Taste of China
Fast. I liked the flavor of the fried rice because it had what tasted to be some extra umami flavor. Oyster sauce maybe? The chicken itself had a lot of sauce. There was enough for me to have a full meal and leftovers for another meal. It re-heated relatively well also.
This place used to be golden. Food always great. But now that the lady with the bun is gone. The food is horrible and when i say horrible i mean it. It breaks my heart i drive 30 mins just to come to this place. Lo main was dry and teriyaki chicken was old and hard. Well i guess ill be finding another spot.
Wang's Kitchen
Just ate at this restaurant. I ordered house fried rice with no onions and boneless spare ribs and my wife ordered something different. We spent about 40 dollars on this meal. When we were handed our order I ask for plates because we decided to eat there. She said they don’t give plates. And then I ask what the tables were for? And the response was, “oh plates cost 5 cents”. Paid 10 cents for the plates and sat down starting eating my meal and this is what my rice looked like. Some of the rice was clumped together and it was overcooked. I ask her was this normal showing her the tray of rice and she said yes. Please view the photos I have with this post. This is the first and last time I come to this restaurant. The food was nasty and the customer service unprofessional.
Used to have the best take out chinese food in the area but lately the food has been very greesy and tastes rancid as if they are not changing the frying oil on a regular basis. Also there is no point in calling your order in ahead of time as they will only start cooking it when you arrive so you have to wait anyway. Looking for a better place nearby. Still haven't found one.
Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet
This was hands down the best Asian buffet I’ve been to in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredible—staff were consistently attentive, checking in often and offering drink refills without me even having to ask. The restaurant was spotless, which really stood out and made the whole dining experience even better. The price was more than reasonable for the quality and variety offered. The food was absolutely top tier. Every dish I tried was fresh and flavorful, and the options were impressive—from classic favorites to more unique dishes. The hibachi station especially stood out—the ingredients were fresh, the chef was skilled, and the flavors were on point. I genuinely have no complaints. It’s rare to find a buffet that nails great service, cleanliness, and quality food all at once. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying, high-quality dining experience. I’ll definitely be going back!
Food was delicious. Very friendly customer service Atmosphere. However if you stay 90 minutes over, they charge you. What if your with a big party or small children, you have to eat quickly. Never heard of such at an all you can eat buffet...but a good establishment very clean
Jumbo China Restaurant
This restaurant serves a great variety of Asian dishes, with their standout specialty being the Crispy Sesame Jumbo Shrimp, which I highly recommend. The prices are very reasonable, and they offer delivery service, with generous and well-presented portions. It's an excellent choice for enjoying flavorful Asian cuisine in a comfortable setting at affordable prices
New chef, a non Asian. I asked for egg food Yung Without onions. His onion substitute was wonderful! He drained the oil from my food very well. Definitely not one who believes pouring extra oil over the food makes the food taste better Yuck. I went Saturday April 5, 2025, after 7pm I want to know who he is. What's his name? Restaurant @ 404 E Six Forks Dr Rd. Raleigh
Wang's Kitchen
Came Here For Dinner. The Place Is Kinda Hidden. Typical Chinese Menu. I Got The Fired Chicken Wings With Fried Rice. Total Was About $10.75. Did Not Come With Egg Roll. But Their Other Dinner Combos Do Come With An Egg Roll. The Wings Are Big And Tasty. And You Get A Enormous Amount Of Fried Rice. From 1 To 10 I Give This Place A 7.
Never go here I asked for plain fried rice didn’t know until mid way it had pork it called to complain they told me to come back on Tuesday just to find out their closed after driving all the way up here on my Lunch break beyond disgusted
Dim Sum House
Wanted dimsum and Google sent us here. What a gem! We went 29 minutes after opening on a Friday and the place was quiet with one other family. There is plenty of seating for large parties inside. Clean and cozy, under dim lights (some ceiling tiles could use a replacement). The hostess was very friendly and explained the ordering process. They leave a sort of ordering checklist at your table for you to mark the dim sum you want to order along with a two-sided color picture menu. Food was good quality and the entree dishes were plentiful. Hostess was very attentive even as the place started getting busy with the lunch crowd. We ordered quite a bit of differing dim sum dishes, like fried shrimp spring rolls, pork buns, steamed shrimp balls, crispy fried shrimp, seafood delight, 😋 with hopes to return and try the others. Highly recommend!
I was a little worried reading the reviews, but went for it anyways and honestly I’m glad I did. The food was hot, fresh and well seasoned. Plenty per portion also. I eat dim sum often and I don’t think it’s as bad as all the reviews. I’ll be back
Hibachi China 88
I ordered chicken hibatchi with no veggies. I got a ton of rice and a small portion of chicken. I been to hibatchi 88 plenty of times but this was my first time at this location. Usually when I order no veggies they give me a little more chicken. Not a whole lot more but a fair amount. This was also the first place that only gives you one sauce and require you pay additional for extra. All other locations provide you with 2 sauces. So it was kinda dry. I wouldn't go back to this location.
We’ve been coming here for YEARS and it never disappoints. It’s not a fancy place, far from it, but the staff are very friendly and highly efficient. From the chicken chow mein to the house fried rice to anything on the hibachi grill to all types of sushi, it’s always been delicious. Today we tried the shrimp fried rice and Szechuan lo mein with pork/chicken - YUMMY.
China King
Idk if it’s a different race making this food but it definitely isn’t Chinese! The food has no taste at all , rice sucks , ribs sucks. Then they don’t even put fortune cookies or sauces. Hire real Chinese cooks cause the ones yall have now don’t know anything
Just finished eating, leftovers are still hot. I am so satisfied. Hubby and I made an order on a whim, and we are happy we did. Fresh food, fresh oil, and we are impressed. This is our go to Chinese food, but today they outdid themselves!
New Panda Restaurant
NOTE: I've rated this location with regard to other fast-casual Chinese restaurants that are similar to it in mind. If you are reading this, keep this in mind throughout the review! Also, keep in mind that to receive a five-star rating would require me to love almost everything about the place and so I reserve that star for places that exceed almost every expectation. It is a pretty decent location with good, fresh food. Food is not overly greasy or oily. Sauces are also very saucy, which is great, giving the dishes lots of flavor! Soups have flavor as well and dishes don't all taste the same (which I find many Chinese fast-casual restaurants tend to have an issue with). Vegetables are fresh. I usually go with the Hunan Chicken or Chicken w/Broccoli and Fried Eggrolls or Dumplings and they taste pretty good. I also like Fried Rice and Lo-Mein once in a while. Then again, I am one for Hunan dishes, in general... but this place does not disappoint, as far as I'm concerned! Sauce is savory and flavorful, which I personally can appreciate. I can't really speak to the atmosphere as this is more of a take-out location, I would say. I can't speak to other people's experiences, but as far as I'm concerned, overall, it's a good location to pick up some Chinese food to-go!! Thank you for the good food! :)
Food is absolutely delicious and fresh, have eaten here twice with my mom. My only suggestion would be to not alter your order too much from how it should originally be made. We requested the pork to be left out of our House Special Rice, and it ended up being too much rice. Although fresh and tasty, not too greasy, we had to add a little home ingredients and it still turned out amazing. Service is exceptional and if you dine in, very clean. Plaza of location also had alot to offer with plenty of parking. Thank you New Panda for being an amazing place with yummy food :)
China Wok
I like this place I feel like the food could be alittle better. I like the shrimp fried rice the best sometimes It can be dry but I get duck sauce to make up for it. The shrimp egg rolls are good and a decent size as well. The service is ok they’re nice but the lady is really stingy with the sauces I’ll get a large shrimp fried rice and she’ll give me 4 duck sauces when I ask for extra. I try and say a lot of duck sauce not to much but enough for my egg rolls and my entree. It’s never enough so I try and keep sauces home. But that’s the only down side is the service.
This China Wok has been in business since before I moved to Raleigh in 1992, and for it to still be in business in 2025 wow. I remember the food bring sooo good. My mother is from NY, and she said this was the closes thing to her beloved NY city Chinese food. I love this for them. I really want to plan a trip just to get some wings and fried rice.
China Queen
I ordered hot and sour soup, the first time I’ve been there. I’ve eaten this soup numerous times at other restaurants. But at this restaurant, the soup was extremely thick and looked like slime. And it had a weird taste. Highly disappointed.
Stopped by for a dine in lunch. Ordered the moo goo gai pan (chicken with mushroom) lunch special, which comes with veggie fried rice. The food was tasty, and the price was decent. They do have lunch buffet (as of Oct 2022, the price is $9.99 for adult buffet) but the buffet is only open 11-2:30 p.m. Quick service and overall a decent experience.
Spring Kitchen
Nice Chinese food for a good price. I really like this place in the lunchtime. I always ask for Chicken Fried Rice, Mixed Vegetables (with White Rice) and Moo Goo Gai Pan (with White Rice) for take out, the food is delicious, and the service is fast. Likewise, I always call, and they have the food ready. They have some tables in the interior and one table outside if you want to eat in the restaurant. This restaurant is a good daily option.
