Tao's Bao
It was soooo good! I tried their pig feet noodle and spicy&sour fatty beef rice noodle soup. It was all so delicious! It was spicy but I already knew it would be spicy so it was fine and it was still so tasty. I really want to come back for different dishes they have! They are so friendly and nice too. It’s a great place!💖😋
Tao's Bao is a hidden gem! The food here is absolutely incredible – every bite bursts with authentic Chinese flavors that you wouldn't expect to find outside of the city. The freshness of the ingredients truly stands out, and it’s clear the chefs take great pride in their craft. The service was just as impressive – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I can confidently say I've found a new favorite spot. If you're craving top-quality Chinese cuisine, Tao's Bao is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back frequently!
Food King Chinese Kitchen
Most Definitely the worst pork fried rice I have ever eaten. Zero taste and no pork at all. Major disappointment. Won't go back.
Can you please just put utensils in delivery orders or ask if needed?! I keep ordering and forgetting that I need to ask and being left with food and no way to eat it!! It’s frustrating! Just put them in the bag!
Splendid Noodle
Food is absolutely amazingly delicious and truly authentic. The hand-pulled noodles are very fresh and the broth it’s served in is aromatic and well seasoned. If I didn’t live in Nassau county, I would be eating there more frequently. My boys have tournaments in Stony Brook and we either eat there or get take-out every time we are in the area. The chefs and the waiter were very friendly and treated you like family. It’s one of my favorite small eats places to go to. Better than all the other ramen places. Highly recommend it!
Ordered take out. I had duck with extra large side of meat. Mostly bones and they forgot my extra side. Otherwise seemed like nice people and food was good.
1089 Noodle House
The food here is very good though the ambience is very basic. The food is authentic and this appears to attract a large Asian and Asian American clientele. It reminds me of Chinese food found in Queens in terms of quality and atmosphere. I’m glad to find such a place here.
Delicious food, affordable pricing, and kind service.
Imperial Orchid
Chinatown comes to Long Island... Yep this could be the closest you'll get to an authentic Chinatown meal without trucking into the city! Take out has been good to us, the General Tso's chicken is the best I've had in or out of the city, nice tender chunks of white meat chicken with peppers, some hot red szechuan mixed in, and a spicy tangy sauce, just so good, we choose this everytime! All the usual dishes you'd expect too, like Egg Foo Young, Chicken and Broccoli, etc. All so good as is their B-B-Q Spare Rib and shrimp toast. We will be back to get the Peking Duck, another NYC favorite, so we'll let you know how it is, stand by. Oh, the Thai fried rice is awesome, pineapple pieces, cashews, so delish! Lots of other Thai specialties too. Save trip take out here. Or, even eat in their nice dining room.
This was our first time here and I am so happy we tried it. The interior was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We stopped in about 6:15 on a Saturday night and it was starting to fill up. We went there for Chinese but I had no idea they had Sushi & Thai as well. I am very picky about Chinese food and really only stick to few dishes that I like. We went with our old stand by.. Chicken & String beans (the husband's dish) & I got Shrimp Mei Fun. As you will see from the photos of the meals, they did not skimp on the servings. They were by far absolutely delicious and one of the best for probably very simple dishes. The food actually had a taste, not like some other places that's just oily and tastes like a burnt wok. The food came out hot, fast and fresh. We definitely will be back again and give the Sushi or Thai a try. ( Which BTW others around us ordered and seemed to enjoy)
Feng Yi Chinese Restaurant
Ok there are mixed review here. I have to drive past 5 similar stores to attend here and I do because the food quality is the best in the area for our "traditional Chinese takeout " i highly enjoy. The service always polite but my last few visits 1 of my orders slightly incorrect so make sure to clearly repeat your order . The other bummer is it's a cash only which for me personally is inconvenient and reduces my attendance. Why do I still attend ? Everything is prepared fresh and good ingredients ❤️ and the place is always very clean and spotless !
Order beef and broccoli and as you can see in the picture there was chicken bones on a beef and broccoli. So disgusted.
Golden Star
Omg! The rib tips are out of this world! Run don't walk to order them! I drive from Nassau County for them! That's how fantastic they are! This restaurant really is the best on Long Island in my opinion!
I eat here all the time. Great Chinese food. Other half of the restaurant has pretty decent sushi. Not suspicious or anything but maybe I didn't find anything too crazy I liked. None the less great place. Seating is accessible for smaller parties of 5 or less.
Peking Kitchen
I often order a steamed chicken n broccoli meal with (chicken) fried rice which comes with a pint of (chicken noodle or wonton) soup. They also grow their own string beans at home n offer them to change up my meal now n then. Nice folks. I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.
First time. Ordered chicken w broccoli and wonton soup. The chicken and broccoli was perfect and this is probably the best wonton soup I have ever had. Very happy with everything…..looking forward to trying more things. Great prices too.
Dah Lee Restaurant
I have to admit i enjoy the food but the poor customer service really makes me want to take my business else where. The man answering the phone is always so rude ive tried being nothing but nice but he is always rude ive been ordering here for almost 3 years and his attitude has only got worst. its unfortunate because its my families favorite we do big orders atleast once to twice a week love the food dah lee makes but the customer service has forced me to stay away i always tell them to take their time and if theres a better time to call ive done nothing but killed them with kindness and their attitudes have only got worst…
Food is really good.Like wow amazing. When my plate got to the table in 5 minutes it disappeared like magic.I highly recommend the vegetable steam dumplings. The orange chicken OmG it was delicious. The French fries let me tell you the picture ima put up will speak for itself.Thank you so much Brian for being our waiter.
Wild Rice
When we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted. It was nice to see a woman scrubbing down the booths with a bucket, and it just smelled clean. Me and my husband both ordered lunch combinations. My husband didn't want the egg roll and asked to substitute for a can of soda, and she wanted to charge him an additional $1.45. Odd because both were similar in price. We stayed in to eat. As our food arrived, a worker sat at the booth next to us and had this bizarre internal hacking cough the entire time. Not pleasant to listen to while we were eating. My husband had the Boneless Spare Ribs and enjoyed them very much. I was disappointed to see the fried rice was literally just that, fried rice with onions. No roast pork, no egg, nothing else. I had the beef and broccoli. The beef tasted boiled with the sauce mixed over it. Tender, but not great. The broth from the Wonton Soup was rich and excellent. The wontons (there were 2) didn't have a typical Meatball, and were more like a smear of meat with a lot of Noodle. We weren't even given Crispy wonton strips for the soup. Everything seemed to be the bare minimum in product. Overall experience, we've had better and we've had worse.
Finally found a good Chinese food place. Ordered twice both times great. Even pick up was easy and probably one of the cleanest places I seen inside
Hau Sing Kitchen
Took an hour to get the food had sweet and pungent chicken had the sweet on the side but no pungent insight, rise was flavorless, shredded beef was super spicy and not appetizing at all . wouldnt order there again.
This restaurant has amazing food and definitely worth the trip. These imported sodas are delicious.
Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant
I really wanted to like them. I got recommendations from FB I ordered General Tso chicken not even a whole floret just a couple of pieces of chicken tossed in sauce in my 8.75 order. Presentation was poor portion looked like somebody ate my food but I picked it up myself. The lady was so sweet but I just can't if this was what they present on a slow day.
Ordered delivery the other night. Was told 35mins for delivery and it took about 1hr 20mins. Every time I called the lady hung up on me saying “1 second! 1 second!” On the theID call I said I wanted my money back and she just kept repeating he's outside.. finally I get the food (at least it wasn’t cold) and the taste was not there. My expectations for Chinese food are low because it usually all tastes the same but this was beyond anything I’ve had! The triple delight Beef,Chicken,Shrimp only had 1 shrimp in it! 🤦♂️ I really don’t know where these positive reviews came from because the whole experience was atrocious! First and absolute last time ordering from their!
