Lucky Wok
The Singapore chow mei fun was very delicious, with affordable pricing and good service.
New neighborhood place. Our first time for takeout. The food was delicious, made to order and reasonably priced. The staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend it!
Dairy Palace
Very decent food! It's a bit overpriced and a little too long wait time, but it's a nice kosher place for when you're in the area and need a bite.
Great food, large portions and nice customer service.
Island Wok
My first time in Staten Island and my kids were in the mood for some Chinese food. I have one picky eater and one who’s pallet is wild like mine so this place was perfect! My picky eater approved. Food was fresh and light. This place is family friendly and felt like home. The food tasted fresh and not heavy on the stomach. It’s kosher and doesn’t contain MSG! Super tasty items on their menu we had the red dragon sushi roll and avocado roll the chicken fried dumplings egg rolls and house special fried rice. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place to Anyone.
Food was nasty they kept sneezing and sneezed in my food! This made me and my daughter leave because they refused to give a refund
China King
awful experience! Called and placed an order for delivery they told me 40 minutes, I gave them an extra 15-20 minutes because things happen and people get busy. I called and asked where my order was and the boy who answered the phone asked me what conversation I had with the coworker who took me order? Like what. I placed an order, gave her my CC info and my food still isn’t here. He then got the manager who said they needed another 10-15 minutes and if I can pick it up. Unprofessional. Awful. My order was never submitted. Change of ownership has ruined this restaurant I used to order from here all the time Now not worth the headache. Stay away. He didn’t even offer me anything to compensate this inconvenience of a situation instead placed me on hold several times because they have their heads in their butts.
I ordered over the phone went to pick it up and man was kinda rude when I asked for hot oil. Also told me it was $2 more just for tiny container which is crazy to me. Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I ordered pork fried rice and spare ribs. The rice portion was way too little, the rice had no taste and it was hard like as if it was old, barely and pork pieces in the rice as well. The ribs were only 3 not the usual 4-5 like other places. They were overcooked and barely had any meat on the bones. I wouldn’t recommend anyone ordering from here.
Happy Home Cuisine
Today and day before yesterday I went to this restaurant. They are making Asian food I think it’s Chinese. First day I did Oder beef noodles. It was amazing. And I ask chili oil. They gave me one it’s super amazing. That’s why I went today. Guy who working front it’s not helping. But he can mange the job. And he try to help. Today my lunch was pot cooking rice. We can choose two meats. I got beef and chicken. It’s coming with side of soya sauce. And I asked that chili oil again, it was delicious. Before that for appetizer I bought hot buttered prawns dish. Guys to my mind this is the best hot buttered prawns in Staten Island. You should try it. I specially gave a tip for the chef. I had a delicious lunch today. Guys thank you 🙏🏾 keep it up the good work. I wish you all the best ..!❤️
Authentic Tai Shan style clay pot rice with option to choose two or three ingredients. Small place operated by family, with only five tables. The clay pot rice we ordered are yummy but quite greasy, you can see a lot of oil at the bottom.
Gold Dumpling
New restaurant opened up about 2 weeks ago. Had to check it out. We ordered the pan-fried pork & chive dumplings & the chicken lo mein with white noodles. Added the chicken wings & pork bao buns subsequently. The dumplings were good, but the handmade noodles were excellent! The owner said he pulled them himself! Great texture and bite to the noodles. The chicken wings were good but came with only 6 pieces. The pork bao bun was juicy! We wish them good luck with their business. Great selection to choose from if you're gluten-free! We'll go back for those handmade noodles!
There are many gluten-free foods to choose from. Gluten-free dumplings, buns, and noodles are very special.
China King
If I could give zero starts I would I ordered food from this place food has okay , but the delivery driver guy literally assaulted me and harassed me just because I didn’t tip…. I didn’t had cash on me since I payed online , he then almost proceeded to put his hands on me I was really scared because I was alone I just grabbed my food and came inside as fast as I could. But yeah such a bad experience not ordering ever again!
I'm very disappointed. I was craving chinese food for the first time in a long time, so I decided to order from here. So, the homemade iced tea is the inky thing that I liked.. the pork egg rolls were sooo greasy. We ordered chicken wings with French fries. They hardly gave any fries and they were very soggy. I also ordered vegetable pan fried noodles. This is the only place that put the brown sauce in the same container as the noodles and vegetables, very soggy and not good. Who does that? It's usually put in a separate container so that doesn't happen. How am I supposed to enjoy soggy and greasy food fifty something dollars down the drain now. Now I wish I used a different place. Oh, and at first they forgot all of the egg rolls. I was told that it was never put in the order, even though I remember telling them. Would not recommend.
Sing Bo
Wow! They must’ve changed oils and not informed anyone. We have always ordered from them in the past. Food is def good! HOWEVER, last evening my son, who is severely allergic to peanuts, ordered take out from them, as we do every Sunday evening with no problem. His usual order, sesame chicken, and an egg roll. We ate our dinners, trimmed our tree, and said goodnight. An hour later I was in the hospital with my son with a severe allergic reaction to their food. Drs said it was peanuts. My son’s face blew up and throat closed. Really severe. Sooooo, for those who have always been ok with their fried foods etc., please beware. Like I said, we never had a problem with them but something def changed…they should st least let their customers know that they now use peanut oil. It’s only right.
It was super nice! went there with my friend, we got to sit the fish tank and was able to chat a bit before ordering. We got the crab rangoons, sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and egg drop soup which was the lunch special ! super good! sweet and sour sauce was amazing!! crab rangoons were a bit sweet for my tastes but still good! Guy at the front was super nice and helpful with our orders, will be coming again.
