The food here sucks. Nothing here is fresh. All the seafood got a funky taste. You’re better off going to an ayce hot pot place for the price.

This store evidently does not wash their ingredients. I was met with a cluster of sand on the bottom of my soil and it felt like I drank sand water. The lady in the front was disrespectful as ever. It has only been open for less than a month!!

Was excited to try Shaxian Delicacies, but honestly this was rough. The noodles were bland and sitting in a greasy, flavorless broth. The beef soups tasted like they came straight from a freezer bag, boiled in water with barely any seasoning. Everything looked sad, and tasted even sadder. We went to Fuzhou restaurant next door to eat afterwards. One star for the effort, I guess

The best authentic Shaxian snack restaurant I have ever eaten in New York! Very satisfied! 5 out of 5!!!

We had a tomato fish, with salad, black mushroom, soft tofu and another green. It tasted normal, but good. The rice was free because we ordered the big portion of the fish. They claimed that there are serious about the choice of the rice and I can taste that. The service was fine. However, a black guy( not customer) came all the way in to the washroom and yelled at the waitresses. I think both the waitstaff and customers were terrified. It was not anyone’s fault but our lunch was ruined.

Nice little spot specializing in sauerkraut fish soup, which appears to be very popular with locals. We went for a mildly spicy option and weren’t disappointed, everything was very flavorful, and regular sized soup is more than enough for 2.

One of many walk up take out spots in Flushing Queens. The buns here were delicious and cheap. You can't go wrong with that. Be mindful that it is cash only.

this concept is amazing to me. the baos are delicious but the skin could be a little bit crispier. i cant complain that much though since it's so good. i bought some for my grandpa and he loved it! this was my second time to come back and i will be back again

The jian bing was disappointing. The crispy noodle was fried in old oil and was super greasy. They were so stingy with the scallions & cilantro that I couldn’t even taste it and I had to go back and ask them to put more in. The sauce was not that spicy or tasty. We also tried the Peking duck stuffed one and there was a decent amount of duck but not sure I would pay the $5 difference next time. They were fast and efficient with the order taking. Take out only with 2 small tables in the back. The other place that is probably better is closed on Sundays. Dec 2024.

I’m just happy to get a jianbing at this point really. Is it the best jianbing I’ve ever eaten? No. But these days my expectation for Chinese food quality / authenticity in NY is quite low. This suffices. It’s ok. Kinda pricey. No seatings (around 8 seatings in 2 tables in the back, firmly occupied for hours by some). Accepts WeChat pay. I like the roasted duck flavor.

You know it’s good roast duck when you walk up to the window and there are cooked ducks hanging in the window! Atmosphere is liking simply because it’s really grab and go versus. Enjoy it on site. Only reason for the four stars on the food is the fact that the duck is cold or room temperature. However, the flavor is delicious! Classic roast duck with no frills.

After a long morning of hard work, I was starving and decided to try the chicken and BBQ pork over rice at Comer 28. For under $10, the portion was generous and the flavors were amazing! The tender chicken and smoky BBQ pork paired perfectly with fluffy rice that soaked up all the delicious juices. This meal hit the spot and left me completely satisfied. Highly recommend!

This place has been around forever. Wonton soup, hor fun soup and peanut noodles $10 for the whole order. Great soups 9/10 for the price Peanut noodles were a bit on the darker, sticky side which is not traditional like I how other FJ places make it in Chinatown or in fuzhou. 4/5 because of the price. It’s hard to go wrong here.

This is a store with a deviant overall environment. There were people smoking as soon as I walked in, but I heard it looked like the store in Fuzhou. However, it doesn't change my view of environmental bias. The most recommended dish should be the fried frog cubes. When they are first served, the skin is very crispy and there is quite a lot of meat inside. As for the snails, many of them are not clamped open, so you can only pick them out yourself with a toothpick, which is quite troublesome. Other dishes are more average.

THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING! Ordered chicken at this restaurant and you could see some white hair attached to each piece. Ordered some soup they recommend and it tastes and smells like from sewer from your kitchen. I’m glad that this restaurant has redefine the meaning of worst food. While we were eating the other table is smoking and the owner was fighting with another customer for some reason. The plates are shiny, because they don’t even care to clean the oil on top of them. And they do a mandatory 18 percent tips no matter if you like their service or not. It really seems like a legit restaurant from pictures of dishes you see from Google map. If you would risk your life for food safety problems, and you like the smell of smoking, sound of arguing and fighting, and waste your money, then go!! One star is a over-compliment for this restaurant.

Terrible food. very dirty, got food poisoned eating their food 2 days. vomit, diarrhea, and still dealing with fatigue and light headache

I’m only giving it a one star because that is the lowest I can. I was accompanied by 2 colleagues. We arrived Sunday night at 2am and were refused service. The restaurant was mostly full and several more entered after we were refused service. I sure it was because we all were Caucasian. Luckily we found a place next store that was delightful.

nasty food and very rude service, the waitress was speaking to me some lauguage i dont understand a word.

Those is a local restaurant in Bayside Queens that I had lunch with a friend. You can stop in for lunch or take out since it’s set up for both. I highly recommend sitting down and having a delicious meal at this restaurant. A bonus is you’ll get a free order of fantastic Soup Dumplings with your meal. They have a wide variety of soup dumplings to choose from plus lots of other appetizers and entrees. When my meal ended I took home half a duck and a pound of barbecue pork that they cut up in front of me. They were delicious as well. If I’m in the neighborhood I’ll definitely eat here again!!!

This breakfast restaurant is amazing. Thank them for giving me the last warm breakfast of my last NY trip. Everything tasted great and authentic. They gave free pork soup dumplings for each table. I really loved their dumplings and tofu puddings. Dim sum was also delicious.

This place is a classic FJ Chinese style cooking, and I wouldn't stray to far from those dishes. The dishes are very cheap and descent sized portions. We like the mei fen, usually veggies and sliced pork. Razor clams cooked in bean sauce is one of our favorites . The restaurant is very old and is in need of an upgrade, and possibly not so hygenic but we try not to think of that too much.

Little to no service. Chef went home and we were not notified while waiting for our last dish. We didn't even know until we asked. Questionable cleanliness. While we were eating staff member randomly sat down on our table and started calculating stuff and talking on the phone. Low prices, food was decent but took quite a while to arrive (an average five to ten minute wait between dishes). Overall would've eaten elsewhere if it wasn't for time.
