Called to place an order for delivery at @ 7:57pm for a half a chicken with fried rice and shrimp lowmein. Called back at 7:58pm to change the shrimp lowmein into a veggie lowmein. I was told they can’t do that because the food was made already. How tf you make shrimp lowmein in one minute but it take 30 min for delivery? Food is good but customer service is trash.
Disgusting! These people are so money hungry that they send out Old Food. I order a shrimp and broccoli, chicken wings and apple stick. The rice smelled like rice that had sat out over night. The shrimp smelled fishy. The apple sticks were fried bread with zero apple filling. I was extremely angry because my child had already took a few bites before I realized. People cook your own food or order from quality places. I normally order from a Cantonese place on 101 ave and 110th st but they are closed on Mondays. Their food is always fresh and great tasting.
Tropical Jade 1
So I’ll start by saying the food was so freaking good. The dumplings I had to order 2 of cause it was just that good the chicken fried rice was amazing and the vegetables taste fresh and nice . The drinks strong af & delicious they had a full bar . They only had one server and she was busy so it was hard to get her sometimes and they have drunk patrons all in your face getting rowdy lol so they lose a point for that . But everything was lit and if you like soca and reggae the tunes were played lol but the music so loud don’t try to have a conversation . Oh and the price was very reasonable and many options to choose from
I made an order for delivery; food arrived cold and stale. I ordered three lo meins and I asked that it be made saucy. The woman on the phone increased the price to make it “saucy”. I didn’t mind paying extra because it’s what I wanted. When the lo mein arrived it was extra dry and both of the lamb lo mein had no vegetables inside and barely a few tiny pieces of lamb. The pepper shrimp had good flavor. I also ordered jerk chicken fried rice, the rice was okay but the chicken was refried resulting in it being stale and hard. The delivery driver also has an attitude problem even after I tipped him. The food here used to be of better quality and taste before; never ordering from here again.
New King Garden
This right here is good food and no one can tell me otherwise. Their chicken is cooked spot on crispy and not dry. Their lunch specials make it great for days when in a rush for such a great value
It hurts me to say this because I order from this place a lot… but this last purchase of boneless ribs was horrible, nothing but fatty pieces and the other(nonfat) pieces don’t even taste like ribs, at 1st it smelled burnt.. I took a few bites because they never did me wrong I kept thinking maybe it’s just one bad pice or 2 but omg It’s definitely notttt the regular ribs I have gotten from them. I don’t know if the ribs are old expired or it’s something else but this is not boneless ribs I’ve gotten in the past I’m 100% sure. If I can send this out for testing I would. Straight in the garbage. Never ate anything so foul my whole life. And to believe I was a regular customer this is such a disappointment.
China House
I don't know how many ppl eat chicken gizzards but, I love them. This place has the best I've ever had anywhere. Also, their pu pu platter is insanely good.
Sesame chicken could have better taste veggie fried rice no taste .
Mr Zeng
I’ve tried many Chinese food places, this by far is the worst one, they gave me expired wings, all the bones are really black and when I called them, they said they cannot control it. Which is frustrating. How can you not control your own wings. Just make a fresh ones.
Food was okay but the cashier took her own tip. I called in and picked up my order so I’m not sure what the tip was about. It was $1 so it was a big deal but there are folks who wouldn’t have realized.
New Chun Feng
The food was good the first time we decided to try this place out but the third time we ordered the food wasn’t that great. It tasted stale.
The shrimp fried rice and chicken wings are the best in the city!
New Thriving Restaurant
This would be the 2nd location of 3 spots I would visit so I'm familiar with how the restaurant works. I just missed out on the lunch special by 10 minutes so I settled on a regular meal and you do get your money's worth on it. You can get a filling meal for around $10 and what I ordered was surprisingly too much for me to finish in one sitting. It doesn't take away from the overall taste which is pretty good. I'd recommend it, it's certainly worth it's value compared to other restaurants nearby.
Happy I came by here . The pepper mussels are spicy and well done. Our waitress cute little short girl... Alicia she's cool Recommended the fried Banga.. excellent customer service ... gonna pass by again for the holiday
New Chinese Garden of Guyana
I LOVED the food. I had house rice with chicken and the chicken was juicy and the rice had flavor and ALOT of meats and shrimp!!
This restaurant on Liberty Ave was a solid find! The food was overall quite good, with the pork truly standing out. The chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the lomein was packed with fresh vegetables. However, th dishes fell a bit flat, lacking the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance was comfortable, but nothing special. Overall, it was a decent dining experience.
Cheun Hing Kitchen
Food is good, but found multiple hairs in food. This happened multiple times. The first time it was okay because mistake happens, but when I ordered today I found two hairs in my food. I have curly hair and the hair is straight, so I know it is not mine. When I go to the restaurant I see no one with proper nets so it figures. However, the food is good when done properly. Sometimes they don’t cook the rice enough and the chicken is tough but sometimes. As a person who’s been resorted to eating there as a quick meal I can say, the food is good the quality is terrible. Their chili oil is amazing though, but I have very little experience with chilli oil. Delivery man is rude.
Delivery driver is rude and impatient. He deducts his own tip out from the money I give him before returning my change and mumbles under his breath. very unprofessional.
New Thriving
The third location of this particular restaurant, the good part is the food is pretty good. Nice to know the trio of restaurants can serve delicious proper food. The reason however, I'm giving this spot 3 stars is lukewarm service and environment compared to the other two spots. Maybe because it's a weekend, but the place was incredibly packed and the music was outrageously loud, I couldn't hear myself think. It took almost 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and if I didn't have myself already occupied watching a sports event, I would be impatient about how my food is taking that long to get prepared. The ladies weren't exactly too attentive either as I tried to get someone's attention to clear my table after I was done. I don't mean this to be a bad review because for what I know, the food is on point. It's just that the other two locations are better if you want proper service and a more relaxed atmosphere.
Not sure what happen last night but the food was not as expected. No taste the chowmein straight up nasty. I am in town visiting and was craving some Guyana food this not the place.
