I only come here because I work close by, but never again. The young girl behind the counter had an attitude when I ordered and then practically flung my bag towards me on the counter when I picked it up. The food is bland at best. I’m better off just going all the way to College Point Blvd.

Moved to the area abt 6months ago and ordered here a handful of times. Not the best food. Older lady is nice BUT the blonde young girl is rude. I craved Chinese food abt 2 wks ago. Didn’t eat all day just for this meal. When I went in the blonde girl was rude. Wouldn’t even look at me while I ordered. She was on the phn. Gave me attitude. When I gave her cash to pay she snatched it so I asked if she prefers I don’t order from her she continued with the attitude. I asked for my money back and she did not hesitate to return it. Clearly she didn’t feel like working that Friday. Won’t go back EVER!

6 out of 5 stars for service. Haven’t been to a place that is so authentic and outstanding service. The restaurant was spotless clean to even sauce station! There’s rooms for private party and even a stage if you were to rent out the whole space. There was also cute stuff animals for sale in display and complimentary ice cream. Recommend for those looking for a warm meal on a cold day.

Tucked away in a labyrinthine hotel plaza in College Point, Queens, lies a culinary gem that deserves its moment in the spotlight. This Chao Shan-style hotpot spot is the kind of place that makes food lovers like me excited to spread the word. Once you navigate your way to the second floor, you're transported--not just to China, but to a world where fresh, hand-cut beef reigns supreme and every detail sings of authenticity. Let's talk beef. Here, it's always fresh, never frozen--a rarity that sets this spot apart. The half-and-half pot we ordered featured two soup bases: a rich, savory beef broth and a tangy, flavorful tomato broth. Each brought out different nuances in the fresh cuts of meat, and together they created the perfect hotpot experience. The beef balls, hand-pureed to perfection. Tender, sweet, and bursting with flavor, these are a must-try. And don't miss the hand-sliced cuts of sirloin, chuck sirloin, and shank. They're melt-in-your-mouth delicious, delivering that indulgent, velvety bite you dream about after the meal ends. But it doesn't stop at hotpot. We also indulged in their preserved meats and frog claypot rice --an earthy, aromatic dish that balanced tender protein with rich flavors. The fried salt-and-pepper squid was another highlight, perfectly crispy with just the right amount of saltyness to keep you reaching for another bite. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, from the texture to the portion sizes. The space itself is spacious yet cozy, with beautiful décor that makes it perfect for a celebration or an intimate dinner with friends. Even the takeout game is strong here. Their lunch specials like the clay pot rice and beef rice noodles soup hold their own in both flavor and portion. Service is impeccable, attentive, warm, and going above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. This place isn't just a meal; it's a story of culinary passion and cultural authenticity. Whether you're here for the broths, the signature beef balls, or something adventurous like frog claypot rice, every bite is a journey worth taking. Highly recommended for anyone craving fresh flavors and a dining experience that feels like a little piece of Chao Shan in the heart of Queens.

The only thing better then the food here is the love my ex wife has for her new man. I will never get her back , but i will always come back here for the orange chicken. Food, quality, and service is outstanding.

Did this restaurant cook or are they cooked? As Buddha is my witness, I've been a customer here for 17 years, back when there was a little chinese boy doing homework in the corner. This family can cook the fried rice so good, it can make Uncle Roger proud.

I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the food. The Sliced Pork Belly w. Chili Garlic Sauce was actually sweet, which threw me off. I lost interest after just one bite. The so-called “paper-wrapped lamb” was really just cumin lamb served on a piece of foil. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t particularly good either, and it was quite salty. The biggest letdown was the mapo tofu. The tofu had no flavor at all, and the sauce wasn’t numbing or spicy. Mapo tofu is supposed to be one of the signature dishes of Sichuan cuisine, and seeing it done so poorly was honestly frustrating. The rest of the dishes were more or less acceptable, but the fish had a noticeably not-so-fresh texture. Ironically, the best thing I had was the simple scallion fried rice, though even that was a bit salty. On the bright side, the owner clearly has some artistic talent, all the paintings in the restaurant were his own work.

Feeling lucky to try out before they close.. the owner told us they are about to retire. If u r around the area, visit once for authentic Chinese food! Plus, super nice pricy. Sharing some dishes I remember below. 💚🍚🥄Green onion fried rice was super special. Look might weird but smelled really good and the taste was simple but rich. 🍤✨Fried shrimp was delicious. Simply pick the one you like. 🍲Fish soup was good too. 🥔fried shredded potato in sour sauce was good toooooo! Highly recommend this one.

This is the spot for Wenzhou’s classic shack eats. The stewed rib noodles are as close as you’ll get back in Wenzhou. ( Rubs are super tender literally just melts away, soup has a little vinegar and pickled veggies for acidity, and the wenzhouese rice noodles ughhhhhh so divine) AND ITS UNDER $10 FOR A BOWL LIKE WHERE DID INFLATION GO My family literally comes here to stock on cold dishes weekly or every two weeks at the longest; the deboned pickled chicken feet the marinated jelly fish cucumber salad omfg the wenzhounese classic fishcake! the spice beef offal The smoked quail They are super busy in the mornings, they have a 3 dish 1 soup model from 11-3 I believe! If you are feeling adventurous, try it out, if you just want classics just got for the noodle soup.

Love their beef fried rice! Prices are good considering the big portion sizes they give you.

New spot in town, glad this place opened up in the area. Picked up some dumplings and buns, pretty solid for breakfast. The customer service was really friendly. They have other items I look forward to trying in the future.

We walked by several weeks ago and got menu. We went back for fried skewers only to find their advertised menu was not active! Lame attitude and excuse. We walked out and went to Nana's restaurant.

Ordered delivery for pork w. Garlic sauce and shrimp with fried egg for 40 bucks(15,20, and 5 dollar tip for delivery despite saying free delivery over 30 dollars). I was going to order chicken dish but they say they don’t have any dish available, and the only thing they can offer is fried chicken; a Chinese restaurant offering fried chicken instead of the other traditional dishes can you believe that. Now here’s the part that made me give this restaurant a one star: there is no meat or shrimp in the two dishes I ordered. They overwhelmed the shrimp with egg with eggs, and you don’t even see a dozen shrimps in there. The egg was soggy and there is about half a cm of water at the bottom. Additionally, the egg has no flavor and the shrimps taste like they came from a frozen packet. 20 bucks for a dish that taste worse than school lunch, I must say it has to be a scam. My advice to you guys, learn the recipe yourself, it literary takes 30 minutes to cook these two dishes and save 75% the cost even with more meat, and you’ll be surprised how much tastier your own cooking is compared to this restaurant. Or find another restaurant around the college point stop and shop area to order your favorite Chinese dish.

If I can, I won’t even give 1 star . Ordered beef with Chinese celery. I don’t even get the see the celery. It’s pork with preserved veggie which I don’t eat. Last week I ordered chicken with eggplant in garlic sauce. There’s no chicken in it. Didn’t complain last time , this time I called. Then the owner said, when order next time, double check before leaving……. And

The Buffet

We have been dining at this buffet restaurant regularly each week for three four months. Most of the servers are pretty polite and considerate. They would automatically ask us whether we need coffee refill. Pick up used dishes promptly. And if the lunch hours wasn’t so busy, they will stop by and try to understand how good the foods are prepared. The place is very clean and bright with the to the floor windows. The ceiling is really high compared to the other restaurants. I like the most of this restaurant is the atmosphere in here, with the big city view by the window, is a relaxation. Enjoyable lunch time.

Nobody expects 5 stars from a buffet so don’t expect coming here will change that but the food is hit or miss depending on what you pick. There food for all kind of lover of food including seafood, meat eaters, Japanese, pizza and desserts. You will be stuffing your face in no time but get there early as parking even with a garage parking can be a headache. Drink are unlimited and free lobster (frozen of course) the minute you sit down. Go on weekend as there more selection. The meat are great , Japanese needs some work as the rices are too plain, raw bar is fresh when I was there and dessert although plenty, are too sweet for me. This is a no tipping restaurant so there just tax but bring the cash as it’s a cash only business. I would come back again but I wouldn’t go out of my just to get it.
