Nino's Pizza
Ordered a Philly cheesesteak sub. “Classic thinly-sliced sirloin tips sautéed in our own special steak sauce with melted cheddar cheese, sweet peppers and onions.” Dry. A couple onion slices. No peppers detected. No sauce detected. No cheese detected. It’s a dry sub with some steak and a couple onion slices. Do better.
I used to be a big fan of Nino’s Pizza but up until recently the quality of service and food has gone down dramatically. I waited an additional 30 minutes on this. By the looks of it, they could’ve taken it out 10 minutes sooner. When I arrived at the stated time, they said an additional nine minutes so I came back 15 minutes later and my wings still weren’t done. My little kids couldn’t even eat it because the burnt bottom was too hard. Also what happened to the cheese? Wings were soggy and dry/rough.
Adam's Market
I have been wanting to leave this place a review for the longest time, and finally decided to do so. It’s a quick stop and shop that is family-owned and operated. These are great people who are always nice and thankful that you came in. They recently opened up a small grill and deli. We just got a sub, wings, and popcorn shrimp. Darn good food with ample portions and low prices. The subs are $5-6 less than Nino’s and Leo’s and just as good. Smaller? Sure. But, I’m sick of spending $19 for a sub that’s more bread than meat. Lottery, grocery items, soda, beer, subs, etc. You need to stop by and say hello. Keep small businesses like this running and give them your support. 👍🏻
Update March 22. 2025 Just picked up Ruben sandwich..... Unbelievable...... Excellent size and amounts of meat... Cheese ... Thousand island... And kraut. I love this place...... Beef on wreck next item on menu.... If you don't care going to a noisy bar or restaurant or paying more for nasty fast food at the big chains and want a meal to take home and enjoy.... ADAMS MARTS the place Was pleasantly surprised... Got a fish fry last night and was considerably better than all of the ones available in area and several dollars less. Looking forward to trying more of the items on there menu. The staff was friendly and helpful also... Highly recommend
Kaylena Marie's Bakery of Orchard Park
I go in early and buy the day old cookies. Luckily for me, the bourgeois OP clientele won't touch them so they are 50% off. Joke's on them because they still taste amazing. High quality baked goods/pastries. Highly recommend.
Quality definitely going down last couple years! I had at least 2-3 ice latte $7 looked like ice milk!!??? I just had to post this one and never go back again! Terrible ….
Chang's Garden Inc
Without a doubt one of the best Chinese spots in the Southtowns. Large generous portions of everything. Best eaten hot and fresh in their dining room, if possible. They use fresh and quality ingredients and have nice specials. They are pretty quick and everything comes out hot and fast. We just ordered their big juicy dumplings pork friend dumplings, egg rolls, crispy beef, fried rice and beef and shrimp platter. Tons of food. All was delicious. We stuffed ourselves and had an entire extra meal each. The one thing that’s kind of annoying is that you can’t have fried rice with a dinner. You are not even allowed to pay an up charge for it. You have to order it by itself. Not the end of the world, and I always end up doing it but it’s like paying for an extra meal every time we go. I find Chinese a little pricey in this area. A pro tip is to order a few lunch specials and save them for dinner. Make your own buffet. They do include fried rice with their lunches.
We received a recommendation to try Changs, and it was well worth it coming in. The food was fresh and delicious, and I recommend the hot n sour soup, eggrolls, and Udon dishes.
Dao Sushi & Grill
We've come here a couple times now and love it. We like that they provide a hibachi option without having to sit at the hibachi table. One thing they could work on is bringing all the food out at the same time, not sure if this is because of the hibachi, but it was a little awkward for our table when everyone got their food at different times. Overall we like coming here and the food is good
After reading many Google reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. The food was delicious, portions are good size, wait staff are friendly and helped increase the experience with suggestions on the meal. The yum- yum sauce on chicken fried rice was heavenly. The chicken bento box is full of tasty treats. The prices are very nice. We will be back.
Duff's Famous Wings
We waited for 45 mins for a table, which is understandable it was busy and after a Bills game. We ordered our food and it took over 50 mins to get our food. We ordered 40 wings, (10 bbq and 30 mild). The food came to our table and the mild wings had no sauce. They were plain wings. The waitress told us that there was a buttery sauce on them but all we saw was the cooking grease on the bottom of the bowl (see picture). The BBQ ones were decent. The fries were cold, we sent them back and the they replaced them with fresh ones which were good. My sons chicken fingers were mostly breaded crust, very little chicken and dry inside. The waitress never came to check on us once, and left all our dirty plates and napkins on our small table (there was 6 of us). She never came by for more napkins or see if we needed anything. It was busy, but not that busy, and if they are short staffed, that is not our issue especially when we are paying good money for food. I then waited 20mins for our bill. Conclusion…. I would not recommend this place at all. It’s ok at best and the service is terrible. There are way better wing places in Buffalo.
Wings sauce was excellent. The wings themselves were extremely overcooked. Couldn't pull the flats apart by hand.
