Castle Place Chinese Restaurant
Castle Place is a family-owned and operated restaurant that consistently provides excellent service. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making each visit enjoyable. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious and the environment was very welcoming! Definitely will be frequenting this restaurant!!
P.F. Chang's
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's over priced Chinese food. I get the same quality at my local takeout except it's not on a fancy plate at less than half the cost. Other than the ridiculous price tag, the food is quality, the service is top notch, and it has a neat atmosphere. Another thing i should mention... yes I think it's over priced... but I do eat here a few times a year... so it is pretty good.
If I could give zero stars I would. I will honestly say, I will NEVER eat here again. I ordered take out to be delivered and the food was disgusting. I wouldn’t have given it to a dog. I ordered Chang’s Spicy Chicken and all I got was bits and pieces of chicken and it was like clam strips. It never used to be that way. It was always chunks of white chicken. I ordered 6 pan fried shrimp dumplings that were barely(and I mean BARELY)pan fried that they were almost raw. I then ordered a kids orange chicken and all that was on the dish was battered chicken with no sauce at all. They were advertising a red velvet cake. I called and asked if I could substitute it for a key like and spoke to Heather on the phone and she went and asked her manager that said yes and she asked my last name so she could right it on the slip. I never got it. The management there is TERRIBLE! VERY unprofessional. They don’t return phone calls either. When I called and told them the issue, I spoke with Heather, and she gave me some convoluted story that they’ve been having a problem with their orange chicken, but they didn’t have the common sense to call me and say “hey we can’t do the orange chicken, would you like something else?”. I also asked for plates, soy sauce, fortune cookies, and special sauce that they offer on their site for delivery. Heather told me: “We don’t have special sauce”. Why offer it as an option if you’re not going to put it in the bag? PF Chang’s USED TO BE my favorite restaurant, but they have definitely seen the last of me. I recommend going to Panda Express. At least you can see the food being made right in front of you and what’s in the window. If you ask them to make it fresh for you, they accommodate gladly. $52.25 is a rip off for what I got and didn’t get.
Golden Wok Inn
Can't say enough about the food here. It was SO fresh and tasty with large portions. We dined in. Employees were kind and friendly. We will definately be back! We had the Ginger salad, Crab Rangoon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken, Moo Goo gain pan, egg rolls and wonton soup.
Don't let the outside or the older interior fool you the food is great . The fried rice was tender and flavorful with no large hard vegetables like other places. The sweet and sour chicken was done perfectly and the o the chicken was great the general tsos was great asked for not spicy and got that but still had great flavor. The inside has not been remodeled in 20 years except for paint but is not dirty or run down. The staff seems like a family and provide great service.
Rice Inn
Not as good as nearby Silk Road, but almost as impressive. The sushi was super excellent 👍 The orange chicken for the most part was good, just a few stringy pieces. Service was a bit slow but they were little busy on a Saturday night. Will visit again.
Their lunch combination is an excellent price for the food you get. The orange chicken was delicious. They also make homemade hot mustard and duck sauce, which is far superior to the packets you get for takeout.
Classic Chinese Cuisine
My go to dish has always been Mongolian Beef. I'm used to beef and onions, and sometimes bamboo shoots. Their version had broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, tasted like a stew. I asked for extra spice, which it did have a pleasant kick, but it was unlike any Mongolian Beef I've had before and I did not care for it nor would recommend. We also ordered Pad Thai, which was really sweet with zero peanuts, or peanut flavor. And Chicken Fried Rice which was also pretty so-so. Service was quick and friendly, but the dishes didn't look like the pictures online. Posting my food pics to help.
We have been regular customers for at least 15 years. Most recently it has been very hit & miss. I usually do takeout & recently had chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce & it was so sweet, and sauce was very dark & thick. I had to throw my leftovers away. Had kung pao chicken & once again the sauce was way too thick, almost like gelatin. Because it is convenient I will still do takeout once in a while but am on the hunt for some place new.
Yummy Bowl
4.5 Stars – Fresh, Crispy, and Great Portions! Yummy Bowl was a fantastic takeout experience! The sweet and sour chicken was fresh, perfectly crispy, and had just the right balance of flavors. The Crab Rangoon was also a standout—the filling was rich and flavorful, and the outside had a great crunch. We also tried the tofu with mixed vegetables in a light sauce. While I haven’t quite found a sauce I love (probably due to the fish sauce commonly used for flavor), the tofu itself was steamed well, and the vegetables were the best I’ve had anywhere—plenty of variety and perfectly cooked, not soggy at all! Portions were generous, the prices were very fair, and everything was still hot when we got home. While the restaurant isn’t really set up for dining in, their packaging made it easy to transport. We’ll definitely be back!
Been here a few times... never disappoints. Tonight we decided to do pick up for Christmas Eve dinner.... it's our family tradition. We normally get golden wok but I talked my husband into trying yummy bowl (I'm the only one who's had this place). They were quick, and the portions were huge. He was hesitant on the higher prices until he tasted the food. Said it's his new favorite. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We got the beef and garlic combo with fried rice and chicken egg roll. 2 sweet and sour chicken combos with white rice and spring rolls. The general tsos chicken with house lo mein. Crab rangoons, fried dumplings, and I got my usual hunan chicken with vegetable lo mein. About 80 bucks total plus tip. Needless to say, everyone is stuffed and very satisfied with the change up. This will be our go to place from now on. I couldn't snap pics of everyone's food as they were very hungry.... but I did manage to take a photo of mine. This was after I took about 8 bites and it doesn't even look like I put a dent in it. If you haven't tried this place yet check them out. They quality and variety are unmatched.
China House Restaurant
Ordered general tso's chicken with reg. Noodles for my 11yr old son yesterday. This ended in me driving to hospital after taking 1 bite of meat. He is allergic to peanuts and immediately started feeling his throat itching, chest pain and unable to swallow. I was so upset, allergens should be listed on menu items including common allergens. We've ordered before this same meal from other places and never had an issue. We stopped here because we went to Walmart after a game and he was hungry. Would never order from them or recommend to anyone.
We have tried every chinese take out in the lancaster area and China House is by far the best. House fried rice is spot on. We actually order the fried dumplings for dinner parties, a favorite appetizer!
Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant
Great Chinese restaurant! My husband found out about this place and it's one of his favorites now. He says that the lo mein is the best he's ever had. Overall great place and definitely recommend it.
Great place to get good food at good price. Very friendly and accommodating. We love to pick up and go! EVEN in the snow!!
Sun Hing Chinese Restaurant
Food is very hit and miss. I have gone to this establishments on a few occasions. Sometimes the food is really good, other times the food is not good. Sometimes the lo mein is spot on, other times they put too much salt on it. They're very inconsistent.
the wings was maddddd goood . They really marinated them mfs with love they had ode flavor and were crispy ash but not dry yameannn. House special fried rice was bussin too they give you a good portion. but yea everything was fresh, workers were friendly. Better than my spot in York for a fact. If I’m ever in the Area again this my go to 💯
Chinese food (Hong kong chef v)
The food was tasteless, the boneless ribs had a left over reheated pork aftertaste that was poorly concealed by drowing the poor pig in a bad example of a Chinese bbq sauce, the pork in the lo-mein and the soup and the ribs had never seen the inside of a Chinese smoker. There were peas in the VERY pale and tasteless fried rice. The only other time I had peas in my fried rice is when I had Korean rice. All in all I would not recommend nor return to this resturant. You would do better and cheaper going to the frozen case in the supermarket and picking one from shelf A and one from shelf B . Totally waste of money and time. Stick with your tried and true.
I don’t know how Giant has this in their store, the one lady that’s always there in front is absolutely horrible she yells loud and embarrasses you. She’s horrible and there are other reviews that support this. The food is okay, but not worth the treatment.
China City Chinese Restaurant
I do not give out 1-2 star reviews lightly. This is just less than an ideal situation. It’s winter. The store is freezing. I have a child food very subpar. The pork and the pork fried rice tasted quite old. The food itself wasn’t horrible it was just okay. But they didn’t have a highchair for a kid not even a knife to help us cut up the food, it was nice that they ended up spending 5-10 minutes to find a knife but I would never come back to this place. This is probably par for the course for Americanized Chinese food in the area, but it was pretty dismal. Would not recommend d
I ordered a few things from them. One was crab sticks. I got the tartar sauce but not the crab sticks. When the manager called me back she sounded super young. And kept saying are you sure they aren’t there? Then her “fix” was to make note of it and give me free ones next time. Keep in mind I already paid for them and didn’t get it. Finally they said the driver will bring them. When they came, they were basically cold. Meaning they were sitting there while they asked if I was sure I didn’t get them.
Hong Kong Restaurant
Chinese food eat in or take out. They also cater parties and banquets.
I enjoyed the wonton soup, but the jumbo shrimp i ordered was more dough than shrimp. The fried food was way too greasy and not quite as delicious as I was expecting. It seemed to me that they were overusing dough and underutilizing the main ingredients. The woman at the front was great, though.
