Shing Fung House Chinese
This place is definitely one of the best if not THE best for Chinese food in Clifton Park. So fast at making the food too, you can order tons and they’ll be done with it in 10 minutes. Also their dedication to service is ridiculous. When we had the power outage for hours, they had head lamps on cooking food for people for cash. Amazing.
It was good food. Ordered for take out. They have seating in the restaurant if you want to eat there. Good was ready when I got there. A good choice for a meal to grab on the way home.
kcaffe Chinese food
I'm OVERJOYED to have a local place that sells mochi donuts! KCaffe currently has twelve mochinut flavors, I bought one of each to test them out and every one was fresh, soft and absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Rosé but they're all super good! Will definitely be back for more.
Great experience, amazing drinks and food. Picked up my order today and I must say I was very satisfied. My "watermelon bubble tea" with "kiwi popping" was incredibly delicious, and will be ordering this all spring and summer long. Food was great and the staff was AMAZING. Thank you for the great customer service today.
Eddy's Traditional Chinese Cooking
My 1st visit here for dinner with a friend was a couple of weeks ago. For some reason, I was expecting a sit-down restaurant, but this is primarily a take-out spot with a few tables available for dine in and one very kind gentleman running all of it. The atmosphere was inviting, and the space, including tables, was clean. The gentleman (owner, I am guessing?) handled multiple take-out orders while also making sure we had everything we needed, including beverage refills. Food is prepared quickly, and our items came out with little wait time. I am notoriously a picky eater, and I really enjoyed my experience here. The cucumber salad was delicious and came in a huge portion. My friend and I each ordered one and realized after they came out that we should have split one. We also ordered soup dumplings for an appetizer and these were also wonderful. Pillowy dumplings filled with pork and yummy broth. I ordered chow fun with beef. Typically, I choose tofu as my protein, but I wanted to branch out. The dish was excellent and the beef was good quality also. I would love to come back to try more menu items, including fried rice (one of my favorites). Highly recommend giving this place a try.
The tiniest shrimp I have ever seen from any restaurant ever. I think they’re like the smallest microscopic size and they’re only four of them in my entire Singapore mei fun. It cost $17.10 also which is way too much. I think it’s just mostly rice noodle. Very few vegetables. I would give it two stars, but the flavor of the dish was good. Nice and spicy. Overall, I definitely won’t be going back with other options in the area serving full grown shrimp.
Fortune Wok
Amazing ! Great food and service. My daughter and freinds were giving a big plate of fresh fruit for her birthday ! While eat lunch.
The food seems to get better every time we order. Customer service is great. When I have to order through a 3rd party delivery service I always have to call to make sure they leave something out I'm allergic to & the woman is very sweet & makes sure they get it right.
East Wok Chinese Restaurant
Good Americanized Chinese food. I've been coming here for over 10 years, on average about twice a month, and love their vegetarian food. Their Vegetarian Delight and Veggie Lo Mein are excellent, especially for the price. They also have vegetable egg rolls and fried dumplings, which makes this place a good stop for vegetarians. I can't comment on the meat dishes, other than that they look good. I've eaten in the restaurant a few times and it's clean and bright with several tables, but let's face it, most people are coming here for takeout.
Best Chinese food-to- go this side of town ! Try the Dragon and Phoenix (Chinese surf/turf) and the mai fun noodles :) Huge menu to choose from and all executed well with good servings !
Oriental
When I asked them what the difference was between Steamed Dumplings and Steamed Wontons, they were completely confused. One of their staff was a 'local' woman who had no language challenge. No worries 👍. One of the two came with sauce in the dish. Enough sauce to then use with the other. I was HUNGRY and wanted Chinese food. Mission accomplished.
i’ve found hair in my food twice from here now
Koi Modern Chinese Cuisine
My experience didn’t match the other reviews. Gave me the wrong dish and the main entree was bland and dry. I stopped in for takeout and ordered the pan-friend dumplings and the Spicy Shredded Beef.-extra spicy. The dumplings were quite nice —- light, tender skins with a tasty filling. Oddly, the dumpling sauce was not homemade. Rather it was just a small packet of commercial sauce that added nothing to the dumplings. I’d really been looking forward to trying the Spicy Beef but they screwed up the order and gave me Sesame Beef instead. This dish was completely dry and virtually tasteless. There was a hint of sesame in a pasty coating on the beef.
This place is recommended by multiple Chinese friends. They got peaceful live music. The food is fantastic and it’s real Chinese food. The braised pork belly is amazing, so smooth and you don’t taste much fat. Our family really enjoyed it!
China Cafe
This is my favorite place to grab lunch. The food is exactly what you’d expect out of fast food Chinese. Sub $10 for a two combo two side is such a great deal. The service is always great and the lady behind the counter is awesome. She remembers my order! Place is kept clean and there are many options. Getting a decent sized lunch for $10 these days is unheard of. Highly recommend the potatoes.
Freshly prepared food (you can see them coming straight from chef's window) decently priced (under $10) with large portions (satisfies my enormous post-workout appetite!) to keep you fed. This is the local go-to place for Chinese fast food. Anna, the lady who runs the front desk, is super nice and friendly. Service is fast and efficient. A heartening food stop!
Tai Pan
Whether it's takeout or dine-in, the experience is always gourmet. Dining in is a treat as you feel like you've stepped into another world. Such peace and calmness. The food always tastes like a gourmet chef tailored it just for you. Took all my allergies into consideration.
Never fails to give us a great meal. The lovely woman who serves the food is so very gracious and lovely . The food is excellent in this restaurant!!! If you're looking for reasonably priced, delicious Asian cuisine, try this place. They have been in business for 32 years and they certainly deserve support from our community. The atmosphere is relaxing and they do not rush you. What a wonderful change when most restaurants hurry you along . The folks at Tai Pan know the value of a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you!!!
Sunny Wok
If I could give negative stars I would, we ordered 2 combos online one general tso with veggie fried rice, and sesame chicken with white rice. We indeed did not get 2 combos we got, a large thing of sesame chicken side of white rice, and a combo that was also sesame chicken with white rice(tasted like straight peanut butter). When we called to see if we could get it correct they told us that what we said we got was correct and that they didn’t mess up, we also stated it tasted like straight peanut butter and they said that is normal? - never have I ever ordered sesame chicken anywhere else that tasted like peanut butter. We also got sweet and sour chicken and it was more like sweet and sour breading. There was little to no chicken in it. We live 20 mins away they won’t deliver to us and all I wanted was the correct meal and they refused to do so.
The food is nothing special. Their fried rice needs a revamp. I've eaten at numerous Chinese food places within the five boros of nyc, in some interesting areas to say the least, and they're was always better than Sunny Wok. Lunch specials have gone up in price while their portions are smaller. Do better!
Yum Yum Kitchen
Food was cold, dry and not good. When I did the math my total should’ve been $14 and some change. Didn’t get my receipt from the lady probably because she charged me $21 for chicken, one side and an egg roll. Now that I read reviews this seems to be a common issue. Would not recommend this place.
She over charged me It was 37 dollars on the register then when she tried my card it popped up saying it was 40 dollars she is over charging and taking extra money. I would never recommend this place ever!
Uncle Ming's Kitchen
Don’t understand all of the bad reviews. Been ordering from here for years. It is slightly greasy but the food is great. The chicken is always crispy unlike other Chinese restaurants. And the price can’t be beat. Love the general tsos chicken combo.
Uncle Mings is your classic american chinese restaurant. It’s not going to blow you away like a place in NYC or in China. It gets the job done and they’re very good at what they do while staying affordable with great portion sizes. Me and all my friends go here often and recommend it to all who crave some asian cuisine. Location is unbeaten as well.
