First, i waited 10-15 min for someone to acknowledge i was standing there, then after i ordered, i waited another 45 min to receive my food. To top all that off, this was the worse Chinese food I’ve ever had. (I’m not over exaggerating). The food even had a weird color to it. I will never come here or recommend anyone to come here. I was highly disappointed.

If you have a hankering for Chinese Food this is the place to dine! They have all the t's crossed & all the i's dotted when it comes to customer service! The prices are affordable & they offer lunch specials! They also have a Chinese Zodiac Calendar available for sale for those that have an interest in The Lunar New Year! 🐉

I have never tried Chongqing Spicy Chicken however, this dish was delicious! The building was much larger then I expected from outside (one could fit a large amount of people for a party in this restaurant easily & comfortably)! The customer service was outstanding, very friendly & kind! The portions were generous, & the food was delicious! The price was absolutely fair for lunch specials (which are offered most days)! I would gladly stop in here again (often if possible)! There are also several nice decorative pictures abourning the walls!

Honestly, a cool family that run a GREAT operation. I just moved in the area and have been trying this spot out as my local Chinese takeout. The foods always hot, efficient and real reasonable with prices. Also they have a whole “Chinese “ side of the menu which is authentic. I haven’t tried that side yet but they do have a nice sized restaurant, and I bet they have the skill Thanks again!

Actually this was disappointing. We ordered a bunch of food, and most was not good. The Chicken and Broc Combo was very bland. So was the Wonton Soup. The fried plantains are not sweet plantain, just fried plantain, not a dash of salt or even a sauce. Fried Wontons were ok, even the Szechuan Style Wontons were not much better, the sauce they sit in was overly sweet and sticky, it didn't give spicy as advertised. The Dim Sum were high point, basically a huge meatball lightly wrapped in dumpling dough with a brown beefy sauce, similar to gravy. Crab Rangoons were flat and under filled. Mongolian Beef was mostly caramelized onions probably the best tasting item but the white rice that came with it was not ok, I know the rice is supposed to be sticky but it was just soggy. The food is not thoughtful at all just large portions. Quantity not, not quality.

I ordered king crab fried rice and received imitation crab fried rice. Notice how the king crab is spongy like tofu, instead of stringy or flaky like real crab meat. Also, the rice was under seasoned and flavorless.

Dont get discouraged by the building appearance, this place is and has always been the best Chinese food in allentown. Hands down. Order from their website!! So much cheaper than any app, and they actually get the profits instead of just some 40% a third party will give them!!!!

I can't speak to the in house "atmosphere", but the food and service I have received, whether it's take out or delivery, is always great! This picture was taken after l already have eaten nearly half of what I ordered... as I said, great!

Amazing food and very reasonable prices. Definitely more of a takeout place than somewhere to sit down and dine in. The staff is super fast and efficient. I love their online ordering. The order is always correct and quickly prepared.

We had delivery of our food, the man who took our order said it would be there in 30 minutes but within 10 minutes it was here. It still was very hot.

I've been eating here for over twenty years. Food use to be great, but it's still good. I think it has a lot to do with food cost and the quality that suppliers provide... I usually get lo mein, fried rice, and soup. Complimentary hot oolong tea is soothing. It's the only business in that shopping center to survive this long. That speaks volumes about their food.

Very cluttered atmosphere. Very bad service. Chicken was uncooked and had to return to recook and wanted to charge extra to correct order.

I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. Yes, the food and service truly is awful. Heed their warnings and mine. Although the restaurant is 7 minutes away, delivery took an hour. The food was cold upon arrival, which was frustrating, but I would live. What they served, however, should embarrass them. The sweet and sour chicken and French fries appeared to be lathered in grease, perhaps from old food being deep fried multiple times, and the moo shu beef was more of a moo shu stew. Needless to say, we ordered pizza instead. This was my first and last time ordering from Empire Chen.

The Curry Chicken 🌶️ was tasty & delicious! The service was phenomenal! I would eat here again! The lunch specials are affordable & the portions absolutely generous! I enjoyed the experience overall!

My daughter wanted to eat here, and the owner seemed like she had an attitude when taking our order, and she was not very friendly. My concern was how the hair in our food was handled when pointed out to the owner they absolutely did not care. When we asked for a refund she said they do not give refunds but can provide more food. I explained to her why would we want more food when we just found hair in the food, and she just kept repeating herself that she can’t give a refund but can give more food. Oh and it gets better my daughter got food poisoning the next day. Tried calling their establishments several times, but they don’t ever answer the phone. The phone just rings until the voicemail comes on saying put your security code in.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I ordered a normal combo with rice, lo mein, an egg roll and a drink! The food was absolutely disgusting and I tried to tell them nicely that I just wanted a refund after I barley even touched the food specifically their rice and lo mein. They refused to refund me the money and charged me $19.60 and only refunded me $6 when I had all my food remaining. I am never coming here again. I used to come here often but wow their customer service sucks

Small Strip Mall Chinese Restaurant. Good food, setup mainly for takeout, very basic, a few plain tables and booths. Reliable. Generous portions. Typical menu selections.

Got there at round 8 pm and due to the epidemic, they only accept takeout or order by phone. That day I ordered 3 dishes including shrimp fried rice, fried vegetables and wonton soup. This was my first time trying Chinese-flavored food and I feel quite satisfied. It might be a bit bland for someone who prefers a richer taste, but it feels good to me. I will return to this restaurant. Certain!

From the moment I walked in, the hostess was very unfriendly. She didn't even acknowledge me. She was taking care of something and carried on a conversation with others as if i wasn't there. The restaurant wasn't even busy. When she finally looked up, she stated that she had to wait for a table to be cleaned before I could be seated. Still not even a smile. I should have left at that point. The food was terrible. I ordered shrimp fried rice and steamed Dumplings. The food had no flavor and seemed reheated. Not fresh at all.

The food were nice , but the ambience were so so , I mean better than dining court but not as a restaurant inside the hotel , they could improve it .

It looked good, and eggroll was pretty good. The chicken wasn't bad, but it didn't taste like it was supposed to. It's like somebody at home tried to make chinese food but didn't have all the ingredients. The fried rice was not fried rice. They under sauce and season sadly. Great wall is honestly way better. The gentleman working here, however, is super nice and polite. Thus why I added the 3rd star. They are cheaper than the competition but that comes at the cost of flavor

I decided to give this establishment a second try after an initial bad experience. REGRET! Chicken with broccoli over salted and chicken tasted spoiled! I also ordered fried rice and found the shrimp tasted spoiled also...horrible.It all went in the garbage! On my list of never again places! The supposed fried green plantains were soft and ripe!
