kobe hibachi sushi asian cuisine
Had a wonderful time the other day. With a large group of 21, they made a large 2 grill table table top for us to all sit at. Our waiter was phenomenal, I think his name was William. We had to wait a little for the table to be set, but that wasn't an issue for us. The chefs were entertaining and very skilled. All the food was top notch. They had no issues running us all several checks to split. Will def be returning!
Everything was great and the hibachi show was fun, exciting and the saki is always good. The portions are generous and you know no matter what you order it’s going to be solid. To Management - I do suggest hiding the cleaning supplies from plain view. It doesn’t set off a good vibe which is the only reason why I give 4 stars, plus there was an automatic 15% service fee added to the bill.
Chili's Grill & Bar
Great spot to stop for a light fare late in the evening vs a diner. Excellent margaritas & tap beer choices were good. Out bartender was great, attentive & friendly making us want to return again.
I had a wonderful experience with Tania tonight, excellent service. My drinks and food were ready on time and she was always very attentive and helpful with us. I highly recommend the Ancho Salmon from chili's, I loved it, I will be back soon
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
Customer service was awful. Food was terrible. They gave 4 shavings of steak and charged 15 dollars for what looked like leftover noodles and rice when all I ordered was lo mein. Calling about it was met with a hysteric woman screaming at me. Go somewhere else for so many reason
I've been ordering from Great Wall for a long time, they're the best when it comes to taste and bang for your buck. They deliver pretty quickly, tho I am only 3 miles from them.
Chinatown
Came here for takeout for our Christmas Eve tradition because I recently got a gluten-free diagnosis. They can make a ton of the menu gluten free, you just have to ask but they were really nice showing us what the options were and answering all my questions. It seemed like any of the chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables they could make with a gluten free version of the sauce, plus fried rice and chow mei fun. We got: General Tso’s chicken Hunan bean curd with vegetables Chicken and eggplant Chow mei fun Singapore noodles And brown rice! They marked everything for us and had it ready in 15 minutes. It tasted great and I feel great too! There are some tables in case you want to eat there, but it’s primarily a take out spot.
Do not order online. They charge you delivery fee, service fee ( these fees are detailed) however when you pay with credit card it says one price but when the food and print out come to your home they charge you more than what’s stated online.
KING BUFFET
The platonic ideal of a Chinese buffet. Great variety of items. A lot of seafood. $20 for dinner here was a great value.
My cousin and I went here for Christmas dinner. It was fabulous! The food choices were abundant. Fresh and tasty. My favorites were the coconut shrimp and the salmon. All kinds of deliciousness. It was busy for being Christmas day. Great value at $19.99 for all day dinner special. Staff was so friendly and efficient. I will absolutely dine here again!
Ginger Chinese Restaurant
The vegetarian options are really good; the boneless ribs are decent; but I didn’t care for the shrimp & broccoli. Best part: it’s the closest to the Holiday Inn so it’ll do. Prices are very reasonable and service is efficient. I would go back if I’m in the area again.
Ginger Chinese takeout, on Rt 9, just north of the Spackenkill road exits has been a staple at that location for maybe 15 years. It is consistently a great answer to not cooking and enjoying a steaming plate of your favorite dish, which we normally would not cook ourselves. I tend to be a little boring with my chicken and broccoli, but lately I’ve added extra broccoli and mixed vegetables, and it is delicious every time. Some of my extras might be their spare ribs, also tasty, and sometimes fried dumplings, extra crispy, again very tasty. Their won ton soup is also much better than most. A few years ago the business changed hands, and I have to say the new owners are constantly improving the place, it’s clearly evident if you’ve been a long time customer, and these changes are all for the better. They’ve added an exotic fish tank to the ambiance which is a welcome change to stare at instead of your phone while you wait for your food. Dinner last night was great ! I’ll be back.
China Max
Though derided as "food court Americanized Chinese," I've always liked China Max's combination of spicy chicken & vegetables over fried rice. Many flavors rolled into one clamshell! Their soups are also welcome when desiring lighter fare.
really happy with the portion i got for just over $10 I had the bbq pork, noodles and green beans all pretty good, the green beans were excellent. Mall food court is not my usual thing, but from this kiosk the service was great, definitely a value for my money.
Tokyo Express
Not gonna lie, the Chicken Teriyaki food court sample guy got me. I like it because it's lightly savory, not cloyingly sweet & soy saucy like typical "teriyaki" dips & marinades.
I feel cheated. They gave me a sweet and sour chicken to try and when I ordered (to go) because obviously they ask you, very clever, I suppose that when someone orders to go, they take the opportunity to give the customer an old and tough chicken, they gave me a Disgusting chicken that was NOTHING like the one they gave me to try, it was very disappointing. I will never again buy there.
Bonsai 2
It was a last minute dinner plan for the gathering with another family. Once we told the owner we had party of 9, she firmly told us we had to make reservations next time. They took 30 second to push the tables together. I guess we screwed up her time. SO IF YOU HAVE LARGE PARTY THAT REQUIRE THEM TO PUSH THE TABLES TOGETHER WITHOUT RESERVATIONS, BETTER GO ANOTHER TIME. The waitress were so attentive, there were 2 missing rolls and the 2 waitress came to our tables and count the orders. They were able to find out which orders were missing. SO PLEASE CHECK your orders if your ordered a lot. We have about 20 rolls Ordered. Read the past review that some customers have issues on the tips, we are lucky that we don’t have this issue at all. They already added to the bill, which is the subtotal of food and drink + sales tax, then tips. Which is different than American restaurant that tips not included in sales tax. Also, they speak mandarin and cantonese among themselves and the chefs. So there is a great plus to communicate with them if you know those Chinese languages.
Best sushi I've eaten, hands down! It was so fresh and so delicious. Highly recommend. The lunch specials are such a great deal. My husband and I got 3 appetizers and 2 lunch specials and spent less than $60!
Tamarind
This is a hidden gem! I hope and pray for this restaurant to flourish! We had a server by the name of Vijay I believe. He was an angel- the best customer service. We felt at home. The food was excellent, the ambience was great. I came all the way from Yonkers, and I would 100% come here again!!!!!
The food we ordered was very good, with great flavors and fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. However, the desserts were a bit underwhelming and could definitely be improved. Despite that, the service was amazing—attentive and friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience overall."
Crew Restaurant & Bar
I was at this restaurant some time ago after it initially opened. It is just as good if not better than the first time I was there. The food is exceptional as well as the service. I enjoyed the fact that salt and pepper were not at the table thereby allowing the food to be enjoyed/tasted the way it was meant to be from the chef. Keep up the great work and wishing you many more years of success.
Food is excellent but a bit too expensive for what it is. Portion size also on the smaller side. Service is good but fountain drinks tastes like cleaning fluid. Decor is a bit dated and quite lively in the bar area.
Bonsai
Small little sushi spot that has great specials! 3 rolls with soup and salad for $13 I s solid deal. Service was great and all our rolls came out super quick!
This is our go to place for sushi in the area. The service is fast and the food is always fresh. We love the salmon avocado, shrimp tempura roll and spicy salmon avocado sushi. But everything is always super delicious …. the outdoor seating area is perfect on a beautiful day and you can bring your dog along ….. they are super pet friendly. You will be very pleased to see how much love they will show towards your four legged creature.
