I really wanted to like it cause it has the best kind if dumpling- chonky bois. They were good but not amazing. The Capital Chicken was a weird version I've never seen before. Very watery, bland taste. It's not the flat crunchy capital chicken. Service was top tier!!! Very friendly staff~ I'd recommend trying it out for yourself.

I ate there yesterday, but held off making this review to see if I got sick last night. The food is subpar for a Chinese restaurant. The General Tso was not spicy and tasted like they added ketchup. Most entrees on the buffet were bland and lacked vegetables. There were two glaring issues from someone who eats Chinese at least once a week. The wonton soup and egg rolls were flavorless. Second, all the tables were disgustingly sticky. I overheard the waiter tell a husband and wife who came to eat, after they refused to sit at two dirty tables, the reason the tables are sticky is that they are 25 years old. Seriously!!! All that being said, the silverware and dishes were all clean. They had some amazing pot stickers, nice after eating ice cream selection, a large desert/fruit area, and my waiter was very nice. Haven't eaten here in over a year and I can tell you the place has gone downhill. Shame because it used to be good.

The food was terrible dry, over cooked, hard to bit into. Trays were pretty bare minimum. This place is gross and dirty. Kitchen looked dirty and place did not seem to have heat they had electric heaters in the bathroom.No prices listed for the buffet we never got straws or napkins I had to ask for them. The waitress was very rude acting the service sucked. We finished our food because we don't like wasting food. I found two good things to eat there out of 8 things I had. After we were done we decided not to go for seconds we went to checkout and pay and my friend paid for us. He asked for his change oh your not leaving a tip and he said no we are not she was very rude about everything and she did not even give him the right change back like she was gonna pocket it. Please what ever you do don't waste your time in this slum hole it's like walking into hell and wanting to leave as soon as possible.

The chicken with rice soup tasted like they added rice to the boiling chicken and called it a day. It didn't come with crackers but it was disgusting anyways. My egg rolls were super hard and barely had any shrimp PIECES in it. Second time here. Second time disappointed.

Been ordering here for a few years and every time it’s absolutely delicious! The portions are great, the food is amazing! Always great service, friendly and fast. Definitely one of our favorite places!

The food was fresh and hot. The egg roll was so crispy and hot, and the general tso’s chicken was crunchy and not soggy.

Used to love this place but it’s been going downhill. After today I will not be returning. Went there for a soup and chicken with broccoli… chicken was chewy and then I find this in my soup, nope never again.

Food is delicious but packaging is awful. Use 2 bags for big orders in the future instead of stuffing 1 bag so full that the sweet and sour sauce gets crushed and spills on everything.

I have been ordering from Green Garden for over 10 years. My staples are sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. Their food is always good and very consistent. You easily get 2 meals worth of food for dinner entrees. The food is very much "no frills", but delivers in taste.

The pizza rolls shrimp rolls taste under cooked sometimes the cheese on the cheese fries wasn't as good as usual

This place needs to be closed down. I should've taken pictures, but I was so disgusted, I threw this food in the trash. I'm the type to Haye to waste food, so that's a lot coming from me. Shrimp and broccoli tasted like it came out of a can... ot been sitting since Covid started (and its 2024). $25 on top of that (o ordered two and 2 shrimp rolls). I'm praying I don't die from the 3 bites I ate. Save your taste buds, your money, and possibly your life 💯💯💯

Worst establishment in Erie. I ordered lo mein with some honey chicken. Lo mein tastes like someone smoked a whole pack of cigarettes and blew the smoke in the noodles. Smells like cigarettes cold. And I called Happy garden to ask them for a refun and or a reimbursement they got an attitude with me. Started yelling at me on the phone. Not professional at all Would I recommend this restaurant to anyone? No, don't order from them. Disgusting 💯💯💯

Been there severa years ago and believe me their food at Happy Garden was not cooked properly then I have gotten very sick 🤢🤮to point ended up in ER with severe illness for few days afterwards! Overpriced for low quality of Chinese food being served there is not worth it! Stay away from this place ! Wish I didn’t went there in the first place ! Okay I know, it’s the mall. However, the kind people who own this, always make the food fresh and don’t let it sit. They are meticulous about it. If I ordered something they have run out of, they immediately make a fresh batch. Their noodles are really good. My teenage daughter’s favorite. We get it to go sometimes, we like it that much.

My favorite Chinese place in Erie. First place the boys and I pull up to whenever we go to the mall. The lady there always gives us the best portions and bang for our buck. Great price and the best orange chicken 🙏

Ordered sesame chicken with pork fried rice no veggies and it was amazing! Fresh and hot when I picked it up. Great chicken flavor too.

We ordered the chicken with broccoli and it was amazing, I also loved the crab rangoons fresh and creamy. The hot and sour soup was delicious lots of veggies and meat and also the general tso’s tofu was also fabulous. I love its a local family run restaurant giving great food for a good price.

I have been to many buffets and can say this one had the freshest seafood. The food was good. I would definitely go back.

Extensive buffet including fresh shrimp and other seafood -- a great value for the price and large selection. Even the dessert section was impressive, amazingly good ice cream. Lots of attentive and pleasant servers always cleaning up and taking plates, and a nice space as well. Would definitely recommend.

Third time sending us the wrong food or missing items we ordered. This place was better run when Jeff was around. When you call the store to complain about what happened they try to tell you they will give you a credit for next time. Only problem is IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN!! They continue to miss food or send the wrong items. I ordered sweet and sour chicken for my kids and never got the chicken, only the sauce. I ordered BBQ spare ribs and they sent me BBQ chicken. I'm paying DOUBLE what the prices used to be for food that taste like a cardboard. My faith and patience in this store have depleted. I have never been more disgusted. It's one thing to make a mistake but to continue letting it happen?!? No excuses!

My wife called to order from here on her lunch break. She asked the person taking the order if there was a delivery fee. He says it depends on the distance. My wife ordered her food, and got the receipt and saw they charged her ($9) for delivery alone. She calls to address this and explain that the person did not give her the total that included the delivery fee on the phone. She was told that there’s nothing they can do about the delivery fee because they use a 3rd party. My wife asked if it’s possible to be reimbursed for the delivery fee as she was not aware of the cost for delivery and they said she would have to bring the food to the store. Ridiculous and horrible customer service.

I just moved around here, and i found this place on google. But I honestly am a picky eater when it comes to certain places, but this is good af. I definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed 😌
