It's not often I leave reviews on takeout restaurants, but this one left a lasting impression on me. The customer service was top notch , and the dumplings are amazing. If you haven't been here yet , don't sleep on it. It seems the owner takes great pride in the quality of the food and drink served ! I definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a quality Chinese restaurant with quick service!

Best Chinese in the area, and it's not even close. Had to leave a review to support them. The food was great! Rich and Flavorful, generously portioned, rice, meats and vegetables were NOT over/ under cooked AT ALL. People were friendly, and their establishment was VERY clean. 5 stars across the board.

This place is a SCAM. And it's gross inside. I placed an order for three items by clicking their menu through the Google listing. The total was $27. I get a receipt and texts, arrive to get one item. They tell me I called to cancel the other two items. Then I check my bank and the total is for $55. No idea if they are running the scam or just poor business people that don't check their business info on platforms, but stay away. Aside from the scam, the place was super gross inside. Not that I like cleaning up a mess with my credit card company, but I'm pretty glad i didn't actually get any food.

I'm visiting from Delaware and a friend suggested this place for lunch. Friendly staff and the food is delicious. I got fried wings w/fried plantains 😋

I was lucky enough to be able to bop in for a quick bite. I got an egg roll & Snapple drink & it was exceptional! 👍👍

chicken wings were dry and thin , me and my friend ordered in person here , we waited like half an hour , and the food wasn't really even good , I asked where is our order 3 different times and the lady working there treated me like a pest and ignored me , so I got upset and said why are you ignoring me? we already paid and she finally gave us our food, oh and the rice was gritty and tasted dry as well , i give it 1 star this place sucks and it was my first time here and on Christmas, they are rude. Don’t come here.

I've been eating here for about 15 years now, it is a staple of fast Catasauqua food. HOWEVER. Some items were removed from the menu (one of my favorites too, of course) and the service has gone downhill slightly. The ordering process is exactly how you would expect, however it is a little frustrating that upon delivery you get a call stating "your food's here" and then hanging up on you. That's my only service complaint. The food is delicious but again, slightly downhill. I've had to change my order choices several times because of this. Like some other reviewers mentioned, the issue mostly comes with the breaded chicken meals due to the fact that they are more breading than chicken and are sometimes not the greatest cuts. The sweet and sour chicken is the best choice in terms of a chicken dish, in my opinion. The pricing is the last thing to address here I suppose. As everything has went up due to inflation, I can't even complain about their prices. YES they did go up, however that is beyond their control. They also haven't gone up astronomically and I think the pricing is still reasonable. Pictured is sweet and sour chicken, plain lo mein, egg roll, and broccoli in garlic sauce. All were great.

Hands down the worst Chinese restaurant I've came across. The workers are rude , the place is unsanitary & not only is the food disgusting but I got food poisoning after eating here .

I see some of these other reviews saying the food is bad and I feel like they can't be eating the same food. I've been going here for decades and it has been outstanding the entire time. They are ridiculously fast and the quality is excellent. Best Chinese food in the area for sure and they have earned my business many times over. If you are on the fence just try it and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

New China Star is a Chinese restaurant in Bethlehem located on Linden Street. The menu, prices, and food quality are comparable to every other takeout Chinese restaurant. They are open from 11AM - 930PM every day except Sunday. Sunday they don't open until noon. There is no dine-in option but they do deliver. It's been over a decade since I last visited this restaurant, and I'm not sure if there are new owners, but the food quality has really declined. The rice was pale and completely flavorless, easily the worst I've had at any Chinese restaurant. However, the chicken wings were a pleasant surprise and might be the best I've had anywhere.

We had ordered our food and it came two hours later. The food was cold and disgusting. The Chicken with Broccoli, Beef and Broccoli and the Teryaki Chicken Sticks tasted like the most pungent seafood ever. The other dishes (lo mein and wanton soup) had absolutely no flavor. The person on the phone told us that the food was eight minutes away AN HOUR before it was actually delivered (we live less than 15 minutes away). The reviews sang this place's praises like the best Chinese restraunt in Allentown, but I URGE future customers to look at other options.

Delicious flavorful food cooked the authentic style, friendly staff, generous portions and reasonable prices. Teriyaki chicken was my favorite. I will definitely come back.

Wow! 🤗 We went as a family of 5 for lunch to eat family style. The food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional! 😋 I noticed the owner and staff were so attentive and kind to all their customers! 👏🏼 The food came out quick and very appetizing. Portions were large and prices were reasonable. We had leftover to take home. I highly recommend! I stopped coming here because the quality of the food and service declined drastically after Covid. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and I found a hair in my chicken. I called to get a refund and they told me there was nothing I could do about it, they weren’t apologetic at all and seem annoyed by my request. It’s not like I asked for them to refund my whole order I just asked for a refund of the item that was contaminated. I would recommend just going with somebody else or taking the drive somewhere else. If could give 0 starts I would.

I really like this place. Their food is delicious. I have eaten several chicken and beef dishes, and often get a variety of their sushi. I love that they deliver too! The people who have taken my order and dropped off my food are also very friendly.

Hands down the best yaroa I've had in a whileee here in Allentown. Their chicken chimi riquisimo with lots of flavor. Never had a chinola morir soñando however, it was creamy & tasty! Gained a new customer over here!! Definitely returning. Wishing this place an abundance of success!

Not very good at all, got general tso's with pork fried rice, I'm fat as heck and this probably my favorite meal from anywhere and I didn't even eat 1/2 of it. Chicken was soggy and rice wasn't firm at all and kind of tasted... Old? Basically was like if you microwaved some general tso's combo from a good place 2 days later. I feel bad for putting a bad review, I know it's hard out here but you gotta do better guys

This is my second and final attempt at this place. This time I arrived to pick up my food only to hear they downsized my order from 2 to 1 order of fried chicken since they ran out of chicken. When I returned home I saw that my order of chicken wings were not well done as requested, and a couple of the pieces were deformed or less than adequate. It felt like a waste of money. As for my General Tso's, for the second time the breading was soggy, not crispy. I'm over this place.

Wonderful experience! We dined in on a Friday night and ordered beef ramen, and the curry hot pot. The restaurant is very very clean. We were greeted and seated immediately and had great service. The food was served quickly and it was perfect. The taste is amazing. Pricing is very affordable.

The hotpot is very delicious with many choices. The hotpot came out within five quick minutes, and everything was already cooked. The service was very attentative and kind. Also, the atmosphere is an awesome planet themed room. 10/10 would recommend!

I had the pleasure of trying Ume tonight and my experience was absolutely wonderful! The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and had a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly. FOOD: The skewers were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Schezuan dumplings had the right amount of spice. We got the "Sushi Mix" combo and it was perfect to share for 2 people. The sushi was very fresh and beautifully decorated. The peppered steak entree was SOOOOO good that I could not stop raving about it. I would 1000% come back and try other dishes on the menu!

OMG!!!! Fantastic! The service was great! They also have parking in the back. The pricing is very affordable. The seasoning of the food was on point. The meat and shrimp were very tender. I ordered the Four Seasons with an egg roll and a couple of my friends order the Shrimp/peppers and Steak/peppers. Their Mango Bubble Tea 🧋 is THE BEST! I ordered 2! One for Lunch and one to go. Definitely would recommend! Hope they stay for a long time!
