Dumpling Factory
I tried this place for the first time today. It was awesome! I loved the steamed dumplings & shrimp fried rice. The customer service was amazing. The cashier was so sweet. While I sat to wait on my food, she brought me a small taste of a dish that she shared her sister was teaching her to make. I really appreciated the gesture & it was delicious! Will definitely be back!!
I really really wanted to love this place. It’s located in the heart of west midtown. Plenty of parking. The plaza itself is new and modern but empty to the point that it’s depressing. So knowing it’s run by Chinese, we were hoping for authentic food. What we got is beyond disappointing. All 3 dishes we got were bland no flavor. Dan Dan noodle was simply just cold noodle with cucumber (which they did mention only having cucumber but the fact that it didn’t have any flavor was not informed). The pork and chive dumpling was not fresh, it had a weird taste and smell. We were gonna sit and eat there but the vibe inside the restaurant is a take out vibe with counter service. The business they seemed to have were all through delivery company. It’s safe to say we won’t be back.

Don’t take my word for it, read other reviews! Food quality and value: My Tom Kai Gai soup was all broth, no vegetables and extremely salty, inedible.$9 for three dim sum , see picture, and the food was lukewarm warm. The noodle dish is one big clump. Customer service: They didn’t have items and didn’t bother to notify me at all, but yet had the audacity to ask me why I wanted to adjust my tip. The restaurant looked nice in the inside, but was empty and tables still had their checks sitting there (not cleaning the place). The staff is not trained to communicate with customers. I was never given a receipt for the refund in tip. No chance I recommend or come back here
Some of the low reviews confused me but maybe it’s hit or miss. It was a hit for us. Came here late on a Sunday evening and were pretty much the only people here. We ordered off menu drinks that were delicious made specially by Walter - find him if you come here! He made our experience great! For food we weren’t starving, so we got the garlic cheese buns, smash sliders, and drunken noodles - all were delicious! The garlic cheese buns were recommended by our server and had a pleasant creamy cheesiness to them. It was a Hawaiian roll with melted cheese, garlic and some sort of creamy something inside. Been here twice and have not been disappointed, so don’t let some of the lower reviews scare you too bad - give it a shot! We’ll be back!
Hsu's Gourmet
Fast friendly service and delicious food. I ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken. The flavor was fabulous and the portion was just right. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and they use white table cloths on all tables. I highly recommend.
If you are looking for a place to carry your sweetheart for a wonderful meal, this is the place. They know how to prepare Peking Duck and how to present it. It's very relaxing and cozy.
Xi'an Gourmet House (Midtown)
My husband and I stopped by this cozy restaurant. Food is great and I love the student cafe atmosphere. We ordered lamb noodles and mixed vegetables. Parking is free for an hour with easy access from the garage to the restaurant but you need to check the registration man how to park (it’s on the Mark garage behind the restaurant and you will see the arrow showing you the way to the restaurant). The young man in the registration carries all front line business and he is a very effective, efficient manager with sophisticated social skills to handle conflicts. I witnessed that he managed in a polite manner, an unreasonable and dirty talking customer. In this way he resolved the issue and maintained a good customer service to all clients. I wish my son will be as mature as he is and resolve conflicts with principle and rules and good social skills.
First time here and I wish I could rate this higher, but I can't. I ordered carryout to take back to my hotel room for dinner. Ordered the Beef Scallion Pancake and the Beef Noodle in Soup. Before departing, I asked the staff if napkins and utensils were in the bag. They assured me they were. Upon arriving back to my room and opening the tied plastic bag and stapled brown bag, there were no utensils or napkins in the bag. Not a good first impression. The Beef Scallion pancake was very good. Hot, with great flavor. The beef noodle bowl broth had very good flavor. However, almost every piece of stew beef that it came with was tender.....but very fatty. Some pieces were so bad I couldn't eat them. I would suggest that you pay the upcharge and pay for a different meat.

Why didn’t anyone tell me this restaurant has been open for the past 5 years?! So glad we discovered it. The food is AMAZING and so full of flavor. Who would think to put Mongolian beef with fried rice and pineapple?! The pork egg rolls with the duck sauce were also too good! If you like steamed dumplings they have some good ones. The cocktails were delicious! Really enjoyed the frozen tequila based one. The service was so great from everyone. It’s kid friendly too. The decor is unique and feels like a great place to enjoy a great meal with people you love. Can’t wait to go back to try the pizzas!
My partner and I have been eyeing this spot for a while and decided to stop in tonight. We are OBSESSED. The food, the atmosphere, THE SERVICE 🤩 our server and the manager on duty were attentive and fun and warming. Highly recommend the coconut curry noodles and the Brussels! We also had the espresso martini, the lychee martini, the lemon pepper fried mushrooms and the biscotti chocolate cake. Not a s i n g l e complaint and being able to pay towards the staff’s health insurance was a cherry on top! Thank you JenChan’s!!
Noodoh Asian Fusion & Bar
Noodoh is awesome for trying authentic takes on many different Asian cuisines, offering huge portions and great prices. Really loved their Milk Tea and Moscow Mule as well. I’m definitely glad we stopped in!
Excellent food, great service, great atmosphere. Ill be honest, we picked Noodoh Bar because it's at our hotel and we were tired after travelling for 18 hours. But Id absolutely pick it a second time in a heartbeat. The pork bone broth soup was spectacular. Delicious hearty broth with a perfect flavor balance of savory, acidity, and salty. But the pork belly chunks in it are sublime. My partner had the chicken mixed noodles, also great. We shared a pickled potato dish that was a $1 special - also super good - and spring rolls. Great food, good prices.
Hawkers Asian Street Food
We visited this restaurant because my kids wanted Satay Chicken Skewers, and it was the highest-rated option nearby. They were not disappointed! They loved the skewers and enjoyed the spring rolls, though they were a bit greasy. However, communication from the waiter could have been better. One of my kids has a peanut allergy, and despite informing the staff, peanuts were accidentally added to her meal, which had to be replaced. I also had to follow up with the waiter about the delay in receiving our food. Overall, the food was great, but the service could use some improvement. I will be returning!
My experience was dynamic. The Seoul hot chicken served with the great range of alcohol made for the perfect spring day. The seatability was wonderful too, allowing you to enjoy the fullness of the beltline's scenery as you dined. Ask for David, he serves extremely well and his customer care is as exquisite as the overall atmosphere.
Suzy Siu's Baos
These kind of indoor markets with different mini restaurants always tend to look nice and have bad food, but I wanted to at least give it a shot before judging so I got a pork belly rice bowl and my boyfriend got a tonkatsu ramen. The workers were nice, but the food was definitely not worth the price and you’re really just paying for the “vibes.” My pork belly was just two or three flavorless, overcooked crunchy pieces, bok choy was cold and I really just ate it because I needed to eat not because I enjoyed it. The ramen barely had any meat and the noodles were not properly cooked. Not worth the $30 we spent.
Suzy Siu’s Baos in Krog Street Market had delicious buns (not baos like the name or picture suggest). The Korean BBQ Beef buns were so flavorful. 4 stars though because the service was terrible. The “food runner” was rude and didn’t apologize for their slow service, even though a 10-min wait time was promised. One of our two orders came out right away so just wouldn’t own up. I would be back but hopefully wouldn’t have to interact with the dark-haired girl. I forgot to get a picture of the “baos”.
Pacific Rim Bistro
So we check in the hotel and was ready to eat something close and walking distance from us. This restaurant popped up and we loved every bit of it. The staff was nice and friendly and even remade a drink that had an ingredient that I have an allergy to. THE FOOD!!! OMG!!! The Lemon Twist Sushi Roll is one of the best rolls I've ever had. Eat a piece in one bite for the full experience. Im coming back just for that.
The service really stood out here! All of the servers were attentive, refilled the water, and often asked if I needed anything. The food was really good too, especially the calamari. They have some awesome lunch specials that you won’t want to pass up.
La Moon Atlanta
We went here to have an anniversary lunch. The place looks great. We sat down and ordered cocktails. We saw them make the cocktails and we watched them sit as plates were cleared checks were provided, credit cards taken. Yes, lunch meant only one server. Still think our drinks could have been served before bussing the only two occupied tables besides ours. We decided to have the cocktails only when we were told most apps came frozen and weren't made on site. Really had high hopes. I did love the feather on my cocktail glass.
This was my first time. Food was excellent. Service on point. Music was not loud at all, just right. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I wasn't sure there was much on the menu for kids.
Poor Calvin's
We spent part of our date weekend celebrating two amazing months together at Poor Calvin’s, and as always, it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone—elegant, cozy, and just the right level of energy for a romantic evening. The customer service was top-tier. Every interaction with the staff felt warm and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in making each visit special. Now let’s talk about the drinks—crafted to perfection. The cocktail menu is creative, and everything we ordered had that perfect balance of flavor and presentation. Each sip felt like a celebration. And the food… absolutely exceptional. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. You can taste the thought and quality in every bite. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, the consistency is what keeps you coming back. Poor Calvin’s never misses. It was the perfect spot to mark a meaningful moment with someone special. Highly recommend for date nights, anniversaries, or just when you want to treat yourself to an experience that feels effortlessly elevated.
This was the best Asian fusion I’ve ever had. Ashley was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her knowledge of the menu and how she explained items were high class. The food was unforgettable. However, Ashley made the experience one not to forget. I will never forget my trip to Atlanta because of the visit to Poor Calvin.
Ruby Chow's
Had a great first experience at Ruby Chow’s. I made a reservation at the bar on a Friday at 7:30, which at first I felt silly about, but was glad I did once it started to pick up. Paul, who was my bartender/server was awesome. He gave great recommendations and despite how busy it was, kept checking on me. The drink I had was really good, and the food was delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere was really great and the music was very refreshing. My only pain point was not taking something to go. I will definitely be back!
Came on a busy Friday night without a reservation and was able to get seated immediately at the bar. Their drinks were okay. My drink was a bit too sweet for my liking but the food made up for it. I recommend the scallops and the roasted bone marrow. Scallops in particular was super buttery and just melted in my mouth.
