Really good Chinese food. The dumplings seem to come in baskets of 4, like the Xaio Long Bao. Lots of noodles and other dishes over rice. There’s an order kiosk near the entrance with plenty of pictures, makes it easier to order if you don’t speak or read Chinese. They advertise no tips. Prices are relatively good for NYC
They only opened a month ago but this has quickly become my grandma’s favorite restaurant! We’ve eaten or gotten takeout here 4 times already. We especially love the fried chicken set and the soup dumplings.

Red Mountain Noodle House
Good food at reasonable price. Can't ask for more. Store owner is very friendly and tries her best to ensure her customers are taken care of. Definitely will come back again.
This place is awesome Fair prices, super fast, and good quality. Everything I have tried here is delicious and fresh.
Yozi 游子老鸭粉丝汤
If you're looking for a sit down full service restaurant, this is not it. It's basically fast food... you read the menu, order and pay at the counter, get your own silverware/bowls/napkins, then sit down. They bring the food to your table when ready. The food comes out very quickly and it's very tasty. I tried the duck noodle soup, pot stickers, soup dumplings, and potato leek dumplings. Everything was delicious. Total price was only about $30 and we shared between 4 people.
best dry veggie stir fry ever…puts a smile on this vegetarian’s face
Flower Brook Mifen House
Really good Chinese food. Might be difficult to know exactly what you’re ordering unless you can read the Chinese menu, but probably can’t go wrong with anything!
My son has been wanting to taste "authentic" Chinese food in Flushing for a long time, and a trip to JFK took us there. This place is a real gem - we had thought that it was a small noodle house, so were pleasantly surprised to see that they had a rich and diverse menu. Although specializing mostly in southwestern Chinese cuisine, the menu also features certain northern flavors, such as the famous Shaanxi hamburger "marinated meat in baked bun"(肉夾饃). My son ordered one and claimed it was delicious - the bun had a crispy shell and the braised pork inside was cooked to perfection. I ordered the vegetarian Mifen (rice noodle) in a clay pot. I thought it would come out in a petite jar, but it was in a real size POT that could feed a whole family! The noodle soup was a bit on the bland side, but with the line up of seasonings on the table, I customized my own flavors. My son loves "Stinky Tofu" - in this version, it was pungent fermented tofu fried crispy on the outside in a dipping sauce. Although I generally stay clear of strong smells (I avoid durian at all cost), this plate of tofu was a nice surprise! It didn't smell much but tasted really nice. My son chose the "sliced lamb mifen", which he consumed with gusto. We also ordered "fish fillet in hot chilli oil" (水煮魚), which was infused with Szechuan peppercorn that left one's tongue and throat tingling. The portions were generous for the modest pricing, we packed most of the fish dish home for our next dinner. p.s. The menu on the internet is incomplete. I could not find most of the dishes that we ordered.

味道让人想起老家 I got a few breakfast items along with wonton soup and they were delicious. No frills, clean and friendly. Seems like a busy place since lot of the items were sold out. It might be hard for anyone who can’t speak Chinese to communicate but if you want to try anything here are some translations of what I got. You can maybe show the staff the Chinese translations: 扁肉 = wonton soup 豆浆 = soy milk 菜盒子 = pan fried vegetable bun 芋头糕 = deep fried taro cake 蒸小肉包 = small steamed pork buns
Very friendly. Authentic flavors. A lot of food choices. They serve a lot of customers everyday. For those who gave 1 star just because hardworking, first-generation immigrant small business owners are not fluent in English, you are simply entitled and lacking empathy. And this place does have a bilingual menu now. Can you delete your 1-star review?
ShiMiaoDao Yunnan Rice Noodle
This is one of those rare places that’s truly worth the journey. My friend and I often fly three hours from Florida to New York in the morning just to have lunch here, then fly back the same evening — and it’s absolutely worth it. Every time I visit Flushing, there’s about an 80% chance I’ll find myself dining here. The food is remarkably fresh, and the soup is deeply flavorful — a comforting reminder of how great cooking should taste. In today’s dining landscape, where many restaurants seem to have forgotten the fundamentals of real cooking, this spot stands out even more. And frankly, when the food is this good, it’s a luxury not having to worry about cleaning dishes afterward.
A great place for a bowl of noodles! The rice noodles with sliced beef is a bowl full of flavor and spice. Imagine all of the great ingredients of hot pot put into a bowl... It's fantastic. The seared dumplings were delicious. A great flavor and light crisp. The bubble tea was nice and paired well with the noodles. Service was great and the waitress is so nice! Would recommend!
New Wok's Kitchen
Pepper steak with onion and pepper… More like onion and pepper with a little beef. And they forgot to deliver my iced tea I paid for. 0 apologies, just told me next time to remind them
This food is bland, tasteless, no flavor. Horrible. Plenty of other good places in flushing. Totaly not recommend.

This Yunan noodle restaurant is good. I order non spicy soup based for kids. I also order popcorn chicken and fired pork ribs. They love the appetizers. I forget to take pictures of skewered lamps; it is delicious too. Pork ear salad is also tasty. But soup dumplings take a while to get on the table.
Came here on a whim on a chilly day and we were mind blown at how good the food was. Noodle soup came out in a clay pot that kept the soup warm the entire meal, papaya salad was interesting (I’ve only ever had Thai style, but this was also delish), and service was fast and prompt. Although the bbq skewers tasted good, it was a tad bit too oily. Also, the place is pretty small (table wasn’t big enough for the amount we ordered) and they fill up pretty fast for dinner. Def would recommend to come on a cold winter day!
New Kissena
Very nice and polite workers there! My food was very tasty and delicious. Will be coming back.
I ordered Beef Egg Foo Young and the restaurant gave me a scramble egg with beef. It doesn't taste like egg foo young at all. Paid $11. I'm not going back to the restaurant.
MJ USA 東旺飯店
If you're searching for authentic Cantonese cuisine, this 3.5-star spot, with a long-standing presence, is the place to go. For those who criticize the service or the vintage decor, it's clear they're after something different. Personally, I appreciate the nostalgic charm of the old-school ambiance and service. If authenticity and value are your priorities, look no further. Relish this classic while you can, as Flushing quickly transitions to fancy, overpriced establishments with heavy-handed oil and overly bold flavors, all under the guise of "modern" cuisine.
Best roast duck in East coast. 🥇🥇 Perfectly roasted skin & aroma. I have only tasted better in Los Angeles. This duck will make your taste buds dance. I wager it will win at a food contest 😉😉 PRO TIP: I usually order half for $20 and reheat it at 300 degrees for 5 minutes in oven. The duck will turn crispy & golden brown Get the duck wings to go with it for $3. Pairs well with a bottle of Hoegaarden 🔥🔥 1/21/24 update: Duck over rice with lettuce is now 10 bucks, minus the tea egg. 👍👍 8/19/24: Still the best roast duck in town. Some Michelin star restaurants can learn a thing or 2 about the duck flavors here. $10 for a large takeout box. Includes free 8 oz bottled bottle. I can eat this 6.5 days a week 🎉🎉
Hong Kong Eats大家好港式茶餐厅
This Hong Kong style eatery/bakery is nothing special but the ladies behind the counter are very polite. Food is little on the bland side but gets the job done. This place serves up your typical Hong Kong dishes, as well as bubble teas and even roast meat. Indoor dining available however is self-serve so no tipping is required. The restaurant is fairly clean…..at least compared to many other restaurants in Flushing area.
Had no idea what happened to this restaurant. But I'm only giving it five stars just for its breakfast: Nothing beats Spam wrapped in Fried Egg on a Toast, Oatmeal, and French Toast as a combo. Although the quality of the food otherwise has admittedly declined sadly. But if this place is permanently closed, now where the hell am I gonna get my spam with egg on a toast?
