If I am in the Fishkill Plains area this is the Chinese Restaurant of choice for me. Tonight I enjoyed the General Tso chicken combo and a shrimp roll. The sauce was perfect. Does not make you feel too full and is perfect for a quick, tasty lunch or dinner. Very easy to place a telephone order and my food was ready and hot when I arrived. Thank you very much for a great quick dinner on the go. I will be back.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in Dutchess county. Chicken and broccoli was very good, the lo mein was very good. The dumpling were ok. Will be back.

They used to be really great until about three months ago, then something happened. The Sushi deluxe selections are now as lame as grocery store sushi and you need to order a la carte if you actually want variety. We ordered Chinese takeout last night and all our food was 'closest to' what we actually ordered, or totally off. And not great. When ordering pick up, they used to text when ready. Not anymore. Will start looking elsewhere.

Sashimi was delicious! I had to wait longer because it was busy. They gave me some money back, which was very nice of them.

The staffs were nice and very friendly. However, the menus were a stacked of paper and so dirty, with food stains and leftover rice in it. I hope they have a better presentation of the menu soon. If you order sushi rolls or sushi entree and you want your personal plate with the sushi you ordered, you may need to tell the waiter or chef to place it separately per order. Because they put everything on a large plate. It is not convenient at all. It may not be a good idea to have a business dinner. We ended up just ask for an extra plate to separate by ourselves.

Let me just start this review by saying the 3 star review has nothing to do with the food. Had I ordered for take out, I probably would have given Izumi 5 stars. We ordered steak and shrimp, and kids steak meals, was asked if we wanted noodles with our order and we all said yes. The chef came and cooked our meal, the chef put on a good show and the food was great. Steaks and shrimps were soft and perfectly cooked, the rice was flavorful, the vegetables were good, as were the noodles. After the meal, we receive the bill and found out each of us who got noodles were charged 5 dollars per meal for noodles. Not a big deal, but wasn’t communicated to us at all. I then give; who I believe was the owner, my credit card to pay for the meal and she took it upon herself to add a $39.99 tip. The tip was a justifiable amount for the bill however, I did not appreciate them adding a tip to my bill without saying anything. If gratuity is included with the bill, that’s completely different, however, she just decided upon herself to tip this amount and add it to my card. I probably won’t be going back and that’s a real shame because the food as I said was great.

My siblings and I loved this place in Hopewell and the owners were super sweet! Just be aware that they did close, and now I think they might be under “Last Chance Bar and Restaurant”.

Clean, affordable, & welcoming environment. The food is to die for. From the soup to the baklava and everything in between. I have yet to try something and not like it. This is a must try spot!! I would highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try !!

Just a nice place, makes you feel like you are in Cheers. Great hostess bar owner was very nice as was his wife. Appetizers were very nice the cheese platter was very good. We shared some sandwiches and kids menu for Mac n cheese Great prices and the weather was perfect the door was open a nice breeze. Stop by it’s a nice place and easy on the wallet.

We decided to stop by with my husband to grab a quick bite after our trip to the Urgent care. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was!! We both had gyros with Greek fries and it was amazing! We'll be back for sure especially for Rocky 😉

Yum!! So far my fave Chinese food spot in the area! Food was fresh, portions plenty and prices were nice! Combo plates were stuffed to the top! Wonton soup was delicious-wonton was perfect consistency and brother was tasty. Ribs were tender and flavorful. Egg roll wasn’t my favorite but I’d say that it was more a personal preference thing. It was cooked well and others in my party loved it. Will be my new go to spot!

The girl on the phone was very unprofessional and still messed up my order after I gave her the order twice and she read it back. Then when I went to the store to pick up my order she was scratching her head and had her hair blowing all over. I advised her that she needed a hair net then she told me, “No one’s never had an issue with it before and I can go elsewhere.” Very rude her parents raised a monster.
