We didn’t make reservations and there were plenty of open tables but still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated (I think the young hostess lacked experience). We had the mussels, they were tasty but had 2 fishy tasting mussels (not bad for a whole plate). The waiter forgot that we ordered drinks and had to ask him about the drinks 10 minutes later. The short rib is tender and the halibut (fresh catch special) was very good.

You guys! This place was INCREDIBLE! I've heard rumors that it was worth a try, but we were blown away! First, the atmosphere, both inside and out of this place is so cool! Built in 1913, the building has such a vibe to it! Sitting outside felt like we were taken back in time. Don't be surprised by the trains going by (they are loud), if you do sit outside, it's still so worth it. Now the food? Oh man...I can't say enough about the food! Fantastic presentation, perfect portions, and worth the prices. We had the short rib and the duck, SO, so, good! Lastly, the service is great! Kim was our server and she was a pleasure to chat with about the history of the restaurant, bourbon, you name it! I love that we finally able to check this place out. Even better when celebrating something! If you're looking for a new place to go and want to try something great, this is the place! Bring the kids, take the girls, or even better, bring a date! We will be back!

The manager (Tamara) was very accommodating, friendly, funny, and generous. The server (Abby) was patient and kind. The food was AMAZING! The portion sizes were massive for the amount we paid. We will definitely go back again 🔥🔥

Thirty-five years ago, growing up in Cary, Plum Garden was the only Chinese restaurant my parents would order from—they swore it was the best they’d ever had. While I’ve always loved Chinese food and wasn’t as picky, now that I’m grown and living in Woodstock, I have to agree: Plum Garden truly is the best. Back then, our go-to dishes were the “Hawaiian Love Boat for 2” and the Triple Dragon. These days, I can’t get enough of their Mai Tais, Hong Kong Chicken, Crispy Honey Shrimp, and Chef Style Fried Rice. Honestly, I’ve never had a dish there I didn’t love! Beyond the incredible food, the dining experience is equally impressive. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a charming cultural flair, and the staff is nothing short of exceptional. From the warm welcome of the hostess to the attentive servers and the hardworking bussers, everyone is friendly, kind, and makes every visit feel special.

I have been here a couple times and really enjoyed it. It was delicious. I went back two days ago and spent $60 on food. Horrible. Over fried everything. Everything tasted like it was covered in oil. My chicken tasted like it was fried multiple times. All of the seafood tasted like imitation. The egg drop soup tasted and had the consistency of egg yolks uncooked. I don’t know what happened. I dont know if different cooks are there or what. But every single thing I ordered went to waste and was not edible. Pretty upset. That was one of my birthday meals for the weekend. I am now unsure if I would return. It was my new spot for the past year and a half when I moved here.

I ordered a the rice with sweet and sour chicken and gave me and my family terrible stomach ache I also had the sprig roll and found hard red stuff in it definitely not ordering from here again

This is the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever ordered for delivery. This is the fifth time I order from them. And every time I order, they get something wrong. The lady that takes the order that she says she's the owner of the place. Is nasty disgusting and rude. She needs to find someone that can take the orders correctly over the phone. I'm not gonna say that. The food is bad because it's not bad, but the service sucks badly. she speaks to you in a condescending manner and yelling at you over the phone telling me that She repeated the order to me but yet got the order wrong. Like come on, get it right if you don't know how to work the front end and take orders correctly. Find someone that could. This is ridiculous. People spend good money to get food that they order. And when they get their food delivered is something different. From what day order. It's very disappointing.

Do not know how this place rated a 4.1 in reviews...I have eaten enough Chinese food in my lige to say this was by far the worst Chinese food i have ever eaten...do not waste you hard earned money on this poor excuse for food..

Don't order from this place. I was on my lunch break from work and I ordered from them. By the time I go pick it up they told me they don't accept amercian express. I told them that's my only form of payment and they didn't care. They would rather loose a customer and throw away the food then just accept my American express card.

This is the best Korean restaurant my husband and I have ever been to. It is a hole in the wall, mom & pop vibe. The food was incredible and the service was perfect. The Korean lady and her husband really work really hard to tend to everyone no matter how busy it got throughout the night. We were so pleased, even at the end they brought us complimentary dessert. Amazing food, 10/10 recommend! I love this place, feels like home and we are not even Korean! Thank you for the good food, a perfect end to our beach day! 💗

This place deserves an infinite amount of stars! The atmosphere was amazing, and the food was outstanding and so delicious! Everyone was so nice and sweet, and Awesome service! We even received complimentary sides and desserts! This place is a must visit! Definitely coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

the food is delicious the prices are reasonable and the service is great. The food was well prepared and served quickly. i enjoyed the jerky, and a well prepared burger and fries and a side of wings. i highly recommend and well return.

Ordered pick up and was told 25 minutes for order to be ready. Order was not ready until 60 minutes after it was placed, and they didn't even apologize. And they forgot to make a sandwich as part of the order. (We decided to just get a refund for it and move on.) We were waiting with hungry kids and the delay was actually delaying our journey home as we are not from the area. The Mazza platter was delicious, but the staff commented to each other about how I ordered too much food for our family and motioned that I am crazy. (Very judgemental considering that they have no idea what our situation is and that we are paying a lot of money for this food.) We generally felt unwelcome in the restaurant. The taco salad had very little lettuce and way too much rice. "Balsamic vinaigrette" was just plain balsamic vinegar. The Israeli salad was mostly Bell peppers and didn't taste like any Israeli salad my family has ever eaten (not in a good way). Probably won't ever return here. Unless I order a Mazza platter for delivery next time we are nearby, I guess.

Discovered this place tonight looking for take out for the family on the way from work. The Beef Chow Fun was excellent! Found my new sport for Chinese food !

Consistently great Chinese food. Food always arrives hot for delivery and tastes delicious every time. One of the best chinese spots around and I highly recommend them.

Sesame chicken and General Tso’s chicken are the gold standard to my Chinese food order. I wish the sesame chicken was crispier but other than that it had good flavor. The wontons were my jam too and always a guilty pleasure. Cross between 3 and 4 stars. If I could get 3.5 stars I would.

Truly one of the best Thai dishes I’ve ever had. Food came out piping hot, the flavors were perfectly blended, veggies were fresh with a crunch. I ordered mine medium spicy and it was spot on. Staff is polite, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Highly recommend.

The food continues to live up to its hype and consistency! Probably our 5th time ordering The pad see yew was super flavorful and delicious, chicken super super good quality. I was in a rush and the staff were super kind and accommodating to me for takeout :)

This was my goto Chinese in Wall/Belmar area but 2 recent issues will make me go elsewhere. #1 they stopped delivery to Wall near the Colfax Plaza which they use to do. 2 last night we ordered to pick up. When we entered the two kids were on thier as well as the Mom (assumed Mom) all to busy to greet me or pick thier head up from thier phones. The Gentleman (same man that has been there for years) in the back cooking was the only one that responded and properly greeted me. If you're in the services stay off your mobile phones

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time. Period. I’ve watched their kids grow up and gotten spectacular food at the same time. I like the lo-mein, sweet and sour pork and vegetables with brown sauce.

While coming back from Chicago, we stopped here for lunch… The town looks like no one visits, but given its houses & churches arc style, it seems this area must be a great spot in its heyday Coming to the restaurant- We were the only ones there so no rush! The Owner himself cooks/serves & bills. One man does all the job. We ordered- Ghee Dosa Dat Tadka & Chapati Dosa was good and so was its dal. Simple but best! The only thing which I did not like was its plastic plate & spoons. It is not a fast-food joint and I am paying what normal restaurants charge. I understand due to cost cutting, the owner provides service like this, but I won’t come where food is served in plastic Other than that, the food was good, service was a bit slower (Single man does all the job), and clean restaurant.

The food! The variety of flavors that arrived at our table was delectable. Every dish had its own distinct flavor and all were delicious. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. We had the Idly and Veda combo, the chicken Kottu Parotta, and another dish that had a wonderful sauce... I will be going back to figure out what it was. The menu offers many vegetarian options.
