Saigon Asian Bistro
I had only once tried this place when my gf brought me some pho a while back when I was sick and it was so good. So today we decided to actually dine in and try some other food options they had. I have to say this is the best food I have had since moving to Ohio. The service was amazing and the food was incredible! We will definitely be back. My gf had the orange scallops and shrimp and the scallops were ginormous and delicious! I had the kung pao beef and the vegetables and the sauce were on point! Oh don’t let me forget the egg rolls and spring rolls, fantastic. Overall this is one of my new favorite spots! We had the sweetest waitress who was so sweet!
Had some seriously delicious food here. We were a vegan bunch but there were quite a few yummy dishes. Summer rolls were excellent. The portion sizes are very big so be aware of that. The pricing is reasonable.
New China Express
There’s no sushi here as the building signage says. $8 for lunch including unlimited fountain drinks. Portion is huge with mostly rice though and it’s about value and quantity here rather than taste and quality.
New Chinese Express is a great spot for a quick and satisfying lunch. The food is fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. They have a nice variety of options, so there’s something for everyone. Service is fast and efficient, making it perfect for a midday meal. If you’re looking for good Chinese food that’s convenient and tasty, this is definitely a solid choice!
Molly Woo's Asian Bistro
Been wanting to try this place as I love pf changs and was craving Chinese American cuisine . The decorations and atmosphere is very pleasing and nice . Must have been an off day for the bar area but it was very disorganized and hectic . We sat at the bar table and not greeted for some time . We eventually sat down at the bar and got our drinks and orders . Bartender was pleasant but this restaurant looks like it needed a bar back or second bartender . I expected better service as my previous Cameron Mitchell restaurant experiences were very good from beginning to end . We got spring rolls , hot sour soup , happy family, and pad Thai . While the entrees were good and decently priced, I find the hot sour soup at $8 extremely overpriced and just mediocre . The spring rolls comes in two so basically $6 for each roll. Super overpriced but they were good . Chicken pad Thai was plentiful and delicious . The happy family was also great and good portion to share . I want to give this place another try but pf Chang def better for an American style Chinese restaurant. I will come back but for a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, I do expect exceptional service and food .
My mom and I stopped in with my girls for lunch during back to school shopping. We had a great experience. The service was a little slow at the start but it picked up once we placed our main course order. Our food was hot and delicious. We shared edamame, spring and egg rolls. We each ordered a main dish and they were very accommodating something I wanted to a vegetarian version. We had chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, and hunan crispy tofu. Our lunch break was much needed and worth it. The atmosphere was neat and paid homage to the Asian culture.
Silk Road Asian Cuisine - Lewis Center, OH
I saw this restaurant a year ago but haven’t got a chance to try it. I tried this as I came to Kroger. This is small dine in restaurant as it has small 4-5 tables. Service was quick. I tried create your own and Singapore rice noodles, it was good. If you like Chinese or Thai you should try.
I heard about Silk Road from an online newsletter, so thought we should check it out. It is in the Kroger shopping center strip mall in Lewis Center. The decor is nothing to speak of, but the food and service were great! They must do the majority of their business from take out, because the greeter and cashier kind of laughed when we asked to eat in. There are about 5 tables for dine in. I started with Thai spring rolls and my husband had an egg roll. Both were good and piping hot. Then I had the Thai Red Curry with shrimp and my husband had the Create Your Own meal—fried chicken chunks with broccoli, pea pods, and carrots. My red curry was some of the best I’ve ever had, and it was quite spicy, but not too much. It had asparagus, green beans, okra, mushrooms, green and red peppers, and potatoes. I highly recommend. This was a good choice and reasonably priced with good sized portions!
Golden China
Gave this place a go from a friend's recommendation. The reviews were mediocre and not the best rating however we tried anyway. The reviews for this place are pretty accurate, 3* at best. It's a mom/pop/kid place with 1 table in there to sit at, so plan on takeout. The other table is full of school stuff and other things. They had my order ready exactly when i wanted and they seemed nice. When it comes down to the food, everything was really bland imo. The beef mai fun as you can see is white, it's like there is no sauce or anything, maybe just a little sesame oil. The egg rolls were pretty tasteless as well. The pork fried rice and the crab rangoons were good. The kung po chicken was mediocre, not much spice to it. The egg drop wonton soup was really thin, normally i see it a bit thicker. Once again that was pretty bland as well. Unfortunately, I don't think i will be back. I appreciate the service, good luck to you guys.
Great local family business! Very friendly service! I had the sesame beef and fried wontons, both were delicious.
Lin's Wok
A great place for some delicious food and warm, friendly service. Their menu offers a wide variety of options but I personally had tried their General Tso’s with fried rice, lo mein and crab rangoon my first time around. Every item on my order complimented the other and offered its own unique taste compared to other restaurants with the same menu items. If you’re in the area or debating giving Lin’s Wok a try, it will be worth your while. They have sure not seen the last of me whenever I find myself visiting the Columbus area.
Please ignore the other reviews that are saying this is the best- they are not true. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Ordered general tsos chicken, chicken fried rice and something similar to happy family. Was not impressed.. honestly don’t want to eat in fear of getting sick. The chicken was soggy and lacked flavor. The vegetables had a smell and an after taste and even the rice was mushy. I think the worst thing of all is that I called the lady to report my concerns and she said that this is the way they have always made it and if I don’t like it then go somewhere else. This is the rudest customer service experience I have ever had.worst Chinese food ever
Beijing Restaurant
My favorite Chinese place! Family-run. The food is always excellent. I've literally been eating here for decades.
It had been a couple of years before I was willing to give them another chance. What a mistake to trust them again!! First, their. packaging is pathetic. Fluid all over appetizers, everything! Spring rolls… god awful!!! Hardly spent any time in the deep fryer. Pale, tough, nasty. Fried dumplings used to be average. Even more tough, thick, & doughy!! Entrees were average. They should pay attention to the fortune cookie they gave me. It said…’Business is a lot like playing tennis; if you don’t serve well, you lose’. Well, you’ve lost me FOREVER!!!!! I’ve forgiven bad packaging & poor customer service in the past. The awful food is a dealbreaker.
Teriyaki Madness
Got this at work (catered) and we all loved it. That was over a month ago and been going to get a bowl or junior bowl once a week since. So good! Service is good too. Clean tables and not busy when I go. People seem to order ahead for take out. There are tables there to dine in if you wish too, haven’t seen a lot of people dining, but the food is delicious!
You go for the food and it is here! The portions are huge, the jr would be perfect not needing even the regular or large bowl. The options are limited outside of the meats but it makes it simple for ordering. The staff made great recommendations, came at lunch time and not a whole lot of people here, hope they make some traction and this place stays around! The JR bowl is a little pricey for what you get for a kid.
New China Express
My husband talked me into trying a new place for NYE takeout. Cleanliness: Super clean Service: Friendly, willing to answer questions about allergens and food ready quickly Food: not so great. The chicken was nasty. Some parts were chewy and other parts mushy. The crab rangoon was very good. Super disappointed after seeing all the great reviews and how clean the restaurant was. I ate the veggies from my dish and tossed all but the one bite of chicken I tried. Hubby ate about half but decided it wasn't worth the calories.
New China Express proves that not all Chinese restaurants are the same! For price, quality, and quantity I would rate them a 10/10! Starting from the friendly staff, the clean interior of the restaurant and the variety in menu they're a winner in this segment. The food was cooked perfectly without feeling overly greasy or heavy. We ordered the Crab Rangoons and Egg Rolls which were perfectly crisp. From the entrees we ordered the BBQ pork lo mein, the meat had a great smokey flavor without being dried out, and the noodles had a nice chew to them. We also order the Kung Pao chicken with fried rice, the heat level was flavorful without being too hot. We've tried the competition, but always come back to here! Don't forget to try the lunch specials, amazing value for under $10!
BIBIBOP Asian Grill
This location often gets busy during lunch & dinnertime but the line moves quickly and the wait isn’t too long. The food is prepared well, tastes good, and the environment is clean. The interior includes three ceilinged booths that are often taken during busier hours but are nice options for eating with others or if you want some space to yourself.
Food is decent like any other bibibop locations. I asked for a small amount of sauce, but I was still getting too much. Miso soup was so watery, it was like drinking hot water.
Great Asian Restaurant
The restaurant seemed fine, and the food was decent. However….. they gave us a small thing of rice each. Both our dishes were mostly vegetables. I felt like I was on a diet I didn’t ask to be on. The meals were 65% vegetables. I’d rather have more meat.
This is our favorite restaurant. The food is superb; more importantly, it is ALWAYS superb, every single time. The hot-and-sour soup is the best on the planet. I have traveled extensively, and hot-and-sour soup is my favorite. Great Asian's is the best. The service matches the food in quality; the service is fast and efficient. Further, for a small restaurant, the atmosphere is upscale, quiet, and calm, very pleasant.
Shanghai Lily
Mmm so good! I’m picky about Chinese food. I get grossed out by weird texture chicken but I’m always satisfied here. I place to go orders often and the gentleman is always kind and professional and food is great
Great prices, good food! Awesome service. Must stop!
