Got curious with this Restaurant so I decided to order via doordash. 左宗鸡 General Tso's Chicken - Some parts were not easy to chew. I had much better ones. It came with a side of rice. Soy 油鸡饭 Soy Sauce Chicken with Green Vegetable - this one my fave comparable to Sangkee. I love this one because tender, moist, juicy and has fat in the skin. Delish I am missing of the sauce on the side. This one is over rice. Huge portion of rice 烧鸭饭 Roasted Duck on Rice with Green Vegetable Q - the duck could have been better. The skin is not as crispy as I would like. Lack of flavor. Sangkee still has the best Roasted Duck. This one is over rice. Huge portion of rice I gave it a try but won't order here again. One and done

The shrimp dumplings was good and crunchy. The rice was Ard,very stiff and maybe microwaved, the wonton soup was ok. But that broth was popping. Most likely I won’t return.

A takeout only Chinese American restaurant. They also sell candy and have an atm. You don’t go for the ambiance. But the hours are late night and convenient. The chicken wings were really good. Affordable cash only.

I asked for pepper steak and they barely put any steak when I called and complained about it they told me I have to pay for extra steak and when I told them that’s not right they hung up now they have me blocked and I can’t even call so don’t expect much from these people they don’t care about us they just want money

I stumbled across this place when looking for chinese food and our normal place was closed. We took a chance and ordered a large amount of food and this place is top tier chefs Kiss 💋 Tgeir winton soup.os the best ive tasted since Ho Sai Gai like 20 years ago...the broth is flavorful.and the noodle packs they send with it...also delish The popcorn chicken and French fries were out of this world..not a bit greasy and a large portion for a good if not great price. The kung pao chicken my husband got was hotter than most others hes ordered We dont eat pork so he got steamed vegatable dumpling and i tasted one they were also top tier The person taking the order was polite, recommended the vegetable dumplings the delivery person very mannerly. 10 out of 5 stars...dont sleep on this hidden gen in the heart of Kensington This is our new go to spot

My combo platter was fine but the fried banana I ordered was super disappointing. It was hard, almost stale, and bland. Scallion pancakes were also mid. Will not be ordering again.

This place has the best Peking duck in town! We ordered the whole duck, pan fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp, and snow pea leaves sautéed with garlic. Everything was delicious - the eggplant was caramelized in the best way possible and the peas leaves were yummy. The duck, however, was the centerpiece of the meal. It was juicy, and the skin was amazingly crispy. We wrapped the beautifully sliced meat with delicate pancakes, house sauce, and shredded scallions. It does take 40 minutes for them to prepare the duck. (This is normal for a place that specializes in Peking duck.) One thing I wish the restaurant would do better is the ambience. The place feels like a no-frills banquet hall with lights that are a little too bright. The duck that they serve deserves a slightly fancier atmosphere. That said, my family can’t wait to come back for the duck again. The dim sum menu also looks good so we’ll be back for that, too.

The service is great, the chef was cool. Food is worth it. We were there for the Peking duck. It's definitely a different taste experience. I highly recommend it. Had to get those feet and bean curds

Having traveled to Hong Kong and Mainland China I can say that the food here mimics the flavors and sparks inexhaustible memories from many meals shared with colleagues and friends. Go for Sunday dim sum brunch if you want to really get an authentic experience. My personal favorites : turnip cake, meatballs, soup dumplings and the taro dumpling. The waitresses are friendly and funny and more than willing to help you understand the endless options available. For 2 of us the bill was 60 bucks and we had 7 different dishes and fried rice. GO HERE! You won’t be sorry .

I've been coming to this place for years. This time I came on a Sunday first time I saw this place not that full. Service was pretty bad. Had to ask for water for the table at least six or seven times, from servers and even from another person who was the manager. Some of the regular dim sums were ok, not as good as I remember. The soup dumplings were pretty bad and staluck to the spoons. The dough was thick and pasty. The stuffing for lot of the dumplings was all mushi. The chicken feet and the short rib were good. The Chinese broccoli was good. The pork Schumai was nice, other than that it felt pretty meh. Hopefully was the one-time thing maybe I'll try them again we will see. But the next time I have a craving I'll probably try one of the other places either in Chinatown or on Washington avenue.

This genuinely might be one of my new favorite places to eat, not only in Chinatown but in Philly. My mother and I came here this past Saturday for lunch and we both agreed that every single dish we ordered was FANTASTIC. It was one of the best meals I’ve had. I’ve always wanted to try a hand drawn noodle house and I am so glad this place was my first impression of one!! We shared a scallion pancake and vegetable dumplings as appetizers. SO GOOD. My mother got the Szechuan Cold Noodles as her main and I got the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. AMAZING. The portions are quite generous and the prices are so reasonable. Can’t wait to come back!!

First off this place is cash only. Do not even think of going there without cash. If it is busy, they will see you with other groups at the same table. This is just because it’s a very busy spot, especially during busy times. With those two things in mind, I always know the food is going to be great and I have been here twice in a week to eat. Both times it was the same. It was excellent. The service was excellent and the food absolutely tasted exactly the same as before. Raised beef noodle soup is a great choice as is the saliva chicken And scallion pancake. Next time I’ll try the shaved noodle, but the hand-drawn noodle is absolutely stellar with great chew and lots of bounce and not overcooked.

This is my happy place! If they had Dim Sum this would be my favorite place in the whole world. You can walk from place to place and mix up one of the most interesting meals ever. Japanese Hot Dogs, Halal, Korean Buns, Bhan mi, and much more. Not to forget great beer as well. I wish I could eat here every day.

I saw many live and suffering animals being sold for human consumption in markets in Chinatown. I don't like that e seeing made me feel bad and impotent facing the situation.

I’ve only gotten takeout sushi from this place, so I can’t provide much insight on other menu items. However, I’ve never had a bad meal from this restaurant, especially the tuna avocado roll, salmon avocado roll, and shrimp tempura roll, which are my go-to’s.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Everything came warm and delicious. Ordered the scallion pancakes, house special tofu soup & 3 rolls: salmon, tuna, and Philly. Everything was delicious.

November 2020. Craving Chinese take out. Called in advance. Picked up in 15mins. Cash only. $12.40 for Pork Lo Mein and General Two’s chicken. Both small orders. Food is hot and tasty and will last me two days.

I don’t know why Ho’s doesn’t have 5stars! They are a mom and pop owned and operated Chinese food restaurant. Everything on their order is cooked fresh and it is very tasty. I ordered boneless spare ribs and sesame chicken! Both were amazing!!!! 10/10 will be back again, and would recommend to a friend. Fairly priced, fresh, delicious and tasty.

Best halal Chinese take out in Philadelphia. They do have seating of four for 2 groups. They are also very clean and nice. Even the bathroom and the kitchen is clean. The best part is their food actually taste good and they have a good deal on the lunch special.

This is a takeout only Chinese restaurant. You can also order on delivery apps to have a delivery straight to your door. I recommend this Chinese store to anyone. Of course the location is in North Philly but the food and service is great. The owners talk to you. The customer service is exceptional. Don’t take my word for it. Just go there today.

The rice was delicious, had alot of pork in it the general toas chicken Was good too but , the only downside for this place was that, the fact the platter itself was 12$ which doesn't include an egg roll, being in that area that's pricy. platters usually are only 950-11 max .. plus I think there should of been a bit more chicken then was given especially to accommodate with these center city prices in the hood ,

Highly over priced on everything now. No heat in customer area in fact there's no heat in the store at all. Service people wear coats all the time. People can be seen shivering while waiting for food. Avoid if at all possible! There are getting complaints from customers all the time now. Volume of customers are shinking daily.....

very tasty food, quick service from kind people, and a fair price for a good amount of food. I got general tso’s bean curd and thai tea boba — both delicious!

Very delicious and authentic roasted pork Lo Mein for $8.99. The atmosphere is nice, and the manager is kind to customers. Would definitely go there again and try other dishes .
