Ming Xing BBQ
The food was ABSOLUTELY fantastic! Highly recommend the potato dry hot pot, the pea shoots, and the lamb and spicy beef skewers. Loved the 'rice tea' instead of plain water!
My husband and I went to eat tonight. We ordered lamb and beef tendon. The beef tendon was terrible. It was tough and chewy. We complained about it when we paid the bill. The owner didn't apologize and said we ate it the wrong way. So I didn't give a good tip. But what was worse was that they checked us how much we tipped before we left and emphasized that we should pay at least 15% tip. Will not be back.
Dock3366 香港仔碼頭
Delicious and authentic Cantonese food at Dock 3366. Being in a hotel, they serve Cantonese dishes, and Americanized dishes. Tonight, we only tried the Cantonese dishes. The quality of the Chinese food is leagues above and beyond what you normally get in America and even in New York, and the quality holds up to the standards that a native would have for a Flushing restaurant. So if you're staying at the hotel because you're visiting from out of town, I'd implore you to check out some real and proper Cantonese dishes. Particularly good was the Barramundi, which is fileted and has its bones deep fried and was served with a soy sauce with scallions and sesame oil that was very well done. Chicken dish was delicious too and very juicy, which is impressive because I don't normally even like chicken. Give this place a shot and try some Flushing-grade Cantonese food.
Pretty good spot, not crowded and the food is decent, large portion that's great for sharing! Could be a little slow in getting the waitresses attention. Give it a try if you're looking for something new in the area :) food is like Cantonese style and a bit of mix fusion. Lots of options to choose from.
