TLDR: we found our new regular Chinese takeout place near our hotel. This place deserves 4.75/5 rating, not 4.2. Not too overpriced. Very impressed. Roomy dining area, tables are very clean, floors are not sticky like the typical Chinese takeout place. Vegetable lo mein - 5/5. Right amount of sauce and veggies blanched right. Beef with garlic sauce - 5/5. Beef cooked perfectly, very tender. Right amount of portion of beef to veggie ratio. Picky kids devoured it. Curry chicken- 4.95/5. Great flavor, very spicy, has a slight bitter aftertaste. Chicken very tender, not overcooked or rubbery. Great chicken to onion ratio, a lot of chicken pieces. General Tso Chicken - 4.5/5. Great flavor but trade off with takeout, it’s going to be soggy since the steam continues to cook the food even though I’m 10 mins away. It was half soggy and half crispy. Huge portion of chicken, not too heavy on breading. One day, like to try a dine in to see how crispy this dish is.

I ordered from here last week and they had my food ready on time for pick up. Friendly staff and if you like hot and sour soup this is the place to go! I had their chicken and broccoli and it was also delicious.

I ordered the combination barbecue ribs plate, egg rolls, and fried bananas. The packaging was nice and neat they delivered to Hunts Point so super convenient and they brought it quick! The food was good and fresh perfect temperature, they added all types of sauces. Free soda can with over $18 order. 2 sodas with over $28 and 2 liter soda with over $38 it’s enough food for 2 people I believe since it’s 4 ribs sitting on fried pork rice. Or you can save some for later. I am.

Awesome food, orange chicken, hot sour soup. Egg roll. The broccoli was really fresh and crisp just cooked right . Never he fresh vegetables like that delivered from Chinese. First time in years that the chicken was actual chunks of chicken and not just breaded chunks of nothing with sauce. Egg rolls are like they used to be real good inside not slimy cabbage leftovers. Chunks of meat. The hot and sour soup all the vegetables taste crisp and fresh it’s good. awesome service. Straight to the point and fast. Delivers to hunts point meat and produce market if your stuck here working

The manager seems to think it's okay NOT TO stir the nasty, old food on the buffet, and yell at customers if they get the part of the meal they'd ACTUALLY enjoy and then talk behind the customers back to other members of the party without owning up to their Disrepect of those PAYING for their "food." Me and my friends are heading to PA for a trip and we were hungry, found this place on the way and had to stop and try it. By far the best food I’ve had in a long time the oxtail and fried plantains are so good and the owner is the sweetest and most inspirational person we’ve met. When you walk in and she greets you right away you feel welcomed with such a positive energy l. Telling us about her food how the recipe is family recipe and man o man this was definitely the best stop to have made .

This spot is fire tho ☺️ the food is so scrumptious 👌🏾 I’m not even talking about the way they will serve you, kind people, good food ! Thanks I enjoy it and I will be back soon .

Went to get take out quickly while visiting Staten Island for a quick bite. Garlic sauce chicken is aboustely delicious everything fairly priced will be back soon

Hands down best Chinese food I have ever had, plus they are extremely efficient and fast.

Wowwww!!! We ate there and they treated us like family. What a nice family and wonderful service. We ordered dirty beef sliders, spring rolls, super spicy green curry chicken, coconut soup and garlic chicken rice bowl. Amazing! All the dishes were top notch. It smelled great outside and inside and we were not disappointed. Definitely my new spot. Try it out and it will be yours too.

We’ve gone to like almost every Thai restaurant in the area AND in NYC AND in actual Thailand. This is one of the best. I actually no longer have to drive out to the city for good real Thai food because this place nailed it. The Khao soi, pad se ew and green curry’s are incredible and the appetizers too! Even the burgers LOL. We catered them for our party as well and our guests were raving about it! Also the people working there are so kind~ Thank you Tora!!

I stopped bywith my daughter this afternoon for lunch. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. My daughter was already asking when we can return before we even settled the check.

1st time here and definitely will go back to staff is so nice and friendly .The prices are very reasonable and get great portions.

I can’t believe how good the hot & sour soup is. They even add fresh scallions to the soup. It’s the best hot & sour soup ever! The orange chicken was rated 10 and it was kid approved. It was said to be the best Chinese orange chicken in town. They ran out of brown rice though.

Don't buy here their portion is unfair and not worth ur money I paid 13 for jumbo shrimp and French fries check the pic I was so upset

We hope to go again, we had low expectations but left pleasantly surprised. Now for my experience.... We were visiting near by and it was lunch time and we gave this restaurant a try. I am extremely judgemental and pessimistic when I am hangry...was not expecting to leave happy. Small restaurant, but they were very hospitable and we borrowed a chair from another table for our family of five. For lunch, most people were having their food delivered to them or grabbing it to go. I ordered horchata (my favorite drink) and water for everyone else. I was embarrassed when my kids wanted a Hamburger and chicken nuggets. Everything turned out to be delicious and our wait was short. They take pride in the food that they put before us and we enjoyed every bite. The sopes were my favorite! I have enjoyed La Hacienda del Don Mañuel (I butchered the spelling) up the street but we didn't have the time necessary for that experience.

The Short: This place is a true "hole in the wall" but if you want something authentic, family-owned, and most importantly DELICIOUS it is definitely worth a visit. The Long: Visiting NY from Florida and spent the day in the city. Came back to Sufferen via the train and we were HUNGRY. We sat down at one of the five tables and we're greeted by a friendly and lovely family who gave us chips and took our order immediately. We split a huarache and meat molcajete and both were delicious. The huarache was crispy on the bottom and chewy in the middle. The molcajete was HUGE, hot, and filled us both up. It came with warm steamy corn tortillas which were great for filling up with the meat and the many salsas provided. We ate and enjoyed every bite!

This place is A+. I’m shocked this place doesn’t have a higher rating but when I read the comments, it’s only bc of the lighting, which makes almost zero impact on how i choose restaurants. What this place does well is make excellent food, large portions and it’s extremely affordable considering how expensive food cost are today. Oh and the staff are extremely humble and kind, which is becoming rare at restaurants today. Highly recommend, can’t say enough great things and I’ll be coming back

I never goes wrong when it comes to chapli kebab. Most favorite among all type of kebabs. It’s somewhat difficult to find it as you go south. So, I had to try it. Very reasonably priced. Three big Patties, plentiful rice, side salad and sauces all for about 15 bucks. Taste was as I had expected. Very well seasoned and moderately spicy. Overall, I’ll return it in the area.
