TEN SECONDS RICE NOODLE
They make takoyaki !! It’s so authentic and yummy. I love the server we got. My friend is vegan and he checked the ingredients and made sure she wouldn’t get anything she couldn’t have. Very friendly service. It’s great variety and small plates if you want to bring friends to try a variety or share a big bowl of the most savory soups.
The service was excellent! Our waiter was super friendly and patient. My sister and I absolutely love the place. For the appetizer, we ordered the hot & sour cucumber, and it was even better than I expected, so tasty! Everything was great, but I do want to mention that all their broths contain pork, so the only option for rice noodles was the tomato beef brisket rice noodles. Here are my ratings: Hot & sour cucumber: 10/10 Shrimp dumplings: 8/10 Tomato beef brisket rice noodles: 9/10 Mini milk bun: 10/10 Shrimp rice noodle roll: 10/10 (my favorite) Egg roll: 7/10 Passion fruit tea: 10/10 Grass jelly with honeydew, banana, tapioca pearls, fruit jelly, taro balls, and milk: 10/10
China Express
I wanted to order food online for pick up. But I couldn't find broccoli! Then I called the store. I asked a few questions. The lady answered me impatiently! She hung up before I finished speaking. I thought the store must be very busy. . I arrived at the store in 15 minutes! The food was not ready. I waited another 15 minutes. In the store, I saw the lady arguing with a customer. Half an hour later, I finally got my food! I ate half of it and saw a bug. So disgusting. I called the store to ask for a refund. The lady also argued with me! No refund! Even though I said I could take the food back! The attitude was also very tough and no refund! The food was not delicious. The hygiene was not up to standard! Not recommended。 Update. The owner responded to my review. Said they were not busy at all. Yes. When I asked the lady on the phone! She hung up before I finished speaking! I thought the restaurant was busy. I thought. I never said she was the old lady? Tried to say I didn't place the order with her.. Very bad attitude! Owen(owner ) should be the lady at the front desk. Will not be back. Not recommended. I will also post it on Facebook to tell all family and friends!
You know how those days are, where you need a little quiet time. It's back to school weekend where we raise the little people at church to their parallel Sunday school grade - great bunch of kids. A gracious plenty - then to Grandma's for a TV crime mystery. I just needed a quick pop-in for lunch. China Express is easy to find out by Rucker LN and Franklin RD immediately abutting Cinco de Mayo. It's quick, it's clean, it's easy, it's quite. And parking and ingress and egress is no trouble. You might even find a spot with shade from a tree if the luck holds out. Mongolian Chicken and fried rice - a staple in Chinese-American food was the spot hitting grub of today. The combo plate actually. Generous portions served hot. I know everyone likes to see perfect scores but one suggests perfection. And anyone who follows knows I do try to offer feedback in a polite and helpful way. And food served cool/warm will cost a star ⭐. But, that wasn't the case today. If you like yours hot like I do - check the steam out in the video clip. It really was a great lunch after a full delightful morning. After, I had no trouble slipping off into Sunday afternoon nap mode.
Great Wall
First time in Murfreesboro and we were craving Chinese takeout and this was so amazing! Plain lo Mein noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and broccoli w/beef were so flavorful! Don’t even get me started with the crab Rangoons!! We were so happy to find this place, absolutely made our entire trip!
My husband and I were excited to try this place as most of the reviews are 4-5 stars(even though they are not leaving comments) leads me to believe they are paid for. We order Beef & Broccoli it has no flavor it was just bland and the meat if very chewy. The Shrimp Egg roll were not bad but only 1 shrimp in each one. The fried rice has almost NOTHING in it but a few peas and a few carrots and was hardly fried. It was very mushy. The Boneless Spare Ribs we ok, it was a large portion, but very chewy. Even the Fortune cookies seamed to be stale. Will have to keep hunting for a good Chinese Restaurant.
No.1 Chinese Restaurant
It was Absolutely delicious. I got the Beef and Broccoli with noodles and an egg role. The flavors was definitely there. I haven't tasted Chinese food this good in a minute. You will not be waisting your money.
It's very simple. Nice variety and sound value. The food tasty. No water option unless bottled/no cups or fountain drinks. Plasticware/no stainless. The food itself has always been good, prepared promptly and served hot. Very convenient to get to and thus far, never had any trouble finding parking. They get mostly takeaway from what I observed so here's a menu and you know how to ring in an order. Give them a go and see what you like.
King Chef
Was very surprised at how good the food was at King Chef. I'm pretty sure everything is made to order, and not just sitting in a pan in the back. My food tasted very fresh, very good, very hot, and plenty of it. General Tso combo with soup is really good. If you love standard Chinese food, be prepared to be very happy with King Chef because it was much better!
So I tried this place because of the reviews and I have mixed feelings about this place that is making me reconsider if I want to go there again. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein, - This was very good, enjoyed it. I also ordered the hot and sour soup. I have definitely had better. The soup was very thin and watery. I could only spot a few mushroom and a couple of pieces of tofu. The rest was all soup and again it was very thinned out. The next thing we ordered was the sweet and sour chicken. This was truly disappointing. The outside texture of the chicken wasn't golden brown as I am used to. It had an appearance that makes me feel that it was frozen and fried (looked like freezer burn) or it is batched cooked and kept warm. The outside had a "white like" freezer burn appearance. When you bite into it, the batter had separated from the chicken. It resembled crisy fried chicken versus and sweet and sour chicken. There was a gap between the batter and the chicken. So I would definitely not recommend it if this is the what it normally looks like. We did pay to upgrade the fried rice to the lo mein (it was $2.00, but that's pretty good). It tasted ok, but there was a smell when you opened up the box of burnt food. Overall, its not the worst, but I definitely have had in my opinion what I can call fresher and better prepared food.
Song Da
This seems to be a take out spot but they do have a couple of tables that allow dining in. I enjoyed their Happy Family but switched the sauce from a brown to white. The only reason I can't do five stars is the lack of space for dining in and limited drink selection. This probably won't be an issue if you're local and do take out. But, if you're from out of town be aware.
Best Chinese in the area. We’ve been coming here for years and will only come here. Our favorites are the chicken & broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and the vegetable egg rolls.
Golden China
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It tastes like it was frozen then fried. Chicken was tough and rubbery. Also I asked for a side of onions and bell peppers so that I can put it in my sauce. She said that she couldn’t sell it to me because it did come in the sauce. Even though they have bell peppers and onions in the restaurant to add to other dishes. I offered to pay extra but to not avail. The rice was clumpy and old. Will never return to this place.
The portions r humungous, but the chicken platter I got had alot if hard pieces in it if it wasn't for that they'd have got 5 stars. The lady took my order was very nice. The size I got was large an both containers were full all the way before I ate it of course.
Panda Express
Great customer service, friendly staff, attentive, clean! Darlene was friendly!
The family deal was awesome!! _ adults and had lots of leftovers. The rice was a little plain though. They could go better. But you HAVE to try the pomegranate pineapple drink. Oh my God 10 stars it was amazing!!!
Shun Cheong
This Chinese restaurant is a local gem! I had a fantastic delivery experience, highlighted by the mouthwatering General Tso's chicken. The freshness and quality of the ingredients truly stood out. Excellent choice – highly recommended!"
I've been ordering takeout from Shun Cheong for several years, and the food has always been great. My favorites are the Sweet Sour Chicken and fried rice always seem fresh and the food doesn't seem over salted.
China Garden
I ordered door dash. The food was done quickly. I love the orange chicken. I got mild and it’s a kiss of sweet heat. Loved it. I also like that I could order lo mein noodles plain for my picky child. She loved them with her sweet and sour chicken. Also the crab ragoons are really tasty. Also the type of rice they use is a good texture. It’s hard to find a good one but this has been my favorite so far.
I decided to stop here for my lunch break as soon as I headed in I went to the restroom and out of the corner of my eye I see this little guy staring at me. That wasn’t enough to make me leave tho, I decided I would still sit down and give it a shot. when I did they didn’t Inform me I had to grab my own menu so I just sat there for a minute when finally the lady said are you ready to order I responded yes mam and she just sat there. I walked out and will never be back. I do not recommend at all
China Wok
The food was so bad that we threw it away after 4 bites. The Lo Mein was very dry, rubbery and left a lingering awful aftertaste in our mouths. The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and hard to chew, the egg rolls were edible, the broccoli and chicken had no taste and we put soy sauce on it to see if it would add flavor to it, it didn't. Literally threw all 3 of our meals away after 3 or 4 bites. $55 for garbage...
The food was decent enough but the service was terrible. There is this young girl working in the front and she was lovely (the only good part of my whole experience) and she greeted all the costumers with great service. Then you got this crazy lady and she started yelling at her. In fact every time I’ve come to order after the change of owners(I think there was a change) I hear yelling and arguing in the kitchen. I hope that young lady leaves soon and find a different place to work. Never seen an employer yell at their own employees in front of the costumers before
Panda Express
Absolute worst. I get larvea in my food. I call I'm stuck at work and get a call telling me i need to bring my receipt and pictures of the food. Are you kidding me. I didn't get to eat I already wasted my time driving there once to pay for food with fly larvae/full grow maget in it. Immoral piece of crap manager who made Marie call me. Give me a refund or I sue and I call heath department ! Plain and simple. Took my money dont offer free food again. I dont want a replacement meal. You don't want me in your store, youll be embarrassed and all your customers will leave when I share my story. You had bugs in my chow main bowl with dried out beijing beef at 1245 today. Refund of my $26 is the only option. I'd post a picture but it will not give me the option on my phone to attach it here. I am utterly disguised and everyone i know including social media knows what has happens and what kind of result i didn't get given. I only left a 1 start review because it the only way to post a review with notes. This location on memorial blvd in Murfreesboro is the WORST food, customer service i have ever experienced in my life. I bought 2 meals mine was bowl with bejing beef and a medium side of chow main and a 2 entree with chow main and honey chicken and orange chicken. My husband wouldn't eat his after seeing what was in my food. You lose interest of eating when you see that!!!!!!
This is a new location so we were very hopeful that they would be on their A Game.... Welp, unfortunately that was not the case. Panda Express is Panda Express and IYKYK... This is a beautiful new space... That was the best part. The food was not at all presenting as fresh but.of.course they say oh it was just made... Absolutely no one said hello to us or cared to tell us about any of the foods or new menu opinions. I waited for fresh food and it still some how taste old, freezer burnt and stale. The noodles had literally just came from the wok, I saw them and they still taste freezer burnt and stale, 😕. The chicken had an awful texture, like thigh meat, fat, and grissle. The appetizers were great, my spring roll was piping hot and the cream cheese rangoons were good as well. I just threw the meal away. Didn't even bother asking for a solution bc the managers were preoccupied with standing in the way in the middle of the line speaking to a new hire. There also was a stray kid running around that belonged to one of the employees. It's nice that they tolerate that but at least make the child behave. 🤷🏾♀️
