My brother in law recommended this place. We had the combination platter sweet and sour chicken and 2 egg rolls with rice. The food was about average. The sweet and sour sauce did not contain any fresh pineapples and the sauce could of been more sour. The food did arrive hot and they included the mustards and the sauces as requested. I would order from here again but I would probably try another dish.

On Saturday, December 14th, I ordered a small pork lo mein and a shrimp roll. About 4 hours after eating this, I became very sick, and threw up 14 times in the span of 7 hours. I ended up having food poisoning, and I do not recommend eating at this establishment unless you want to be in unbearable pain for the next 2 days.

The reviews are lying to you. This is mediocre white people Chinese food, I got the General Tso Chicken. The Chicken was hard and hurt my tooth a bit. They gave me two pieces of STEAMED broccoli. The white rice was okay it pretty much what you would expect of white rice. As far as service the lady was “nice” but rushed the interaction. Lastly the atmosphere was to be expected it looks like a regular Chinese store smelled kinda weird tho.

Would have given 5 stars, but the delivery guy they have was refusing to give my Son the food without a tip when he answered the door. I told my son I paid a tip, plus delivery, online through their website when I ordered, and the guy threw a fit to my 14yr old. It was wild. I don't know what he thought he'd accomplish with a child. Food was really good but I'm never ordering from them again. There's three more places for Chinese closer.

This was my first time trying this place and I was pleased. I ordered the shrimp lo mein and chicken wings. The wings were very flavorful; the lo mein was good and had plenty of shrimp. The food was made fresh and was still nice and hot when I got home. Staff was also friendly. It’s a cash only establishment, so keep that in mind. Overall, money well spent.

Ordered Beijing for Christmas night dinner. Really good! Got 3 General Tso platters, Chicken lo Mein & Wonton soup. Fed 4 adults for $50 … not bad. Everything was really good. Not saying it’s the best Chinese I’ve EVER had, but probably the best in NE Philly. Will definitely order again. BTW - cash only

By far the WORSTchinese food I ever had I ordered bourbon chicken it was all tenderloins but with cuts and a sauce that was so sour and tasted and smelled like dish soap.. the white rice was edible and the dumplings had a dipping sauce that was beyond sour .. waste of money

Best chicken wing combo platter in our area! I have ordered from Hong Kong many times now and so far the food has been good and consistent. My family has said what they order is always good too. Personally I think they have some of the best chicken wings in our area. Their platter is more than generous with the serving and the chicken is always juicy and crispy. I loooove the hot sauce they give with it, it’s mildly spicy but more sweet and kinda hints of BBQ too its really yummy, highly recommend asking for more than 1 cause 1 container is never enough for me. The pork fried rice is really good on it’s own too. I always alternate between their Crab Rangoon (pictured) and their Pork Fried Dumplings, for an appetizer, both are really good. I appreciate that they also poke holes in the boxes on the to-go orders so your food stays nice and crispy! They are always generous with napkins & utensils as well. As a heads up though this place is pick up or delivery only, they haven’t seemed to re open their dining room since the pandemic, but due to this they are very fast with their pick up orders always takes just 15 mins for me to go pick it up and they are reasonably priced in my opinion. I will say the one day I ordered their noodle wonton soup instead of my normal order and I was pretty disappointed cause it was really lacking any flavor at all, it was very bland. I have tried a few other things on the menu as well and they were just okay. But their chicken wing platter reigns supreme for me and is consistently good so I would recommend that to anyone.

This place used to be good. The egg rolls I ordered today were definitely reheated in a microwave or airfryer. They were extremely chewy and both ends of the egg rolls were hard as a rock. The soup was just ok and the Generals chicken was really spicy. Big disappointment today.

Last night I ordered the Hot Pepper Chicken, it has jalapeño, red chili etc. It was the best chicken dish I have ever had. The chicken was truly delicious, and the perfect texture, the sauce was was spicy, but I tasted a touch of sugar, it was nicely balanced.

Just got our food. It was awful. The food is normally excellent but tonight everything except the chicken wings were a major disappointment. The large chicken fried rice consisted of 5 small pieces of chicken & onions. There was no eggs or vegetables of any kind. I've never seen fried rice like this. The steamed dumplings tasted weird(normally our favorite). The beef & the vegetable lo mein were flavorless. I don't know what happened but we will not be ordering from them again.

Very disappointed, food took 2/3 longer of what they said, and then I open the tostones (fried plantains) this is what I found…. I feel they were made and perhaps they were frozen then refried…. Idk but this is for sure a way to keep me away. I mean things happens In orders but this isn’t like veggies or pickles you know it’s a health issue……

A solid four star Chinese takeout. Interior could use a refresh, food is good every time so far aside from the slightly dry chicken, rice is on point, never overcooked. Eat here regularly and intend to keep doing so.

Food was the best!! I loved the wonton soup, sweet and sour shrimp, and pork lomein! The inside is small, so takeout is your best option! The portions are great, she couldn't even close my sweet and sour chicken container. Definitely deserves better ratings! We arrived at the beginning of dinner, they said 25 minutes, and even after like 7 phone calls, still got our food out in time!

I’ve been a customer of Great Wall II since moving here from Florida in 2012 and I won’t order Chinese from anywhere else. My fiancé and I absolutely LOVE their food! Big portions, reasonable prices; considering the cost of food nowadays, and GREAT TASTE is what keeps us loyal. The staff; from the person taking my order to the delivery driver, are the kindest I’ve encountered since moving here. The cooks are the best in the valley! Everything is always perfect and it’s always fresh and hot. I order the Moo Goo Gai Pan. The vegetables and chicken breast are cooked to perfection and the sauce is just incredible! I’m hooked on it! It comes with white rice, but I prefer fried rice because it comes with more veggies and completes the dish perfectly. My fiancé always orders Boneless Spare Ribs with French Fries. He absolutely loves it and he’s the pickiest eater I’ve ever met! They always pack as much as they can in the container and it fills him right up. Any time I ask him what he wants when I’m ordering out, he ALWAYS says Chinese and that ONLY means Great Wall! As you can see from the photos, we ate before I could take pictures and I still have quite a lot leftover for lunch tomorrow. We were too full to even touch our egg drop soup and I still have egg rolls left for lunch as well. YUM! They don’t skimp on the condiments like other places do either… BONUS! I didn’t take pictures prior to us eating tonight because we were just too hungry. I will update this review the next time we order. Give Great Wall a try, you won’t regret it! Going to bed fat, happy and sassy. 💁‍♀️ Thanks Great Wall for yet another satisfying dinner! 😊

Omg 😲 I can't eat this me and my daughter both opened took a bite n pushes away. No taste n I only see far not even convincing that this is chicken in any way. Taste is not there. It's gross I am now sick to my stomach not sure what I ate but it's not chicken I don't believe. N it's soggy. Only thing good was a pleasant delivery person. The recipe was even all torn apart. And the food was nice and hot n packaged great other then that I can't eat this. What do we do ? Is there a way to have the meat tested I'm disturbed it's all fat

This place is the worst ever. Horrible taste and wasn't even made correctly! They literally gave me 5 shreds of beef and a pound of chopped mushrooms, That's not Mongolian beef! The taste was pure salt and the accompanying pork fried rice had no pork in it???? Very Dissatisfied for a first order.....I will never return with this level of failure.....

Some of the best Chinese food around, great price on lunch specials which is usually what I order. I order online through ChineseMenu (yep that's really the website), it's always ready within the 10 to 15 minutes it takes me to arrive, and the food is still perfectly steaming hot when I get back, whatever ancient Chinese proverb they use works. Just the right amount of salty and greasy for me personally, a sinful meal surely but it's far from bland and not "sick after 3 bites" overpowering either. Egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and a beef dish would be my recommendations. Bro at the register is really nice but always busy working so I don't make small talk. A lot of reviews mention delivery issues or the American style food there, I can't speak on either as I haven't tried. But the Chinese takeout is 🔥 🔥 🔥

One of the better Chinese places in NEPA. The restaurant looks very clean and they are always very nice. My go-to is the chicken and broccoli for sure. Everytime I ordered the food has been good so no bad experiences yet. This place has been highly recommended on my food blog.

Very fast service. Clean restaurant, take out only. Easy parking.

the first time we decided to order here the owners were so helpful and kind and it just made for just an amazing experience. the food was so good compared to most others in the area.. we've decided to make this our go to stop for Chinese since that first experience - so thank you!

We have ordered from Shanghai for years, and for years it used to be the best in the Dallas Area. They don't add in the substitutions on the receipt until after it is printed. Beware. The substitution price is the menu price for said item Almost 8 bucks extra to sub in fried rice from white. Also 1.50 for a tiny thing of hot oil, which used to be free. Substitutions used to be like 2 bucks. Now onto the food quality. Not good anymore. Lo mein was hanging out too long, Mongolian beef was actually a container of stir fried onions with maybe 20 shreds of beef. Seems like they switched operators.

Our first time here as we were celebrating Chinese New Year 🐉 Year of the dragon so it's amply named 🐲 When we walked in we were asked if we knew what we wanted and then shown menus right at the counter. We told them we wanted to eat in, and we were then seated. We were the only people there except a little girl who I am assuming belonged to the workers there. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was typical of your usual Chinese restaurant located within a plaza. It was clean and comfortable. However, I got the impression that they were more of a takeout rather than an eat-in restaurant. There were lots of customers picking up orders to go. The food was delicious 😋 My husband remarked that it was the best egg roll he ever had, and he contemplated what type of oil they used because everything was so good! I agree 👍 💯 everything was cooked perfectly. The portions were big sized. I got sweet & sour chicken combination platter & my husband got General Tso's Chicken Combination Platter. We both got drinks as well. Our bill was about $25.00. I felt we got a lot for the money and will be back.

We visited Dragon City on the late afternoon/early evening hours on a Saturday night. Although we dined in a completely empty (but very clean) dining area, there was a consistent stream of patrons coming in to pick up their order. The Moo Shu vegetable was very good, with a very generous portion. The General Tso chicken was also scrumptious. The sauce was tangy and mild, and was served with a side of rice and an egg roll. Both dishes were fresh, and the overall experience was enjoyable. Looking for a quick Chinese meal to go or to eat in a casual environment? Dragon City fits both options perfectly.
