Saffron Indian & Chinese Kitchen
Do not order from here unless you are cool with them screwing up your order and then not answering the phone or their door or their customer service messenger when you try to request a refund. Had pieces of chicken floating around in my vegetarian paneer Sauce, and my moms curry spice level was Supposed to be mild and she received hot. Leaving both of us unable to eat our ordered meals. Then had to jump through an hour of hoops to attempt to get my refund. I have since heard multiple stories of this place screwing up orders. When I went to try and get my money back, the guy working There took 45 minutes to talk to me, and then after explaining the situation, he handed me his personal cell phone and told me to call the manager at home and told me to figure it out. still not 100% sure if I am getting refunded or not
0 Stars. Similar to many other reviews, do not order from this restaurant. We placed an order that was supposed to be delivered at 12:30pm. At 12:55pm we received a text that the order was cancelled. We called them multiple times for the status and they insisted the driver was on the way and would be there within 5 minutes every time we called, at this point it was 1:30pm - 2 hours after we placed the order. When we called them a final time for a refund he hung up on us twice. The food was never delivered and we never received a refund. Based on the other reviews it seems like this is something they do regularly.
Lucky Dragon
Fried rice was basically white rice with a little bit of egg in it. The General Tso’s was alright, but not really flavorful. My coworker ordered the orange chicken and it was so gross and mushy looking. She tried a bite and threw the rest out. Ordered egg rolls and one only got one roll. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
I ordered Fried Rice and fried rice noodles. Generally speaking, it was a good dining experience. They are all cooked with fresh ingredients and spices, and the taste is also great, making people feel very satisfied. The environment of the restaurant is also very good, clean and tidy.
Taste of Orient
Great food at a great price! You can see by my picture of the shrimp and steak with noodles that the plates are massive! Great flavor. Soda is bottles or cans, no fountain. Mine was $12.95 for Hibachi shrimp and steak-I may have paid extra for the lo mein instead of rice. Our order was 2 large orders of General Tso's chicken, 1 steak and shrimp hibachi with noodles, crab rangoon (6) and 3 bottles of soda for $57 plus tip. Easily enough for 5 more meals with our left overs.
I had an amazing experience at Taste of Orient! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was cooked perfectly, from the popcorn chicken, to the spring rolls. The fried rice was light and fragrant. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The service was quick, and they were happy to answer any questions about the menu. The restaurant itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere for our meal. Overall, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever visited. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!
NE Chinese Restaurant
Incredible comfort food. The twice cooked fish is so good. Like crazy good. Get it. The cumin Lamb is also incredible, great seasoning. One of the most unique dishes is the ginger pork chop, the flavor and breading were immaculate. We came in on a lazy Sunday, place empty, dead afternoon hours... and recieved good service, and plate after plate of wonderfully cooked food, every dish as good as the last. Impressive. The spicy potato salad is fantastic, as is the spicy gizzard with cucumber salad. The Chinese doughnuts are like fried air, unspeakably satisfying. Great numbing sichuan pepper chile seasoning and spice on most all dishes. 8.7/10 food, with a 9.5/10 being perfect Authentic flavor and preparation, I recommend.
Fun authentic Chinese vibe. Great food, the portions are large, so unless you are taking out, or a giant~ share an entree.
KIRIN NOODLE SUSHI & BAR
Your friendly neighborhood ramena and sushi place! It's unassuming, but that's its charm. You get so much more than what you expect, and that is exactly what you want. The food is delicious, the service is nice, and the owner is usually always there.
I make it a point to try Ramen everywhere I travel. Who knew that the world's best was here in Columbus, OH? The price is reasonable. Although I ordered Kirin Noodle thru Uber Eats (which delivered rather quickly if I may add) the quality was fresh, the food was warm. The flavor was incredible! If the service is this delicious in delivery, I MUST try the dine-in experience at the restaurant. Kirin is now my go-to for Ramen.
Ying's Teahouse & Yum-Yum
Such a low key Chantonese restaurant!! I was dealing some person stuffs in the neighborhood and got attracted by their authentic Beijing food 8 years ago. They don’t make Beijing food anymore since the ownership changed. So I ordered Beef Chow Ho Fun and it was so authentic and so delicious. I talked to the owner and asked where he is from and it turns out he is from Guangdon and that’s why the Beef Chow Ho Fun is so delicious!! The fried chicken is also crispy and juicy! I am so satisfied and happy to find this little hidden authentic Chinese restaurant! Definitely recommend everybody to try!!
I ordered online and picked up. My food was amazing but the thai tea was not good; it was really bitter. I had gotten the vegetable and tofu dumplings which were just spinach; those were good but more was needed in them. I also got the tofu pad thai which was good but had a different taste than traditional pad thai here in columbus. Lastly I got the sweet sesame balls which were filled with red bean, those are a MUST!! Portions were generous. Overall I liked it. 2 entrees, a drink, and dessert was about $40.
Lieu's Asian Cuisine
This was our first time trying this restaurant after years of not having Chinese when our old go-to closed down. We’ve heard good things and decided to try it. Not only was the owner so very nice and helpful but the food was fresh and delicious! We didn’t dine in but the place was clean and comfortable looking! We will be going back soon to try other items!
Family run restaurant and good Chinese food for our holiday tradition. Had the green beans and salt and pepper chicken.
Royal Spice Indian Restaurant
When we pulled up I was thinking that there is no way this is going to be any good. Located in a partially rundown strip mall is this diamond in the rough. When we opened the door I was so impressed with how nice it was inside. The staff were incredible and the food was absolutely wonderful. I have never had Indian food before and I cannot wait to go and have it again. What a wonderful experience. Every thing I tasted was amazing. Loved it.
I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was exquisite, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to India. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal. Highly recommended!
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
Worst food ever -as soon as I saw the color of the general tso chicken I know it wasnt going to be good and it wasnt. Pupu platter for 2 was box individually (which was nice) but the food itsself was horrible and Now all of it is in the trash (waste if $50)
The sweet and sour chicken pieces are way to big. Same as the general toes chicken, the pieces are way to big. The food is way to bland and has no taste. And they never gave me my shrimp roll but sure as hell charged me it. Bad business practice never ordered from there before and never will again.
Panda Express
Panda Express tastes great. The walnut shrimp is my favorite. The service was really kind that they did samples patiently before the quarantine. The service is sometimes slow and not friendly during lunch or dinner hours. Their app can order ahead and have some deals. The cleanliness in this store has been a problem that the tables are covered by oil and leftover rice.
I feel like this is one of the best Panda Express stations I have ever been to. The food here is always fresh and good like it was made from love. I always ende up finishing a plate.
#1 China Buffet
I visited this place six years ago and gave them a five star rating and wrote a glowing review about how great it was, but since then the quality has dramatically decreased. Almost all Chinese buffets over multiple varieties of shrimp, but there were none at all to be found yesterday. At any other Chinese buffet I want General Tso's chicken over noodles, but it was terrible this time. The sauce was bland and as thin as water. The chicken was bland as well and had a very disagreeable texture and thicker breading than it should have. The bacon-wrapped crab leg segments were practically tasteless. How can you make bacon bland? I hate wasting food, but after a couple bites of the General Tso's chicken I set that plate aside and returned to the food lines. They had fried wings, and I thought they couldn't make anything fried bland so I took a few. I was wrong, the wings had very little taste. The breading on them was very thick and brittle with just a little meat underneath. Gone was the chocolate mocha cake they had six years ago. The Teriyaki chicken was just okay. The apple puffs were just okay with just a little apple filling in them. The only positive thing was that the crab rangoons were good. In the review I wrote six years ago I mentioned that they gave me a seniors' discount without me even asking, but this time when I asked about it the guy said, "No, everybody pay same." BTW, the pictures you see here are from the five star review I wrote six years ago. Their line doesn't look nearly this good now.
Loved this place as a kid staff was always friendly and kind but now staff is rude I order from here occasionally but really tempted to not order from here anymore the down fall is this is the only chinese restaurantin our small town. Every time I order from here stuff is missing or they mess up the order. I've went back to tell them my order is messed up or they forgot things and they want to argue about how I didn't order this I ordered that ect. I'm autistic and always write my order down before calling or have someone call. I had a friend go in and order one time my friend showed the lady my order on my note pad on my phone and the order was still messed up/missing things. This establishment has really went down hill and it saddens me cause this was my favorite place to eat growing up. Also the front area upon walking in is always a mess always has boxes piled up.
J Liu Restaurant & Bar
Food: 4/5 ✨ - The salad was great and the drinks were strong! 😋😄 We got the calamari, which came with friend veggies, which were also very good. Our main dishes were alright, but not as tasty as we were hoping. The sesame chicken was "just okay." Service: 5/5 ✨ - Friendly, accommodating staff. Ambiance: 4.5/5 ✨ - The 80s music was an interesting, yet lively vibe, but maybe a little too loud 😄
Went in on a Sunday for a Bloody Mary. Salmon dish was presented well and a good first impression. Had to try the burger, it's ok but you are better off with the more Asian inspired dishes. Service was excellent, thank you Jeff! Bartender Jeff was attentive and engaging with clients. Edit. Worst chicken ever presented on a salad. It was so tough we couldn't tear it with our hands!
