Lucky China Wings & Sub
Firstly... who puts lettuce on a Philly? It sucked. Cheap meat and bread too hard. 3/10 I ordered braised wings and they were EXTREMELY spicy. Like my mouth is on fire. Who has ever heard of spicy braised wings?? 2/10 BARELY EDIBLE The rice would have been okay if they didn't drizzle that spicy wing sauce everywhere... the shrimp spring rolls were good. Won't order here again!!
They should really have a 0-star rating for this restaurant. The food is absolute garbage. The customer service is even worse. If you enjoy getting food you didn't order then being hung up on when you call to tell them then by all means go for it. We got three entrees the only thing edible was the one cream cheese wonton. The first photo is or was suppose to be broccoli with garlic sauce. What I got was sweet and sour uncooked broccoli. I was told on the phone that I should have told them I wanted my broccoli tender. Oh and if you order the beef teriyaki which is actually beef and mixed vegetables make sure you tell them how to make it because they don't know.
Tin Drum Asian Kitchen & Boba Tea Bar - Georgia Tech
A love letter in dining: I wont be able to fully describe how life changing this restaurant is, but I’ll do my best. Tin Drum has a special place in heaven and my heart. Over the past two months, I have spent close to $250 on Tin Drum. The food is the BEST Asian I have had in Atlanta in two years. Hands down. The ramen with pork belly, Singaporean curry noodles, and most of all, Chinese-Mongolian stir fry with pork belly and mushrooms are incredible. With the brown sugar milk tea, Thai tea, or pineapple peach tea, it physically hurts me when I go a week without eating their food. Don’t be afraid to try their fried chicken sandwich and crinkle fries — better than any burger and fries I’ve had in a long, long time. Been hooked since the first time. Can’t describe how good the food is, only my photo album filled with Tin Drum can. The service is so fast, employees so nice, restaurant so clean, and energy both peace and alive. With only $10-15 per bowl, it is one of the cheapest options for good quality food out here. As a food loving Tech student, I’ve been to all Tech Square restaurants, but none of them compares to Tin Drum. Tin Drum isn’t just a restaurant— it’s a way of life. It’s my safe haven. It’s my home.
Great restaurant if you have a bit of time. Ordering was pretty quick because you use tablets. I appreciate that the water refill is accessible to anyone instead of having to ask someone to refill it every time like other restaurants. Our food came out relatively quickly. I got lo mein with chicken. The chicken was very good and the sauce was as well. For the price point, it has very good food.
Panda Express
If you ask for a plate (1 base 2 protein) the barely put some protein on it, you can see how the employees hesitate with the protein.
I had my first Panda Express meal in the U.S. at here and the plate (two kinds of meat and rice or noodle) costs $10 now. The mushroom chicken is pretty good.
China Breeze
December 2024 Service: 5/5 I had a quick lunch before working on a Friday afternoon around 11 AM. There were no crowds, but the young lady that served the food was really sweet and kind. Allowed me to try a sample of whatever I’d like. Prices: 5/5 I paid $10 for one meat; the Szechuan chicken and two sides; the vegetables and fried rice. I think it’s a pretty good deal for compared to cost right now. Ambiance: 5/5 Again, the young lady was really sweet and kind. She made me feel welcome and seen. Taste/Textures: 5/5 Who does delicious! I don’t know if it’s the ms G, or the fact that I saw the chef walking in with a bag of raw meat, lol. Very tangy and very delicious. Value: 5/5 Great pricing on this food and tastes are amazing. Quick service and they do offer KOCH to serve items as well as a buffet. TLDR: This is an ATL staple. If you’re at the CNN center, get some Chinese food from China to breeze. 5/5
The China Breeze is located in the CNN Building. It is always busy, food is fresh and tasty, portions are good, and the choices are sufficient. I appreciate the food quality, friendly staff, and food temperature. I eat at this location when I am attending events at the Georgia World Congress Center. Always great experience.
Panda Express
Yesterday afternoon I ordered a Family Meal from Panda Express. This location was. The only location that was offering delivery. I never preferred from this location but never had a bad experience with Panda Express before. I ordered at 1:30 for my order to be delivered around 4:30 as that was the cut off time. The whole day I got updated on my order and at 4.20 I got a text my order need specific delivery instructions. Shortly after I got a message about my order being delivered at 5:06 and 5:20 pm. I thought they were just running behind. At 4:41 I got a message my order was canceled. And I contacted the support for Panda Express Delivery (Door Dash) and was told that my order was not canceled and I was able to contact a driver who said he was just assigned my order and was outside the location and the location was closed. Like wtf? Online the place wasn’t closing until around 5:30 and the whole time I’m still getting updated about my order. I lost out on a coupon code from PE and a 40 charge for my transaction is still on hold. I will never order from here again and will stick to my regular location even if it’s 20 mins out the way. Th have better service and efficiency. I will also not ever have anything delivered more specifically through Door Dash whether it’s through DD app or a 3rd party company using DD for their delivery services. Their customer service on both ends suck. Today I called the Gilmer Street Location and again like yesterday nobody answered the phone s. I complained through Panda Express app and will never return to this location ever.
Don’t do it. Ordered for delivery. Awful customer service. Called to checked on my delivery, the girl answer the phone with a attitude and tells me she can’t help me and keep telling me I order it for pickup over and over again And then hung up. No way to get a refund without a headache and slow response
Hong Kong City
Ordered my food through DoorDash as soon as I opened it up to eat I seen worms on my broccoli!!!!
I did not dine at the restaurant. I’m recovering from surgery so my husband and I ordered delivery. The service was fast and the food was great! Your typical Americanized Chinese food, but we are from out of town and have never eaten at this restaurant, so we took a chance. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken combination plate with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll. My husband ordered Sesame Chicken with chicken fried rice and a regular egg roll. They were all just as good as we expected - Delicious! The food arrived hot and correctly made. Our only complaint is the crab Rangoon was soggy and seemed as if it had been sitting around. It was not light and crispy in a wonton, but almost like the wonton been breaded and fried. Lastly, add some tempura shrimp to the menu, lighten up the crab Rangoon, and it would be perfect!
PANDA WOK
You can eat inside but this place is for more like taking out. You can choose with buffet style (one scoop $2.5) or from meal menus ($12~). I choose buffet style and took 2 kinds of cuisine, the amount as enough for one person for one meal and it was good. The price was super cheap. Probably I will come back again.
I order braise wings with rice and a egg roll. The food didn’t have any taste just bland an extremely wet/big and the egg roll was not done. This is one of the worst place on the the south side of town. This isn’t authentic Chinese food you would better off making your own food at home. I cannot wait to go in the morning to show her my food an I woulld not be coming back here AGAIN!!!
Mr. Hibachi
Food was absolutely delicious, highly recommended the teriyaki chicken!
This is the worst hibachi I have ever gotten in my life. How is it hibachi and it doesn't automatically come with rice. But, tells you too to choose two side this is just beyond ridiculous. Anyone who is ordering hibachi would assume it comes with rice automatically. Am I wrong ?? So I am at work for the next 5 hour with just meat and flavorless egg rolls and shrimp tempura. I would highly recommend going else where for hibachi. I would honestly give zero stars if I could. Buyers beware
Cafe Momo
Good healthy options for lunch. Hot sandwiches, burgers, buffet and salad bar.
I eat here for lunch a couple of days a week because I work downtown and I would always get the hot bar, but I switched it up and got a tuna and my mind was blown. It was the best sandwich I have had in years.
Bull Gogi
Located in The Hub food court, Bull Gogi offers a decent selection of meats, vegetables, and toppings to build your meal. The quality of the ingredients is satisfactory, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which enhances the overall experience. However, I have some concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment, which could use improvement. While it’s a convenient and tasty option for a quick bite, a little more attention to hygiene would make it even better. Overall, it’s worth a try if you’re in the area and craving Korean-inspired flavors.
So I stopped by here real quick to get some to eat on my lunch break . I ordered fried rice and teriyaki chicken. The fried rice tastes exactly like peanut butter for some reason and the teriyaki chicken tastes burnt . It was only $8.35 ,but I will not be returning to this establishment because why does my food taste like this ?? But presentation wise the food looked good and clean .
SS EXPRESS ALL AFRICAN & HALAL FOOD
I'm extremely pissed off. I ordered egusi my bowl isn't even halfway full. I won't be ordering from them again. I definitely don't recommend. My beef is touching the bottom of the bowl and my soup only halfway touches the meat.
I ordered Waakye and I was very disappointed in the amount of meat, sauce and spaghetti given. This meal normally is my favorite but this meal was so DRY, I couldn’t even eat it! I wasted $28.76 having this meal delivered via uber eats! The spaghetti was a spoonful like they ran out of it, I had more beans & rice than anything else and I’m used to this dish having a perfect ratio, with red stew sauce for moisture. The fish given was so small and overcooked. Not sure if I’ll order from here again…
Rajulas Kitchen
Great food!! Very fast service. Good for takeout. Vada paav are awesome. Bhel amazing!!! Worth trying.
This used to have one of the best chapatis. However their quality has nose dived recently. The chapati are either too hard or too small. Even within the same pack there is no guarantee of consistency
