Spring Shabu-Shabu
Excellent service ! Susie was great! She really knows how to take care of your table. Place is very clean and is better than the Flushing location.
Beautiful place. The place is aesthetically pleasing and our server Dana was excellent. Everything was clean and wonderful. Prices are great! I highly recommend this place for hot- pot.
Lu Xiang Village
Only Chinese customers here, that to us speaks as very good! We were looking for Chinese too early for Dim Sum. Freshly made buns & douhua ( Tofu flower salty) . Highly recommend the broth from the northern region.
Whenever I visit Houston Bellaire Blvd, I normally go to San Dong for pan-fried steam buns, but unfortunately, they ran out of them today, so I decided to try Lu Xiang Village instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of buns they had and how affordable they were. They offered three varieties of fried buns, and I got two of each at just $2.60 per bun. The buns were outstanding. Each bite had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy textures, with a generous amount of savory filling that really hit the spot. My favorite was the pork and cabbage, followed closely by the pork and onion. Both were packed with flavor, and the fillings were juicy and well-seasoned. The buns themselves were very filling—two were more than enough to satisfy my craving, making them a great value for the price. I also picked up 10 of their steamed pork buns for $6.50, which were equally satisfying. The steamed buns had a soft, pillowy texture and were stuffed with a hearty pork filling. While I loved everything I ordered, I do wish they had chili oil available for dipping, which would have elevated the flavors even more. Overall, Lu Xiang Village exceeded my expectations and is now on my list of go-to spots on Bellaire Blvd. If you’re craving delicious, well-made buns at a great price, I highly recommend giving them a try.
TJ Food (Food Truck)
Absolutely delicious 煎饼 (pancake)! Authentic taste - comparable to the taste from China. Recommend to take soy bean milk with it - perfect pairing. Also silky tofu soup was tasty!
Nut allergy friendly for what I ordered! A small food truck located in a nondescript plaza, Lau's Kitchen is a hidden gem! On a nice day, you'll notice people waiting in their cars with the window down waiting for their orders to be called. Order to Ready: 6 Minutes We got a Laus Pancake Wrap with spam for three people to have a snack. It comes with two fluffy crepe-like wraps that are an explosion of sweet, spicy, crispy, and soft all at once. One is enough for a snack and two is a full meal, and the spam adds some protein and extra texture. The value is great for the portions you get!
House of Bowls
Most food are pretty authentic Hong Kong style dishes. With exception of deep fried tofu which is lack of golden color due to short cooking time. Also the乾炒牛河, they did not put enough heat before dumping the noodle into the Hot wok so there is lack of 鍋氣味道. I personally like that deep fry chicken wing with green onion.
Salt pepper fried Chicken is GREAT! The portion of the dishes are really large and home flavor, no over salty. We love the food and the atmosphere is very old China stylish which feels homie
食来食往 - 自选骨汤麻辣烫 - Malatang - Spice and Aroma
First time dine in after many times take out. The place is nice and clean. The food of course still taste so good! Will definitely come again to dine in more often!!!
Please pay attention to the order description as clients might paid extra for extra food not for fun. I ordered a malatang through doordash tonight, paid extra for fish and lamb. When I got home and started eating, I realized there was no lamb.
