noodles" "No, that's Lo Mein" ... The food was great, I'm more just astounded. The universe is on our side, because this was in one of the fortunes.

Me and my husband wanted to try this place, we normally go to Frankfort KY to our buffet and it's a 10 stars delicious. It was a lot of people and a lot of food and it look delicious but once you put it in your mouth it was salty and over cook. My best is the frog legs and when you over cook frog legs that's a disappointment for me. My egg drop soup was not what I was use to. My stomach hurt and I didn't even eat much

Food 7/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Place has a hibachi, which is pretty good. Kinda makes up some for not having more choices/ selection in the buffet. Overall it’s a decent place to it with out braking the bank lol but have definitely been to better ones :)

Well, this place was more of a surprise than the first impressions lead on. The moment we walked in, there was no one servicing any table and the place looked like they were closed and someone forgot to lock the door. Then out comes a dude, and as excited as he is to see us and others who also arrived, he had us all seated. Insisted on the service. Once our orders were taken and drinks delivered, the food came out promptly and still steaming hot. As for that food? Amazing. The Chicken Cashew was a huge winner. And for 12 bucks, this place was giving you so much more food than any nearby stores. Definitely worth a try.

Everything was perfect! Hospitality was welcoming. I ordered pad see ew gai (wide barbecued noodles) with chicken and egg. Traditionally it is served with Thai broccoli but I opted for carrots as my preference. She was glad to accommodate without hesitation. I asked for medium spicy and it was perfect. Lately I've noticed some of my other favorite Thai restaurants have no regard for being too hot or too mild. So, I really appreciated them being spot on with the mediums by spice! Also the carrots we're perfectly tender and not too crunchy. 10/10 I highly recommend giving this establishment a try as I can see that they deserve a chance making your thai belly happy!!

Whenever we order from here we never have to wait long. They stuff the containers full so you will always have enough. Our food is always hot and made right if there was an adjustment and it always tastes great.

Absolute best Chinese food in town! This is the ONLY one we order from. Great food every time, reasonable prices, amazing staff! Love it!
