If you order ahead they usually have it ready within 5 to 10 minutes so they're pretty quick and I just do take out and the food is really good 😊 especially for the price & the portion you get, General Tso's Combination platter is my favorite 😁

We have ordered take out twice. The food is absolutely delicious.Prepared excellent! Excellent flavor! The shrimp rolls are the best we have ever had! I only gave 3 starts on service, not because of time or packaging, just the lady is not very friendly, but she makes amazing food

Excellent food, QUICK service and extremely friendly 🙂 BTW, below is the Breaded Jumbo Scallops & Lo-Mein, from the Chinese/American menu at the top of their website. I've had dozens of different food choices from here over the 20+ years I've been eating here, and I've NEVER had anything even remotely considered bad or NOT delicious. My absolute FAVORITE dish is the Seafood Lo-Mein. It comes with copies amounts of the best shrimp you'll ever taste, baby unbreaded scallops AND a plethora of crab meat. It's literally enough to make 3 GIGANTIC bowls of food, and therefore feed me for 3 straight days. Add in about 6-8 packets of JUST the Duck Sauce, and I'm beyond a happy customer 😜👽👻😋🤤

Dumplings were absolutely awful. No flavor. No meat/vegetables. Worst dumplings I have ever consumed. Grocery store frozen dumplings are so much better. The male individual who waited on me was extremely disrespectful. I don't understand the reason behind his behavior. I always said "sir" throughout our conversation. I gave him a $5 tip for just ordering egg rolls and dumplings and he didn't even thank me. Egg Rolls were good.

I ordered a takeout dish which was fine, not the best but fine. However, what compelled me to write this review is the fact that the free egg roll had pork in it. I double checked their menu on DoorDash and even there it was mentioned as a pure vegetarian dish. I am like many others in the reviews still recovering from this. I just wanted to go support a local business and it turned out to be a horrible experience.

I’m just now recovering from this place. Ordered take out four days ago and haven’t stopped having diarrhea. Not just any diarrhea, but blow out, almost have an accident type of diarrhea. This place will make a grown man shit himself. Awful experience and will never go back….. you’ve been warned.

Absolutely! Here's a polished and natural version of your review with a warm, positive tone and the requested edits: --- I'm from Austin and my sister lives in Houston, so we meet up for lunch now and then at a spot in between—and this Chinese buffet has become one of our favorites. They offer a wide variety of all the classics you’d hope to see, and everything we've tried has been fresh and flavorful. The selection is impressive, and there's always something new to try alongside familiar favorites. It’s also very fairly priced, which makes it an even better lunch stop. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. We always leave full and happy—highly recommended! --- Want help drafting a review for a specific platform or saving it for your next visit?

Look, I'm not at all the picky type, I can eat most things with no complaints, but I mean it wholeheartedly when I say this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Service was quick, food was well stocked, but it was just nasty, absolutely nothing in that godforsaken building tasted good, even the things that you think would be a given like rice noodles or beef and broccoli, hell, even the mushrooms tasted bad. The people weren't mean, place seemed sketchy but it wasn't the worst interior, but it was just plain old bad food, if you're looking for enjoyable food I'd look anywhere else

I used to love this place, but admittedly had not been here for 8-10 years. Tonight we ordered $60 of carryout for 2 people. We threw all of it out after a few bites. Main courses were Szechuan chicken in garlic sauce and Hunan Chicken. On the menu both were shown as spicy. Neither one was spicy. But that’s not the worst part. Actually they were flavorless. I was quite in a mood for Chinese tonight, and talked my wife into going along with it, but without a doubt, both of these dishes, disappointed hugely. I also ordered the barbecue ribs. I’ve cooked a lot of pork and I know when I’m being served leftovers. These ribs had the taste of refrigerator age upon them, despite the attempt to cover up with a lot of sauce. They were dry as they possibly could be, evidence they had been reheated a few times. I ordered one of my favorites of all time: shrimp toast. It was soggy and soaked in grease. Now I’m going to admit to you that I like the flavor of the oil that the toast is deep fried in. But this was ridiculous, each piece of shrimp toast was soggy, undercooked, and not anything resembling the crispness that is so delicious with shrimp toast. This was a hard review to write, being that it is a place. I enjoyed so much in the past. I’ve had many good dinners here with good friends, and additionally, there was a server here for a long time who was a joy to have wait on you. She knew you the instant you walked in the door, and she commented Openly and without hesitation about how much you needed to eat, what portions were correct for you, and what you would like or enjoy. She also offered items from the kitchen that somehow needed to be consumed by someone, and she thought you would just be the perfect person to help the kitchen out by taking advantage of something that had misfired. I miss that place. I hope it comes back to that level. It’s going to take me a while to recover from the experience I had today. One additional thing: the delivery was perfect and very timeful. I enjoyed meeting the driver and his young assistant, and they lingered on the porch for a while as we conversed about the gorgeous evening we had.

We love their food. I've been going here since we moved in the area. Always a great experience.

Experience the magic of truly delicious food! Every bite is bursting with flavor, made with love, and guaranteed to satisfy your cravings. Come and taste greatness—your taste buds will thank you!

There are many Chinese carryout restaurants, but Hong Kong Express in Hagerstown has a welcoming atmosphere to it. It's more of a fast casual Chinese restaurant. It has plenty of tables and seats for you to dine in. The wood dining furnitures are comfortable and of quality. It sets the tone for welcoming and comfort. The food is excellent!!! Full of flavors!!! The food servings are big!!! The price can't be beat!!! I was in Hagerstown on business, and just found my new favorite Chinese restaurant!!! I recommend the Hunan Triple Delight!!!

I'm a delivery driver and stop here to get their egg rolls. It's a perfect snack and they taste amazing. They are easily the best egg rolls I've ever had. While I have yet to try their other food, I'm positive it will be just as amazing. I highly recommend coming here. Plus the staff are super kind

If I could give this place more stars I totally would! This place is amazing and the food is even better. There was this small boy who took my order and he did an amazing job taking my order. I am so grateful they were open on Christmas as me and my husband can’t cook. And even though it took a little it was worth the wait! The chicken from the chicken and broccoli was amazing and super crunchy. This place is really amazing and even though they don’t have dine in anymore they are still worth the hype!

5MAR.2025 Only one main entrance door open and in the lobby area, one enter door and the other side is exit. This spot is closed on Monday’s (F.Y.I) Large beef lo mein extra veggies 🥕🥦packed and delicious. There was a great deal of beef 🥩 in there. The spring rolls are a bit smaller from other Asian/Chinese spring rolls I’ve eaten, still good anyway. Pipping hot and delicious. Ok music playing, area is clean and spacious..booths and some tables. Buffet style eating and takeout as well. The goldfish tank is very clean. The service is nice and pleasant.

Place was empty, some food on the buffet needed refreshed from sitting. Food that I did have was very good. Slow to get your refills and take plates away. $10 dinner buffet not bad price for what was available.

really inconsistent food. Ordered fairly regularly and its a 50/50 chance whether the food will be good or not. Called the restaurant and basically told it is what it is. Just wont go back. Poor quality and even worse service. I always believe in giving the restaurant a chance to at least hear out the complaint so the next time it will be better, not the case here, was told to try different restaurant.

I stopped at this place because it’s close to My Job and I had a taste for chicken and cashew nuts when I got back to my workplace to sit down and eat my food I was in pure discussed. I asked him what was this I could not even recognize the little square faintly green pieces of vegetable that was in there, and the cashew nuts were shriveled up. It looks like they were about 10 years old that they had dehydrated them and asked her what kind of vegetables they were. They were broccoli stems so when I looked up, I seen dust hanging from the picture sign and I looked back in the back, so how badly their kitchen was being kept also the area the restaurant was disgusting. The children were laying around boxes pulled up from here to there. The storefront windows were filthy. I think I’m gonna call the health department. meanwhile when I got off work, I decided to still get my cashew nut and chicken fix so I went to silk Thai and the food was amazing. So if you are looking for a taste from the Orient stop out to silk Thai located on Wesel Boulevard. You will not be disappointed

I gave this chinese restaurant a try today and was pretty impressed by the overall product. They have an order online option so I went ahead and did that and it was very easy to pick up. Prices were fair for their lunch items and they also included an egg roll. The pork egg roll was one of the best I have had, ton of flavor! The general tso's chicken was good as well and the broccoli was steamed which was a plus. All around good location if you are in the mood for some chinese

First time ordering from here and I will definitely be back! I placed an order online for pick up and was impressed with how fair priced my food was and how easy the website was to navigate. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was immediately welcomed. The pick up process was simple and the food was hot and ready to go. I ordered chicken lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and a pork egg roll. All the food was excellent but the egg roll might be the best I’ve ever had!

Fair experience. Food is good tasting. Fair service experience. Has a clean bathroom. Probably 7 tables to dine in. No high chair. Accepts credit/debit card. Looks like a family run establishment. Street parking only

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place was so bad, I’m considering therapy just to process the experience. The crab rangoon? More like crab ran-wrong. It tasted like regret stuffed into a wonton and deep-fried just enough to be offensively soggy. The lo mein? Absolutely drowned in some mysterious sauce that was so overpowering, I’m convinced it was their attempt to cover up the taste of despair. They gave us this…thing. I think it was supposed to be fried toast, but it felt like someone buttered up a sponge and threw it in the fryer for laughs. The only thing they seemed excited about was handing out extra sauce, almost like they knew it was the only semi-safe thing on the menu. I will be eternally grateful if I don’t get food poisoning. Avoid at all costs—unless you’re into edible disappointment.
