Cravings
Such a cute find in downtown Geneva. The staff is friendly and the food is really good! They have a variety of dishes, something for everyone. Our favorites would be the beef pancake which is hard to find, not many places have this. Their chow fun is one of the best we’ve ever had. Not overly saucy, good flavor and the meat is tender. My kids love the kalbi which has a nice sweetness to it. The smoothies are also really good, they use fresh fruit! We love this place! Sandy, Mimi and Max run a great restaurant. Highly recommend!
Amazing service, good food. The dumpling were on the more bready side. But the scallion pancake was crunchy to perfection. Would def go back! The owner and her daughter are awesome. Crab Rangoon had a nice sweetness to it.
Yangtze Inn
Wow! Significant drop in quality...no vegetable in the vegetable fried rice...no chicken on the General Tso's...just massive wads of breading. The filling in the spring roll was gross, slimy and weird. I used to love this place. I may give them one more shot, perhaps it was just an off night...but ugh....
I knew I shouldn't have ordered out during self-isolation, but I never expected to find a dead fly in the soy sauce for my dumplings - especially when I was on my last dumpling. Absolutely disgusted. It also took an hour and a half to get to my house. Will never eat here again.
North End Chinese Restaurant
Excellent food and friendly staff. Decided to try this place since I was craving chinese and panda express has been a disappointment lately. I got the sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon, vegetable chow mein and pork fried rice. All were delicious, well cooked and well seasoned. Will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend, give them a try and give them some business if you haven't, the quality is much better than fast food places like Panda express, and the portion sizes are very fairly priced for how much they give you.
Chow mein was luke warm, general chicken was extremely over spiced hot with what tasted like black pepper. No decent flavors in ANYTHING. Fried Rice was bland, fried shrimp were tiny, sweet and sour chicken (I think) was just terrible. Your meal was served in it to go box in Styrofoam and we dined in. Plus side: it was cheap!
New Garden Chinese Restaurant
Atmosphere is 5/5 exactly the vibe you are looking for for a spontaneous date night. absolutely no music here, but there is an awesome LED light humming sound to listen to. Food was ready in 5 minutes and pretty good. Bathroom was acceptable (except the mirror above the sink). Looks like 2 people work here, but a great experience nonetheless. Also Chinese zodiac placemat things so again, 5/5 experience.
Ordered on DoorDash. Had chicken lo mein with eggroll and egg drop soup. The lo mein was pretty bland. The soup and egg roll were ok although the eggroll was soggy and the egg drop soup was more like gravy, too thick.
Panda Express
YUM! Don't you just want to EAT this picture I took! I dined IN and I have to say: CHLOE keeps the tables, seats, tray returns in top form! No worries about deciding where to sit to eat! SUGHRA was amazingly PATIENT with me, reassuring me that the FIRE COOKED STEAK & SHRIMP is spicy, but not too hot (not as hot as General Tso's chicken!) The FOOD! The STEAK was generous large, juicy, perfectly cooked chunks and the SHRIMP was perfection! This is my new FAVORITE PANDA MEAL! ADAM, you have a GREAT CREW there at Panda!
Got a to go order with chow mein, orange, chicken, and beef and broccoli. Got home, and there was no orange chicken, just an empty space in the Styrofoam box. That’s probably the worst news when you are so starving.
New Lake View
Great Chinese food made fast and fair priced. Inside is still closed from COVID but picking up Togo orders is easy and they have interesting pamphlets to read while you wait. I’m from Las Vegas where they have the best foods in the world and this food would be competitive there so considering it’s here is something special.
The food is so, so good!!! The service is impeccable. I have nothing but good things to say. The options I choose are all I've tried so far. I have not been disappointed.
Dynasty Buffet
Last time they charged us twice so I have to dispute that now Time before that they only gave me 15 instead of 21. When I called, they said “no 15 is all”. On the menu still for 21 shrimp. They forgot the rice for sweet and sour pork. They have not offered to correct any of this. Will not go back
I went here three times in the last week I placed a mobile order we got pan fried dumplings which are very good especially the sauce they give you with them their fried rice was flavorless and bland unfortunately, The chow mein was good I would definitely order again
Sunny's Chinese Restaurant
My son and me like to go to Sunny’s for dinner each week on payday. We get whatever we like off of the buffet and take things to go as well. We like the food here.
We got in dining area for the buffet around 7:30pm ,food was luke warm, and very few choices then the waitress came out sweeping with a broom all through dining room,I asked her to stop while we eat and was ignored. Won't go back
El Rancho II
My granddaughter and I both ordered the chicken burrito El grande. They brought us a small bowl of cold chips. We didn't like their salsa, so we asked if they had some queso which she brought. The queso was bland white cheese. It didn't have flavor at all. We were starving so we ate it anyway. When she brought the burritos the presentation was nice with fresh vegetables, guacamole and sour cream. It looked great. Biting into the burrito... it tasted like canned chicken with some beans, honestly I did not taste or smell any spices whatsoever. I ate the vegetables and maybe two bites of the burrito. I'm pretty much of a tightwad so I usually take all of my leftovers home. I didn't even want to take anything home because I knew I never wanted to eat it again. Also I was quite shocked when I got the bill that a small bowl of queso cost $9.50. She told me it was specially made there, but again, it was white bland cheese with no spices, so I can't understand what the recipe would be. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The place was clean.
Waitress was nice and attentive, restaurant was very clean. I think the chicken in my enchiladas was very bland.
Peking Media Restaurant
It was my boyfriend and I’s first time dining here and we couldn’t be happier. Great food, drinks & staff……. We’ll definitely be back!
Dine-In, The service was decent, and the food was average. The atmosphere was okay nothing particularly stood out. Overall, it was a decent dining experience, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine there again
