Simple Noodle见面

14reviews

Came with my family of 4 on a week night for an early dinner. We were the only customers there. I'm hoping because it was around 5:30pm. We had 3 different bowls of noodles and 2 appetizers. Everything tasted excellent. The ramen was perfect consistency. My kids loved the tomato and sliced beef noodles and said that they wanted to come back for it again before they were even done. I had the spicy pickled cabbage and sliced fish noodle. The broth was so amazing I drank all the soup. Service was also excellent. Will definitely be back to try all the other items on the menu.

Holy soup dumplings! Delish! Family owned business with great prices and great taste. The chef, Tony, does a great job of putting together healthy dishes that taste great. My go-tos are the pork bowls but can’t go wrong with anything here.

Best Garden

First time ordering from this restaurant & I'm very glad I did. Food was tasty, fresh, & delivered quickly. Wontons in the soup were delicious. Egg rolls crispy & tasty. Order consisted of simple dishes but they were prepared well. Roast pork chow mein, shrimp & broccoli requested not spicy garlic sauce, & fried rice. All the vegetables in both dishes were fresh. The garlic sauce was tasty without the "heat". Going to order from Best Garden again. Thank you for a freat meal!.😀

After exploring many chinese restaurants this is my favorite place to eat the chicken is very tender and flavorful and especially their chicken and broccoli and their Singapore rice noodle's curry flavor is really authentic i always come to this restaurant and it has never failed to meet my expectations.

Sweet Wonton House

223reviews

TLDR: Looking for a solid HK style spot, Sweet Wonton is a good choice. Definitely get the house special rice noodle stir-fry, personally I like switching it to the thinner rice noodles. Tasty wonton/dumplings too! Little Neck has pretty solid Cantonese food now, Sweet Wonton on Northern is a popular spot for good reason. Stick to the staples but the wonton soup in the bone broth is tasty. It's got that rich almost tonkotsu like creaminess but with the shrimpy flavor that you come to expect from a HK wonton or dumpling soup. The house special sesame stir-fried rice noodles is so good. Salted fish, dried squid, chives - ask to switch to the thinner rice noodles which I think tastes better. The textures are good, lots of flavor and tremendous wok-hei.

Looking for a no nonsense Cantonese noodle and rice shop? I went for lunch and ordered the salty chicken and mushroom congee and the wonton & dumpling noodle with the optional bone soup. The congee came out in a clay pot bubbling hot! Pro tip, sprinkle a little white pepper and enjoy some seriously good congee! Next came the wonton & dumpling noodle bone soup. The wontons and dumplings are stuffed with big chunks of shrimp while the noodles were cooked perfectly. The bone soup is really tasty - I drank the entire bowl. The service is pretty good as well. It’s a small restaurant with approximately 6 tables, 7 if you count the outdoor dining table. The servers speak both Cantonese and Mandarin and they can be loud so be prepared. Decor is basic.

New Northern Manor

We recently visited the New Northern Manor for dinner. They offer a small parking lot in the rear and self-pay street parking. The restaurant can accommodate both small and large parties and is kid-friendly. However, as with many authentic Chinese restaurants, the dinning area can be quite loud. They have a live fish tank with healthy-looking fish. During our visit, king crab was priced at about $50 per pound. It was expertly prepared by steaming with garlic and ginger. The second cooking option for the King Crab was with steamed egg. Other dishes met normal standards, though they added extra beef to the Western Lake beef soup, which was different but still good. Overall, the prices were fair for the quality of food. Be aware that the wait time for a table on weekends is very long. Also they serve Dim Sum during lunch.

Dim sum experience in Little Neck. They do have dimsum on weekdays. Assuming limited varieties. Still had the typical assortment of buns and dimsum dishes. They do have a small parking lot. I find the spaces tight, so if you have a nice ride, you should opt for metered parking on the street. The staff is friendly and the food quite good. They have a small parking lot.

Ocean Restaurant

Our Order was delivered quickly at 8:00 pm on a Tues night. Beef chow fun is perfection. General Tso chicken spicy and terrific if you like spicy. We do. Beef with broccoli is awesome also. Steamed white meat Chicken and veggies plentiful and sauce is delish. Crab Rangoon delish but they forgot the sauce. We will forgive them. Haha. Boneless spare ribs are not very good. They must all be pre-frozen in every restaurant near us. Kind staff. Will order again.

Have ordered food from this place for a number of years. The quality of the food and how it is prepared has slowly gone done. Used to be much better. Order spareribs tonight. They were under cooked. Spareribs used to be alone of the best in our area. Prices have gone up a lot. Quality and quantity have decreased. Time to find a different place to get Chinese food from. Disappointing.

Jade Asian Bistro

We went there for a quick lunch before I flew home yesterday and all the dim sum, soup and beef chow fun was delicious. I would definitely come back here with no hesitation. The staff was very very attentive and prompt, the two dishes we ordered came very quickly.

See my photo. Where is beef? It’s a pork coating with very thick flour and fried. Disappointed and disgusted “Chinese food”. Now wonder so empty in the dinner time. “Chinese” restaurant cut deep to cost down… this kind of quality- unacceptable!

King Wok

Friendly service with tasty food which is not greasy compare to other typical Chinese take out order place. So far there is also outdoor seating area due to the pandemic. Still the seating is not so bad! It’s pretty relaxing!
