Oishii Sushi & Pan-Asian Dallas - Wycliff Ave
The restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. Getting seated at the open kitchen took over 10 mins, which could have been avoided. Order taking was slow given most tables were occupied. However, the food came out really quick. The food tasted great right from the appetizers to entrees. The menu is exhaustive with options for Sashimi, Sushi, rolls, pho, fried rice & more. The drinks menu offers cocktails, wines, sakes and a full bar service. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant with tables and open kitchen seating. Pricing: Moderate high for food, high for alcoholic drinks. Overall a great place for some good sushi. Definitely recommend this place.
One of the best places to eat in the city! The sushi is fresh and basically everything I’ve had here is delicious. The atmosphere is great and staff is top notch. Bonus - they have a non-alcoholic espresso martini that is SO delicious. Highly recommend this place!
THE KOI WAY
Ok, I'm a fried rice HATER. But oh my goodness, you must try NASI GORENG! (Forgot to take pics.) It's so good — we should call it the best fried rice dish in the world. Literally eye-opening. I went back the next day to try Rendang, and the beef just melted in my mouth. Soooo good😭. I think I also ordered Nasi Padang..? Anyway, it comes with soup, but they ran out of the usual and gave us some random soup... that soup was not my cup of tea, but wow, the fried chicken was amazing. Give this place a try—you will not regret it!
This was our first time trying this place and we were not disappointed in any way. Everything we ordered was boasting with flavor. We had numerous dishes: - the chicken soup was phenomenal; it was such a comforting, whole hearty soup with depths of flavor - the fried chicken was so crispy, but remained incredibly juicy - the turmeric rice was slightly sweet, but paired so well with the tender beef that was savory and velvety - the egg drop soup was balanced and perfect - the chicken skewer was simple, but had crazy flavor and smelled amazing - the fried rice and sesame chicken were such a hit, we had to order another round This place is legit. Using family owned recipes, each dish had immense flavor, touching every side of your palette and we will be returning!
WaiWai Kitchen
Ordered green curry with tofu ( fried), and the tulip dumplings ( fried). Both were absolutely delicious. Fresh vegetables in a a creamy green curry sauce. Wonderful sized portions, great price point.
I’ve been wanting to try this place and finally tried it today. The fried spring rolls were SOOO GOOD, fried to perfection and the sauce was tasty. I will be ordering again.
Asian Mint
I’ve eaten at this location for several years and on this occasion, Asian Mint delivered a 5-star experience. The pad Thai chicken wings were full of flavor. The pad kee mow was also excellent. The food felt fresh. I’ve always received excellent service. I’ve watched the atmosphere evolve from a somewhat sterile feeling environment to its current state, which feels more inviting and interesting. I’ve eaten at their other locations and I prefer the intimacy and relative quietness of this spot.
The duck dish I had was delicious. This restaurant is generally reliable for good Thai food and service. The food came out fast and everyone enjoyed it. One concern was that the employee sitting near the kitchen seemed sick, coughing and sniffling, while rolling silverware into napkins. Please, if someone is sick, send them home.
Hungry Belly
This place never disappoints! Their Naruto Roll is hands down the best fried roll I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and something I can’t stop coming back for. I also tried one of their bento boxes, and it was simply delicious. Everything was fresh, well-portioned, and full of flavor, making it a great choice if you want to try a little bit of everything. And of course, their shrimp tempura was just as amazing—light, crispy, and cooked just right. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere—definitely a spot worth visiting!
Definitely a MUST TRY spot - small parking lot - big tasty food portions - good service - atmosphere is fine, pretty close together tables, etc. A TON of TO GO and PICKUP orders - so it’s very popular. The food was a tad on the salty side for me - but it’s also part of some of the choices I made - like the Spam and adding sauces to items. But portions are large and they have a SUPER awesome Happy Hour Menu…tried the cold sake (the hot sake would have been better) but it was just okay. The spam was super salty for my taste so I could only eat one piece. The Pork Katsu Bento Box was great - a little variety of different items to try and it was super tasty!
DaLat Vietnamese Restaurant and Bar
Fabulous experience at DaLat. The food was extraordinary. Shawn was a brilliant host. The portions are perfect and the prices are extremely reasonable. I was excited to see if they'd have the karaoke but we left before I saw it. We'll be back if we're in Dallas again.
The food is delicious, but the service is where this restaurant shines. We had a large party and everything went smoothly. From ordering to food delivery to checks. Not one misstep. I, too, have done a lot of pick ups for food delivery here and have never had an issue or long wait time. This little gem knows what they're doing in food service and it shows.
The Kimchii
One of the best Bibimbap I had in the Dallas area! And for many who don’t know, you get the full experience with the Hot Stone Bowl. You can still hear the sizzling of the meat and rice once you receive your plate. You have the proteins and the veggies all in one plate that you need to satisfy your body! I recommend coming here. It may be pricey and the environment is a date-worthy location, but honestly, the staff makes you feel like you can come any way your plans are. Ps. This place is located within Ai Sushi Sake Grill.
The Korean flavor was very faint...and..No cucumber kimchi! Loved having free parking in an area of town where parking is difficult to find. Good beverages! Plenty of seating.
Hawkers Asian Street Food
I had such a fantastic time during our visit today! Huge shoutout to Kelsey, the manager on-site, and Day, our amazing server. Kelsey ensured everything ran smoothly, and Day was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our dinner. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made our experience truly memorable. The food was absolutely delicious and came out super fast! We got to try a variety of menu options, and I was so impressed by the range of flavors and cuisines. There’s an amazing variety of Asian food here—everything from curry to Korean dishes to Chinese options. Every dish we tried was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, delicious food, and diverse menu options made this a visit to remember. Highly recommend checking this place out—you won’t be disappointed!
I went to an event with a big group so it was buffet style. All of the dishes we had great flavor. The coconut shrimp was great, the golden wonton was super crispy and had a pretty good flavor and I really liked the chicken dumplings. The bao buns were good and just the right amount is soft. The ribs had a great flavor but they were a bit tough. My favorite dish was the Po Po Lo’s Chicken Curry. It had a great rich flavor and both the chicken and the veggies were cooked to perfection. I definitely order it the next time I’m there.
Eggroll Express
they simply don’t make spots like this anymore! a true hidden gem! the food is absolutely amazing and portions are more than generous for the price. on top of everything the customer service is A1.
Excellent portion size for the price, and the food was incredible. Service was great, staff was incredibly polite.
Ho Mei Express Chinese Kitchen
The first time I had Ho Mei, I thought it was great value for money, and the food wasn't too bad. However, after two more visits and trying their catering, I'm a little more tempered now. Lo mein has been good each time. Fried rice has been a little dry. The orange chicken and Korean chicken have been extra dry and hard to chew. The teriyaki chicken is good but the ginger taste is almost too strong. The Mongolian beef is 25% beef and the rest is onion and peppers. The service is great and the actual establishment is nice and clean. They also give you a lot for the price. I just wish the food wasn't so dry. Happy to change my review if this improves in the future.
This is really excellent fast casual Chinese food. Heavy emphasis on the excellent everything was delicious hot and fresh. The price was very reasonable and I was served quickly.
The Halal Guys
Tried this for the first time. Ordered the Regular Platter with Beef Gyro and Chicken and extra Beef Gyro, and extra Side of Pita bread. I recommend just getting the Beef Gyro it was delicious the chicken was not pleasant for me. It was clean and organized the woman greeted me it was busy but not chaotic like clockwork people came in and got their orders which means they have a lot of regulars I told her I have a feeling I will be a regular as well I love Gyros. They have it in a bowl and it’s a great idea the rice was delicious, the white sauce seemed homemade and had some spices in their j didn’t recognize and I loved it!! They did a great job! The pita bread was too soft for me and doughy I’m not a fan of it being that soft. But for the most part it was good. I downloaded the app to get a free drink and to try a side for free. When I told her I had just downloaded the app and was about to show her she said I couldn’t use it the first time. I have to make a purchase first and then I could add the receipt to the app. Which I thought was weird but apps do require different things. I don’t know why it was advertised in that way. I was happy to get the food and she was very polite I said no problem and agreed to pay for the drink. I did want to try a side as well. But I chose not too. Food was delicious and it’s nice to see this in this area…
We stopped here for brunch on Saturday 02/22. The staff were nice and polite. Falafel and pita bread were good, freshly served. Hummus here was one of the best I had so far, tasted really good and fresh . The restroom was kept very clean and the place is tidy and clean too. Ample parking and the outside dining is very nice place to be.
Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar
The food was phenomenal and the service even more so. Our waitress Roe took care of us from the moment we sat down and continued to provide 10 out of 10 service. Food was exceptional! Highly recommend coming on Sundays to try the smoked ribs. All the meat is falling off the bone, spiced and cooked to perfection. This place continues to lead with innovation in the Dallas food scene! Thank you to this team for providing such a nice Sunday dinner for my family
Loro is a fantastic spot for comfort food! We visited on a Monday afternoon around 3 PM, and it was very quiet, but I can see how it would be a popular weekend destination. The food was excellent—my favorite was the tofu rice ball, which I highly recommend. The flavors were rich, and everything was well-prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
