Marcus Guiliano
I have to say that Marcus is an amazing restaurant coach and consultant. I have read his books and knew he had a lot of knowledge to offer, but I was still blown away by our one-on-one session. I contacted him to help me with my drone aerial business in the Hudson Valley, and his insights into business marketing were invaluable. During our hour-long session, Marcus shared so many useful tips and strategies that I never would have thought of on my own. He has an amazing ability to break down complex concepts into simple, actionable steps. I left our session feeling confident and excited about implementing his ideas into my business. I would recommend Marcus to anyone looking for expert advice on business and marketing. He truly is a wealth of knowledge and has the experience and expertise to help businesses of all sizes and types. Thank you, Marcus, for your invaluable insights and guidance. You have made a real difference in my business!
Marcus is a wealth of information for businesses and the restaurant industry, especially in the areas of client attraction and retention, and increasing sales and net profit. Marcus really keeps me accountable in my goal setting, and always has great suggestions that I can put into action right away. I love that he is true to his values, he is a prime example that one doesn't need to compromise their ethics to be successful in business!
Tosco's Pizzeria
Best pizza in the area and I travel all over for work. Would be a great in house restaurant if more people knew about it. Could use a salad bar and a pinball machine 🤔
Food is always excellent, never had a problem with them. Always on time with my food. Thank you 😊
New Paltz Indian Restaurant
I visited here based on a recommendation with my wife and two friends. We arrived around 4pm on a Wednesday and there were plenty of available tables. We were seated immediately and greeted by warm and friendly staff. We took some recommendations from the staff as well as ordered some food to try out. Appetizers were absolutely delicious and we all were able to sample each a little so it was a very good sized portion for all of us to enjoy. We all ordered separate entrees but the star of the show was definitely their signature dish CHICKEN CURRY…it was amazing to say the least. Everything we ordered came to the table at the proper time and was cooked very well. Each dish was shared by all and we had smiles all around as we tried the different dishes. They do have some extremely good beverages. I wanted to try the mango juice and I ended up having a second because it was delicious! Our visit there was nothing short of fantastic and you can easily see this is a family owned restaurant with the father in the kitchen, the mom greeting and inviting in the dining room and there son wearing whatever hat is necessary at the moment. I am certainly going back to visit them again and would stand by a recommendation to visit and try this New Paltz Indian Restaurant for good food, warm and friendly atmosphere and service that altogether will not break the bank. This is a restaurant that is underrated and the food speaks for itself!
it's a soulless cafeteria inside and the service can be slow but the food doesn't disappoint. more BIR than authentic India but that's ok - i would bring my family from the UK here and they would be happy. great lamb saag! $10-20 per person is a joke of course, 2 entrees, a nan, a chai tea, tax and tip will set you back more than $60, so think $30-50.
P&G’s
The food was pretty decent, but the waitress was far from welcoming, which made me not want to stay. I never had a waitress interrupt me while I was eating to take the salt and pepper away, and not bring it back.... Seemed like she was In a rush to get my friend and I out, even though they didn't close for another hour.... We were never even asked once how the food was, along with the only time we were asked if we needed anything else was when she brought out the check. Needless to say I never want to go there again.
All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had French onion soup and their pretzel appetizer to warm up from the rainy day. It was just perfect.
M & C JAMAICAN CUISINE
Curry goat and sweet plantain were delicious. The staff was very friendly. Affordable food prices
Ate at M&C for the first time. I'm staying over in Huegenot, NY. Googled carribean food and they were the first ones that came up. I drove about 40mns. I ordered jerk chicken, cabbage, rice/peas, macaroni, and cheese, and 2 beef patties. It was all hot and fresh. It craved my taste.
Momiji Sushi & Grill
Absolutely delicious food and hot sake, and a huge bonus that it's close to home! The spider roll and shrimp lover's roll (mine) were fantastic! My boyfriend got the hibachi combo with shrimp (I had a couple of bites and loved it) and scallops and the eel roll combo and said they were delicious too. The miso soup starter was tasty as well. It's a small place, it was comfortable, well lit and quiet on a Monday evening. We'll definitely be visiting again.
The quality of the fish here is superb! And the ginger dressing is fantastic! Reasonable prices and the service was good. The dining room is small, maybe 8 tables and the sushi bar. The food was served on attractive dishes, but the decor, and the prefab tables and chairs, give the room a dated and cold feel. Still, for fish of this quality, I'm happy to overlook that!
The Bakery
The food is good, but the staff makes it so unwelcoming to enter and order. They’re extremely slow always making me late to wherever I need to go. The point of a take out bakery is the quick and effective process of getting food, not standing there for 15 minutes before someone even notices you. The workers lack the ability to multi task or greet customers. Horrible the way I was treated and disregarded, this place needs to focus more on kindness and an appropriate work ethic NOT decorating, walking around ignoring customers and talking with their coworkers/friends.
The food at this bakery might be good, but the customer experience left a lot to be desired. I waited over 40 minutes just to buy a pie that was already sitting in the refrigerator, ready to go. When I asked if I could simply pay for it, I was told I had to wait in line behind over 12 people ordering breakfast and coffee, which needed to be prepared first. While the staff seemed overwhelmed and could have used more help, the lack of a system to handle quick purchases was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this bakery, as the negative overall experience far overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the food.
Truss and Trestle
Amazing. Delicious. I'm excited to come back for lunch one day! Breakfast was great. This aptly named establishment has inside, outside, and bar seating- all with a railroad theme. Fitting for its location where an old trestle runs above the town. The prices here are incredibly reasonable for what you get. It was too early for me to drink but the prices of the cocktails had me considering. I used to love the old 32 lunch that was here with its classic diner vibe.. I will say this is a totally different atmosphere- but with the cheerful friendly service you expect from a local diner! With all these new bougie places popping up in the county- it's nice to see one that offers prices for everyone to enjoy.
Incredible atmosphere and warm diner in a really pretty part of upstate NY. Had the best home-smoked pastrami Reuben in my recent memory. Service was great and welcoming. Cannot recommend enough and will be back to try the rest of the menu that looked delicious.
Yasuda
The sushi here is always delicious, and the service is always exceptional. The servers are so attentive, quick and make you feel at home. It is a great feeling when you get a beautiful plate of sushi brought by someone who feels like a friend.
Yasuda is such a gem. The food is excellent, the prices fair, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and courteous. I often come for the lunch special, I love the shrimp and vegetable tempura. Their sushi is also recommended
440 Pizzeria
440 knocked it out of the park again with their quintessential NY pie. I immediately seek out this place as soon as I arrive from TN to visit my family because I know they will have exactly that pizza I wish I could find at home. Staff always treats us as family and cooks their food with pride. Keep it up guys.
Absolutely horrible. Oil filled my box of wings. Garlic Parm wings didn’t have any flavor. Just oil, lots of oil.
Tokyo Sushi
Personally wasn’t my favorite place. My boyfriend thought they were decent and prices were good. Service was okay overall. Things just seemed over cooked or spicy. I feel everyone should try for themselves but I could recommend definitely better places just further away.
Food are just okay. The sauce of the salad is so weird and the miso soup is really salty. Sushi was okay. The udon noodle soup tastes good! It wasn’t that crowded when we were there.
Creekside Bar & Bistro
Wonderful, beautiful place. A little on the pricy side for the quality of food. But still wonderful.
Ok.. so I never do this.. but this place needs an update..some fresh paint..outside was not pleasant unless you faced the9 best
