If I could give no stars I would. Worst Chinese food I ever ate. Egg roll greasy chicken with broccoli tasted old and smelled funny. Sweet and sour chicken soggy and made with dark meat chicken instead of white meat. Fried rice tasted old.

CLEARLY SAYS 10 PIECE. This is what I got....

People with low ratings in their reviews are tripping. The food is fresh and delicious, it is high quality Chinese food. The inside seems like a regular Chinese joint but the food itself seems like it was made at an actual authentic Chinese restaurant. Do yourself a favor and get the egg foo yung and cheesesteak egg rolls

I get the General Tso's Chicken to remember my daughter. It was her favorite, she was kidnapped almost a year ago. I miss her, can never finish the whole dish on my own. Evergreen is just as excellent today as they were 4 years ago when we were still a family. The Chef is a great mother it is always a joy to see her, eat her priceless meals.

Lunch at a restaurant serving Fujianese food, which I was unfamiliar with. Very simple, bare bones place for a quick in and out meal. Pork dumplings - Solid Peanut butter noodles - Good. Very mild in flavor but nice. Fishballs - Came out as a soup with meat stuffed in balls of dough. Was expecting something else. But a light, pleasant soup. Lychee pork - Kind of a higher end version of sweet and sour pork with more emphasis on the sour. Made with deep fried pork and came with tomatoes and broccoli mixed in. Good and would get again. Fried taro cakes - Mildly flavored with nice texture. Everything was nice. Overall food was mild and savory. Each table had a squirt bottle of vinegar for garnish. Wish I knew what I should put it on, ha. Would definitely like to try some of the other items on the menu. A variety of different soups seem to be a highlight at the place. Excellent prices. Only take cash.

One of the best hidden gems in Chinatown! This little restaurant is our go-to for authentic Fuzhounese comfort dishes at really great prices. 3 dishes for less than $10? #WorthIt (just make sure to bring cash) You can go in, grab a menu and seat yourself. Call the hostess over once you’re ready to order and chill. We always get the wonton soup with mini wontons and the peanut butter noodles (pictured). Other faves have been the oyster pancake which is a crowd fave and many people like the taro cake.

I disagree with previous reviewers points about service friendliness. This is a small family owned and ran business they don’t necessarily have the time to wait on you and make you happy when they are very busy! They were very polite to my wife and I, advising dishes, quick service and even pointing out a dragon dance parade going by outside. Honestly the food is very good, this is typical canton dishes, very farm from the spicy mainland dishes you may come across. Their bbq is very traditional and tasty, I’d also recommend the Ho Fun. You can also just purchase a crispy duck, take it home and have duck pancakes. Don’t miss this place, give it a try with an open mind and give them a chance to show you a family run business!

Passed by my usual spot - jade harbor across the street and they weren’t open yet. Popped in here and had an absolutely delicious meal. The fried rice was super fresh, spring rolls so hot and crunchy ! Wonton noodle soup wasn’t a best effort , the broth was very light and flavorless. The duck skin was soggy and a bit chewy. Don’t go here for that, but def try the rest. It was super tasty 🙌🏼

Strange strange place

Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people. I ordered the extra spicy pot base, which was delicious. The soup base will be slightly bitter if cooked for a long time. The quality of black belly mutton is online.

Food is ok when you need a quick bite. But I won't be going back bc he definitely overcharged me and I wasn't paying too much attention bc I was in a rush. I ordered the wings with fries $7 and the pork mei fun $8 which should've came to 15 from the price listed on the menu and he took 18. Ridiculous

Horrible over cooked my food and I am amazed they still open for business

Very rude staff. Asked if I could sample the orange chicken. Response was “you’ve never had orange chicken before.” I said not from here. He says, “orange chicken is the same everywhere.” His coworker steps in and says actually it’s not and sends him to the back. This was the only reason I didn’t walk out right then and there. So disappointing because I come frequently during lunch breaks but the disrespect paired with high prices is not worth it. I will not be returning. Wok in the fashion district has a significantly friendlier staff.

Patricia, Maya, and Jayonna, was so pleasant and made sure my food was fresh!!!!! Been here so many times and never received the kind of service I received today from these ladies!!!!

Food was really good: despite how insanely spicy it was (I literally started coughing), it was extremely savory, flavorful, and good for the price. The waitress was also really nice and I had a good time here: the robot deserves some praise too lol. 9/10

Recommend: make your own bowl (soup and stir fry) Good: Peking duck wrap, fried fish fillet. Be careful the spicy is pretty spicy. If you would normally order medium at other restaurants, I would suggest getting mild here. The scallops were not worth it in the stir fry but we were impressed that some specialty ingredients like the pig's blood, pea sprouts, and chanterelle mushrooms were available. They do cook everything together so some of the leafy greens might be a bit wilted. The fried fish was nicely crispy but tasted more like breading than fish

We got overcharged and the waitress is very rude. They told us that the menu was old and therefore didn’t reflect the right price, which means they could charge whatever they want. We ordered four dishes, and they charged us $38 even though it should only cost $33 based on the menu.

A strange lunch experience that left an unsettled feeling (more figuratively than literally). We were a bit taken aback when we arrived and were seated at the same table as a mother and her kid who were still eating. An awkward 5 minutes followed, as we tried our best not to stare rudely while they hurriedly finished their meal! We ordered some small plates (wontons, fish balls, etc), and though there were some interesting flavors (sour broth with pieces of celery), the food felt sloppily prepared with MSG propping up a lot of the taste. The fried taro cakes were probably the best of our order — golden & crispy outside, soft and melty inside. Then our bill was added up by hand, totaling about 10% more than menu prices, but I didn't have the heart to ask the very stressed out restaurant staff to recalculate.

This place has a relatively simple menu which consist of ducks, noodles, and wonton. And I tried it all & ….they were on point. Simple and traditional Cantonese style food. Great value, friendly customer service. Inside reading terminal market. Limited seating and can get loud and crowded. Do recommend @WineDinenVacay

Delicious Cantonese style roast pork and duck. Fast, friendly and efficient service. The menu is pretty straight forward (meat, rice or noodle or soup, veg combos) and you can enjoy your lunch at one of the nearby tables if you're able to snag one. Very generous portions and flavorful with the meat drippings that they ladle over the rice.

The food was TRASH. The General Tso's chicken was soggy and way too spicy to consume. The Crab Rangoon was super chewy - either way undercooked or stale. Regardless, do NOT order from here. Instead, A Mandarin is much better. I would have ordered from them, but they are closed on Monday's. Unfortunately, I chose Golden Lake instead. I contacted them for a refund was more or less inedible, they refused. Horrible customer service I will never be back to Golden Lake.

I ordered on 3/20 because I was working late and the food was disgusting. Not fresh, not good, really greasy. The shrimp egg roll had the tiniest shrimp, the crab Rangoons were cold, gross and just poorly done. The pork in the fried rice was all fat and the rice tasted stale. I threw everything away. Waste of $15.
