Jade Express
Jade Express is tasty Chinese food up there with other good mall Chinese food options at other bigger Malls. This is a compliment that this is available at Shelby for all the folks to enjoy. I loved the Reasonably priced 2 entrees and 1 side meal and I got 2 chicken entrees and fried potatoes for the side and the portions were generous. Highly recommend this eatery!
Let me start off by saying that I love this place. Great food and what I'm guessing is the owners are always really nice. This is the second time in a month that I've went and the girl preparing the food has complained and huffed and puffed about filling the combo 3 plate. I never say anything because I love this place. I just let her complain and do what she wants to do. Tonight I go and it's the same thing she moans and groans about having to prepare a plate. But on top of this, as I'm walking up. She's sitting there picking and trying to pop a bump on her arm right before she prepares my food. To say I'm grossed out is an understatement. It's time to find someone else to fill that position it seems.
Red Wok Express
Today is march 7th. I walked in exhausted (wifes in the hospital) and I must say, the owner was very kind. I The food is awesome and the owners are some of the nicest people. It really doesn't hurt that the honey chicken is amazing too. If you're at the hospital, drop by, it's right beside bojangles and it's good food at a good price.
Was told this was a great place to to try, so I tried them. A gracious and friendly host ( Bruno ) the food was fast upon arrival and EXCELLENT!!! I will return again, definitely. Thanks Bruno!!!
China Buffet of Shelby
Clean, fresh and tasty - regular Chinese buffet selection. We came at lunch time, service was quick - could definitely make it in and out on a lunch break! Right at $31 for 2 people with drinks. PS you must try the peanut chicken!
Food was hot and delicious. Service was great. If you love mai fun, coconut shrimp, chicken steamed dumpling and other Chinese dishes, you should come and check them out.
Chen's Chinese Restaurant
This place is awesome! The waiters/waitresses are very kind and they have amazing prices ! I had to put my hand in the picture because all this food for the price we paid is outstanding! (: the food is always fresh and so so delicious!! 10/10 would come here again and again and again!
Food is amazing. I drive over an hour to eat here just because I love the unique flavors they offer. No other Chinese restaurant tastes the same. The small sized buffet seems to be a plus because the food is always hot and fresh. Now the bad side. The service is horrible. Years ago the service and food were great. Right now they basically treat you like they don’t care if you come eat there are not. It sucks because it wouldn't take much effort at all for them to be nice and take care of their customers. Literally everything is great except for the attitude of the people running the place.
Chen's Fusion
Worst Chinese Restaurant I have ever eaten in. Their Buffet is a joke. Not much to eat on bar.salad bar had very little on it and only 1 kind of dressing. They had 1 kind of Sushi I told cashier that I was not happy her reply was we have been here 50 yrs I don’t understand why anyone would eat there. Maybe they sell meals and they are Ok but they certainly are not a good Buffet. I’m sure I will never eat there again !!!
I am absolutely appalled. First of all my friend ordered chicken fried rice and found 3 small rocks/pebbles in there (seen below), and unfortunately chipped her tooth. Second of all her claimed to be chicken, was indescribable mystery meat. It was slippery, had zero flavor, and was tough. Third of all I had ordered their Szechuan chicken and normally and also listed on their website, it comes with "broccoli, onions and red bell peppers," but mine was filled with the same nasty chicken my friend had, zucchini, carrots, baby corn, and a vegetable that smelled like a rest stop bathroom. Lastly, the costumer service was awful. WILL NOT BE BACK.
Golden China Restaurant
The flavor of their food is rich. The food is moist. Vegetables are tender. The attention to temperature and flavor mixture enhances the palette experience. This is my third visit. This is not your run of the mill restaurant. You need to taste this.
I don't know why there are negative reviews after the new owners took over. I think the food has gotten way better for me and my son the food is great and the people are great The portions and the price are just fine The sesame chicken for me has gotten way better than it was before. Before you couldn't reheat and eat leftovers but now I enjoy the leftovers so I always order extras so I can have leftovers for the next day I love the new owners in the new recipes please keep up the good work
China House
Everything we ordered was very tasty. :-) The portions were much smaller than we expected. The prices are comparable to other local take-out places but again you didn’t get a whole lot of food. I doubt we’ll eat here again.
I’ve been here before but unfortunately it looks like they are trying to make things stretch now the sauce in the beef and broccoli should be darker and the sweet and sour sauce is almost water 👎🏻
Happy House
We ordered pork lo mein and shrimp lo mein. They messed up on the order and gave me two shrimp lo mein on top of that the shrimp lo mein smelled nasty and old. The rice and egg rolls where good but other then that highly unsatisfied with the food.the egg soup had mold on it and the shrimp was nasty made me throw up . And I found a hair in the food !! It’s all in the pictures 🫡👀😬
I ordered orange chicken, rice and an egg roll. The only thing that was good was the egg roll unfortunately. The chicken tasted burnt and almost like there was a chemical in the sauce that was in the bottom. Very nice lady at the drive through tho at least. Wouldn’t recommend.
Asian Cuisine
If you're not of Chinese origin, please don't go to this place and order take out of any kind of food from this place. I ordered Mongolian beef and all I got was a few fragments of meat and my plate was full of onions. I can say the lady who served, scammed me. I have a picture down here. I don't recommend going there unless you desire to be scammed.
VERY VERY Good food. The orange chicken is so good, not overly sweet. Fried rice, wonton soup, chicken lo mein was amazing. The orange chicken is much better than the sweet and sour chicken, in my opinion. The "large" portions are very large. Would order again.
Panda Express
Ordered a family take out and paid almost $75. Received 6 and not 12 spring rolls and a double order of fried rice rather than an order of fried rice and an order of the original chicken. All items were sealed and labeled upon delivery. We called Panda Express in Norman, we were told they couldn’t do anything, blamed it on Uber Eats, and said their manager was going on break (what a coincidence), and to call back later. Customer service was absolutely awful! We will never use this location again and that’s a shame.
Went today after a long trip from Dallas. I only went to get a $13 deal through my app. A two plate combo with an appetizer and drink. Which I upgraded one to a premium it should have been an upcharge of $1.50. But the lady kept arguing with me and my total came out to be $20. Idk how or why would I pay extra for something that’s advertised. But no thank you. Worst service and thanks for ruining the rest of my night it was already ruined but the meal was suppose to be the best part. Not trying to argue with me for over 10 minutes because you don’t know how to do math. I will not visit here again
China House
China House – A Total Culinary Disaster I have never been more appalled by a dining experience than I was at China House. The food here is an absolute travesty. If you enjoy foul, flavorless mush drenched in what can only be described as industrial-grade goop, then this might be your dream spot. For anyone with taste buds, it’s a nightmare. Let’s break it down: The texture of everything was revolting—mushy, soggy, and utterly indistinguishable from one dish to the next. Everything I ordered seemed to have been sitting out for hours, as if the kitchen has given up entirely. The flavors? Nonexistent. Bland, oily slop with no spice, no depth, and no freshness. It tasted like they were serving reheated leftovers from last week. The quality of the ingredients? Horrifying. The meat was chewy and rubbery, the vegetables were limp and lifeless, and the sauces…oh god, the sauces. They were thick, gelatinous, and strangely sweet with a chemical aftertaste, as if they had been concocted in a lab rather than a kitchen. China House has managed to achieve what I thought was impossible: making Chinese food that is both inedible and unforgettable, for all the wrong reasons. If this restaurant stays open another day, it will be a testament to people’s willingness to suffer. Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in town—this is NOT one of them. If you value your time, money, and digestive health, steer clear of this culinary disaster. China House deserves to close its doors, and frankly, it can’t happen soon enough.
My wife and I had the general tso chicken and curry chicken, and both tasted AWFUL!!! ABSOLUTE WORST fast food Chinese food we've ever had!!! Tso chicken had NO FLAVOR and NO SPICE (KICK) JUST PLAIN!! We won't ever eat here again!!!
Panda Express
Very friendly, helpful! Food was ok, not original, was cooked well except Broccoli almost raw, and spring roll was mushy inside, went about 4 oclock on wed, 3 dishes empty, everything left available was spicy, only had to wait a couple minutes for 1 of the dishes. Flavored tea was too weak
Tried to go here for dinner today at approximately 5:15PM. We had to wait several minutes to put in the order. We weren’t greeted or addressed at all. But that’s not unexpected for this place. They put priority on the drive through instead. Once we were able to order, we were told there would be a wait for teriyaki chicken for about 5 minutes, which wasn’t preferable, but understandable. We proceeded to order and then we were told that they had run out of white rice. So we had to ask how long it would be and the worker seemed really inconvenienced and annoyed that somebody had the audacity to ask two times about how long it would be for a regular popular menu item to be back on the line. We were then told it would be 30 minutes. No apology was given. It was just 30 minutes was all we were told. What kind of piss poor managed place runs out of one of their primary sides during a dinner rush. This place has always been sketchy at best, but this was absolutely beyond the pale. I will never be going back to this location.
