Taipei-Tokyo
We went to Taipei-Tokyo with dear friends. We had a table with plenty of space to enjoy lively conversation and boisterous laugher! I waited was very kind and friendly. The food was delicious! We can highly recommend this restaurant for a meaningful conversation over dinner, a business meeting, luncheon with club members or relaxing with family. Our table ordered the appetizers, eggplant, jade green vegetables, General with tofu and more!!! Everything was perfect and we can only recommend try something new each time you go from the numerous options!!!
Came here for dinner after an event at the convention center. Food was so good! We shared the vegetarian dumplings. I had a wonton soup and the hot banana pepper chicken, which was amazing. My friend got the pork and vegetables. Good service and reasonably priced.
Red Tea House
Solid option for some Asian food. They have a fairly diverse menu: lots of sushi rolls, dumplings, Thai options, American Chinese food. I decided to try their pan fried pork dumplings as well as their General Tso chicken. The General Tao’s chicken was just okay. The portion was pretty great, and the price was pretty okay. The meat was a little chewy, which I wasn’t a fan of, and the chicken chunks were a bit too large. The sauce itself was fine but nothing special. It was overall okay. The dumplings were quite good. They char these very nicely when they are pan fried. I also really enjoy the sauce, which was flavorful and savory. They do use a dough for the wrapping, though. All in all, a decent spot for Chinese takeout. Lots of options to choose from. The dumplings are what I would get again if I visited.
Great option for Asian food 🍱! Ordered to go, first time trying- pork dumplings 🥟, general so’s chicken and fried rice side. Pork dumplings were my favorite. Generous size, 6 dumplings total, soft bun with crispy side, generous savory sausage filling. Could be a whole meal or shareable for 2-3 depending on what else you order. Chicken was crispy, large pieces, lots of sauce, pretty good flavor. Fried rice side was only rice with scrambled egg. No veggies included in the fried rice. Service at pick u counter was polite and friendly with a smile. Will try more food here and maybe dine inside! Ate those food on the go so I didn’t get pictures this time.
Osaka
Wow i found the best Chinese food in Pittsburgh. The food is absolutely amazing. Not to mention the price is perfect and you get big portions. and it’s a family owned establishment. The family is amazing. Jenny and her staff are always here with a smile to greet you. I found my new family who is here every day when I come in with a smile I’d love their food so much. I absolutely eat it almost every day and that is not a joke. You definitely need to try it. You can’t go wrong. You’ll know what I mean when you come.
I wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant and decided to try Osaka. They have PLENTY of parking which is super nice! My son loves General Tsos Chicken and when we got the food all I could say was wow! It was a great portion size and was really affordable! My boyfriend got the Velvet Chicken and I got the Spicy Tuna Roll. All of the food was delicious and had so much flavor. We also got the Egg Drop Soup and my boyfriend got the Hot and Sour Soup. It was soooo good. The server was super friendly too! They boxed up all our leftovers for us. The restaurant itself had plenty of seating and was really adorable on the inside. Will definitely be back.
Hunan Wok Chinese Takeout
I can't say I would go back here or not unless I was desperate but the place look like Post-Apocalyptic The race was mediocre. The egg roll tastes burnt and the fortune cookie was stale.
The food was overcooked, hard, and tasteless. There was only one shrimp in my Shrimp Egg Rolls. Never again!
Golden Dragon
Portions are quite small for price. Ordered pk up a a combination broccoli chicken and an order of general chicken . They gave us 2 combination platters. We also ordered a crab Rangoon and they were chewy and we ended tossing. $43 and we tossed most of it out. Never again. Also, we got to our meeting and no utensils were given 😮💨 what a waste
Food was really good, I ordered a vegetable lo mien, and I was not disappointed!
Castle Place Chinese Restaurant
Castle Place is a family-owned and operated restaurant that consistently provides excellent service. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making each visit enjoyable. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious and the environment was very welcoming! Definitely will be frequenting this restaurant!!
P.F. Chang's
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's over priced Chinese food. I get the same quality at my local takeout except it's not on a fancy plate at less than half the cost. Other than the ridiculous price tag, the food is quality, the service is top notch, and it has a neat atmosphere. Another thing i should mention... yes I think it's over priced... but I do eat here a few times a year... so it is pretty good.
If I could give zero stars I would. I will honestly say, I will NEVER eat here again. I ordered take out to be delivered and the food was disgusting. I wouldn’t have given it to a dog. I ordered Chang’s Spicy Chicken and all I got was bits and pieces of chicken and it was like clam strips. It never used to be that way. It was always chunks of white chicken. I ordered 6 pan fried shrimp dumplings that were barely(and I mean BARELY)pan fried that they were almost raw. I then ordered a kids orange chicken and all that was on the dish was battered chicken with no sauce at all. They were advertising a red velvet cake. I called and asked if I could substitute it for a key like and spoke to Heather on the phone and she went and asked her manager that said yes and she asked my last name so she could right it on the slip. I never got it. The management there is TERRIBLE! VERY unprofessional. They don’t return phone calls either. When I called and told them the issue, I spoke with Heather, and she gave me some convoluted story that they’ve been having a problem with their orange chicken, but they didn’t have the common sense to call me and say “hey we can’t do the orange chicken, would you like something else?”. I also asked for plates, soy sauce, fortune cookies, and special sauce that they offer on their site for delivery. Heather told me: “We don’t have special sauce”. Why offer it as an option if you’re not going to put it in the bag? PF Chang’s USED TO BE my favorite restaurant, but they have definitely seen the last of me. I recommend going to Panda Express. At least you can see the food being made right in front of you and what’s in the window. If you ask them to make it fresh for you, they accommodate gladly. $52.25 is a rip off for what I got and didn’t get.
Golden Wok Inn
Can't say enough about the food here. It was SO fresh and tasty with large portions. We dined in. Employees were kind and friendly. We will definately be back! We had the Ginger salad, Crab Rangoon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken, Moo Goo gain pan, egg rolls and wonton soup.
Don't let the outside or the older interior fool you the food is great . The fried rice was tender and flavorful with no large hard vegetables like other places. The sweet and sour chicken was done perfectly and the o the chicken was great the general tsos was great asked for not spicy and got that but still had great flavor. The inside has not been remodeled in 20 years except for paint but is not dirty or run down. The staff seems like a family and provide great service.
Rice Inn
Not as good as nearby Silk Road, but almost as impressive. The sushi was super excellent 👍 The orange chicken for the most part was good, just a few stringy pieces. Service was a bit slow but they were little busy on a Saturday night. Will visit again.
Their lunch combination is an excellent price for the food you get. The orange chicken was delicious. They also make homemade hot mustard and duck sauce, which is far superior to the packets you get for takeout.
Classic Chinese Cuisine
My go to dish has always been Mongolian Beef. I'm used to beef and onions, and sometimes bamboo shoots. Their version had broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, tasted like a stew. I asked for extra spice, which it did have a pleasant kick, but it was unlike any Mongolian Beef I've had before and I did not care for it nor would recommend. We also ordered Pad Thai, which was really sweet with zero peanuts, or peanut flavor. And Chicken Fried Rice which was also pretty so-so. Service was quick and friendly, but the dishes didn't look like the pictures online. Posting my food pics to help.
We have been regular customers for at least 15 years. Most recently it has been very hit & miss. I usually do takeout & recently had chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce & it was so sweet, and sauce was very dark & thick. I had to throw my leftovers away. Had kung pao chicken & once again the sauce was way too thick, almost like gelatin. Because it is convenient I will still do takeout once in a while but am on the hunt for some place new.
China House
Absolutely awful. Crab Rangoon’s were tough and tastes. Sweet and sour sauce had no fruit. Won’t order again
Drove 3 and 1/2 hours to eat here!! Seriously, though, it's about half way between where I live in Pennsylvania and my son lives in Michigan. My mom and I stopped here the last time we came through, and we specifically planned our trip so we could stop here again. Super easy in and out. Lots of parking. Clean bathroom. Prices are in line. Food came out blistering fast. And tasty.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
This is my first time visiting a small town and I had the pleasure of dining at this local Chinese restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. My friends and I ordered a wide selection of dishes and each and every one of the dishes were amazing. There was just the right amount of favors and they were all VERY delicious. The portion sizes were also very generous and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. The service was outstanding. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. I speak for both me and my friends and we would 100% recommend this to anyone!
Always fresh, hot and delicious!Excellent service and fast! Fantastic family run business!
